  1. Tannehill looks like he is back with Miami
  2. Less than a 1% chance. About 12 games have to go a certain way , including KC losing to both Atlanta and Chargers.
  3. Right. And because has a low floor and relatively high ceiling, bringing him in when behind is sort of nothing to lose. A whole game for Fitz is more likely to expose his deficiencies. Coming in when behind in relief, the downside of Fitz becomes largely irrelevant.
  4. So just for the slow amongst us, for Buffalo to have any chance to clinch the #2 seed this week, at a minimum Pittsburgh must lose, correct? Just want to follow today correctly. Then Browns or Green Bay need to win to lock it up, or almost lock it up baring a tie next week?
  5. Definitely. Like when Pittsburgh's third string running back basically beat the Bills and knocked them out of the playoffs back in the Bledsoe era.
  6. I was not referring to you as whining, it was other posters complaining about a lack of a bye for the #2 seed-- you indeed just stated a true fact. Truly sorry if I offended you or anyone else. Also I did not suspect that the use of the word "tautological" would cause so much outrage and make me seem like a "pompous ass." I promise I'll never use it again on this board. I also promise that I am neither sophisticated nor do I have an inflated opinion of my rather limited intelligence. And you have a good day too, it is the Season after all.
  7. My bad then. Where in Maryland are you. Live there too.
  8. Your analogy while interesting is not really apt. There is an inevitability in your scenario that does not exist in the horse racing situation, or the Bills seeding situation. But you did make me laugh! Really was not trying to "bash" anyone. But people whining is a pet peeve, so perhaps you could see it that way. I assume that is a rhetorical question.
  9. That is unquestionably true. Steelers beat Ravens twice I believe.
  10. Fair enough, poor choice of words. I guess my real point was that we are currently the #2 seed and people are complaining we don't get a bye. I'm so happy about this team, it just seems small to be whining about a bye or the lack thereof. Maybe it's just my fatigue with certain politicians who whine a lot.
  11. It's no different than being ahead in a horse race 100 yards from the wire with horses surrounding you. Talk to me when we hit the wire, especially with the "what if's" about not getting a bye. Nothing sadder than "what if's" especially when you don't know if you have anything to regret.
  12. Well that's tautological. Having the second seed after week 15 does not make you the second seed however. There are two games to play.
  13. We don't have the second seed by any stretch and already folks are lamenting the #2 seed does not get a bye. Very Billsy indeed.
  14. Unfortunately, Mayfield actually is starting to look like a decent QB. He was a game manager for most of the season, but he is improving. Hopefully he turns back into a pumpkin under playoff pressure. It would be fun for the Bills to face them.
  15. Jets letting it flow.
  16. CDC defines close contact as 15 minutes within six feet, particularly indoors. None of this constitutes close contact from what I can tell. Stupid, yes. but totally understandable and not all that stupid from the players. Now just the fans, pretty stupid.
  17. Good stuff. 10-6 likely will win AFC East however.
  18. Given the schedules, it would be a big upset if Colts/Titans, Ravens or Browns are not the three wild card teams. Cleveland has two easy games, Ravens three. Miami Raiders and Pats are toast.
