This game is over. -
What makes Sweet Caroline make any sense at a baseball game? It was a song about a young Caroline Kennedy. Just go with it.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs

Not this year. -
It was played at Dawson Knox's wedding and a Tik Tok video was made with the Bills dancing to it. Became a meme.

They also did it when Bills beat Ravens in 2021 when Jackson suffered a concussion in the playoff game. Go back and read Jackson's reaction. Certainly no one was "rubbing it in" that he got hurt. I know today's world is cynical, but I think in this instance it is for good reasons, not bad.

Did you watch the Rams and Lions games? Good enough. If the Bills did not call that stupid QB run at the 2 with 3 minutes to play and 9 guys in the box and the Ravens LB calling "QB run" and scored a TD, the second half would have been a complete success. O made a mistake there, but far fewer than Ravens which was the goal on a frigid night.

Don't let fools upset you. That is their goal. Don't reward it by reacting. -

Don't mind him. His analysis comes from his belief that the NFL is fixed and choreographed like professional wrestling. He believes, for whatever reason, that the script is for the Bills to win next year. There is nothing more or less to his thinking. -
The Bills drove the ball down field easily on the drive just before the Ravens last drive. Indeed, the Bills effed up by failing to score the TD, which would have ended it.

1/19/25 Division Round Playoff Post Game Thread Bills vs. Ravens
Casey D replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
One point the talking heads keep saying is that if Andrews catches the 2-point conversion, Baltimore would likely have won in OT. But there was still 1:30 left in regulation and the Bills had two timeouts left. So even if tied, the Bills had an excellent chance to drive for a FG in regulation. But who cares. We won!!! Go Bills!!!! Also an interesting stat on the weekend games. All teams who gained more yards lost. Go figure. -
Rams at Eagles - NFC Divisional Round Game Thread

Hurts is just awful. It will be a miracle for Eagles to win a Super Bowl with him at QB. -
Bills were mentally and physically exhausted from all that happened that year. In both regards, the team is in a completely different place this year. And they got beat bad early in the season by Baltimore when Bills were 3-0 and Ravens were 1-2 and in a must win situation. I could not agree with Simon more, zero similarity-- actually less than zero as Bills have the mental edge IMO because of the beatdown they took in Week 4.

Darnold has turned back into Darnold. Kinda sad.

They move in an effort to balance out the total bets 50/50-- at least that is the goal of the bookmakers. So, if the money coming in is 80/20 Ravens, they move the line to entice bets on the Bills to move the total bets closer to 50/50. It really is like a supply and demand market response.

I was born and raised in Buffalo in the 1960s and 1970s and have been a Bills fan since forever. The picture of the dog is our two year old Lab-- Josh. My Dad also loved to go to the horse races, and I loved it too. I learned to read when I was three because I wanted to know how to handicap. Today, they would have put me in social services, but I loved my Dad and I loved the horses. Never make money betting, and I am not rich, so about 30 years ago a group of us bought a racehorse. Over the years it became mostly me as my Dad passed and others lost interest. Our first horse was a mare we bought in the early 1990s, Quick Shift. Fast forward to October 12, 2024, and Shift's great grandson-- Brilliant Ice our homebred--won the Maryland Million classic for us-- the second biggest race in Maryland after the Preakness. We had never won a big race before, winning small ones was hard enough. When he crossed the finish line first by over five lengths, I instantly burst into tears and started sobbing uncontrollably. It was the most amazing feeling of release and joy, and literally in that moment I knew what it would be like when the Bills win the Super Bowl. I want every Bills fan to know that feeling, myself included. It will be amazing, and it will be like nothing you have ever felt before, at least it was for me. I really want us all to get there together in 2025. Let's start with the Broncos, it would be only fitting for me. Go Bills!!!!
