  2. I have to think that King and/or his agent got a swollen head after all the glowing reports from OTA's.  That's the only reason I can think that he's not signed yet.

The way the kid was talkin, I didn't think he'd do that.

  3. Bills | King Looking for His Shot

    Thu, 21 Jul 2005 11:36:48 -0700

Tom Worgo, of the Owings Mills Times, reports Buffalo Bills rookie CB Eric King is looking forward to getting back on the field for the team's training camp. "My goal is not just getting to the NFL," King said. "My objective is to be a player and future star in the league. I am going to bust my butt so I can put myself in that position." He made some eye-catching plays that impressed the Bills coaches and management during three spring Bills minicamps. "It's difficult to get rookies to settle down," Buffalo assistant general manager Tom Modrak said. "They are in awe of things. He came in with a great deal of confidence because he can make plays. He was intense about everything. He was very good at minicamp." Buffalo defensive backs coach Steve Szabo said King looked comfortable and confident even against starting offensive players. King will be competing for playing time as the team's nickel cornerback.

    Hope he makes it

  4. I am considering getting DISH network* . They have a Multi Sport package which broadcasts 20 sports channels from around the country.

Does anyone outside the Buffalo viewing area have this ? Can I see many Bills games if I get it ?

    Any help is much appreciated.

*Fezmid - DirecTV is ~ $10 pm more expensive considering I need 4 connections.

I went with dish because it was far and away the cheapest service. I went from$50 with adelphia cable to $37 with Dish and that includes DVR(this was before the $19.99 Promo.) I'm local so i don't have to worry about the Bills. Plus, I got the referrel deal.

  5. I'll be there. Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorites. The original, not the remake (though the remake wasn't  bad).

Shaun of the Dead was a good one too, check that out.

You know, those original movies like Dawn of the Dead are the ones that got me into the genre, but after rewatching them, they just don't seem as good as I once thought. Must be the age difference. Still like them though.

  6. I have a Weber Silver B gas grill and love it, but find myself using my Weber smoker a lot too.  You can't beat the charcoal and wood smoke flavor.
