A lot of the key plays on Pats drives were PI calls. I did not total them, but there were a ton, especially on the last TD drive and a key PI in first drive against Spector. Last drive Pats misfired repeatedly only to have PI call save the drive over and over.

Really good point. 🤔 The issue, however, was a drop in the emotional state of the team. The team was on an emotional high. Playing Pats hard to get emotionally revved up as a team-- and perhaps Allen in particular as well. How well the defense played against Rams and Lions is a total aside and not relevant to the point at hand. But being a MOTO, I get that the Bills defense was not great in the prior two games. If you think no one else knew that, I don't know what to tell you.

It's a team sport, sport. That's why the Bills are so good, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. And Allen leads in that regard.

To the surprise of all, turns out the Bills are human beings too. After two amazing road games on the road, the team came back to earth and played a mediocre game against a mundane team. I mean after all the fanfare and drama of the Lions game, how could most anyone get up for a game against a 3-11 Pats team on a cold cold night. So they did not have their A game-- but they won with their C game. That I submit, is the mark of a champion, not a sign of weakness. That is why KC remains so formidable as they win when they should not. If the Bills are developing that DNA, then we have a chance to topple KC. So, I view yesterday as an overall positive and a sign of growth. Happy Holidays!!!
