For those with inquiring minds here is a link: http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9443192 I don't know anything about xanax. Does it give you a buzz? If he is taking it for depression you would think he would have a prescription. I love bad news for the fish!

Call for examples of Losman's "attitude"
Keuka replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fletcher said in a recent interview that Holcomb out played JP in camp and during the season. That might be a clue to how some of JP's teammates felt about him. Fletcher might be the best guy in the league to judge JP's ablility playing LB against him in practice. I'm not trying to bash JP. I hope he will learn to throw an accurate ball because that would make him an exciting QB to watch. I don't want the kind of excitement that comes from seeing him throw bad passes like I saw last year. I'd rather be board to death and win than die of a heart attack watching my team lose because of some bonehead play. I'm not sure any of this speaks to JP's attitude. -
If Vince Young is there at 8, take him
Keuka replied to The_Real's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we could get Young at #8 without trading up we should. We still get to rebuild the lines with the rest of our picks. If anyone doubts Youngs talent or brains they need to watch his last two bowl games. The one two years ago was just like the Rosebowl. He was a man among boys and won the game by force of will. Jim Kelly had that fire and he inspired his teammates to believe they could win every game. That and piss poor offfensive line play has been what has been missing from the Bills teams since the glory days. I wouldn't trade up but if he happens to fall to us we have to do it. Enough second rate leaders. -
Lighten Up Folks. It's not like he shot his hunting partner. I don't feel bad for Ricky. he will be fine.

I have never been embarassed to be a Bills fans before. Even way back when. At least those teams didn't have any talent. This team has talent. We see it for two or three plays then some moron screws up. They are like girls that like to be spanked. I have watched a lot of bad football but this team has played to historically bad levels. As long as I'm venting we know that we don't have anyone that can put together an offensive (ironic word) game plan but is anyone still ready to praise Jerry Grey? He has sucked this year and it isn't all about poor drafting and injuries. On Monday I am going to hang a black vail over my Bills poster in my office. It won't come off until TD and MM are gone.

Did I hear a rumor that they might put him on offfense for a couple of plays. When I watched the Jets game I thought about how long the Bills played Tasker on special teams and defense before they let him play offense. Both of these guys are playmakers. When McGee made that interception last week he ran like he was possessed to and nearly socred.

I can't remember the last time I saw the Bills run a successful screen play. Kelly Holcomb nailed the Jets with a beautiful screen pass to Willis. The line set it up perfectly. Willis made the catch and turned it up field for a nice gain. Bledsoe couldn't make that play. J.P. was too busy wetting his pants to complete any pass. Kelly Holcomb made it look as easy as getting out of bed. That is the kind of play that will keep defenses honest. One more game like the last two I will become a huge Kelly Holcomb fan.

That is a funny article. I loved this little gem (By the way, don't get married. I'm serious.).

Your right and Josh Reed had some nice plays.

I went to the game yesterday and I got my money's worth. The weather was great, tons of food at the tailgate party, the people in the stadium were just as entertaining as the game, and a few Bills players deserve a shout out for the games they played. Nate Clements: He has always killed the Dolphins. Great tackles, an interception, and the fumble. If the Bills want to move forward as a team they need to keep him next year. Sam Adams: I was at the game yesterday and I watched him terrorize Miami. It is amazing to see a guy that big, move that fast, with that much power. That is one pick up that TD has gotten right. Brian Moorman and the punt coverage team: The punts and punt coverage were awesome yesterday. Great special teams! Terrence McGee: Good coverage as a DB. Great run back at the end of the game. That run back last week against the Saints still haunts me. Kelly Holcomb: Played like a professional not a scared school girl wetting their panties.

ESPN reporting this morning SAINTS MOVE

Great Post As a former resident of N.O. I can tell you that the city will be back. The French Quarter, Garden District and Uptown experienced very little flooding. This was the heart of the city. Mardi Gras, the oil industry, the chemical plants, and the port of New Orleans will fuel the rebuilding of the city. The spirit of New Orleans won't be crushed by this disaster. The food will still be cooked, the music will still be played and the people will always know how to celebrate. I hope the Saint do come back. Although I've always been a Bills fan I also went to about twenty Saints games in the superdome. I always said they were my favorite NFC team. Saints fans are a lot like Bills fans. They have been through tough times and still support their team. They deserve to taste success after all of these years. All of the idiots who have been saying that the people of New Orleans should have known better can bite my A##. People still live in San Francisco and all along the California fault line, people still live in the Ohio flood zone, people live in tornado alley, and people still live along the coastal low lands. I have a lot of friends who can't return to their homes and have no job for the forseeable future so please don't respond to this post with some mindless uncompassionate tripe. I don't want to hear it. -

Reading some post this weekend describing the game I was afraid to watch last night. I did watch the game last night and I'm not to alarmed. It was a typical pre-season game. There were a number of good plays called back due to penalties. J.P. had some bad throws but he also made some excellent passes. The second string O-line came in early when the score was still close. When they did come in they had problems. Willis ran fairly well. I think he will run much better in the fourth quarter than in the first so his limited production in preseason doesn't bother me. I like Shaud Williams! I hope he gets playing time. We should let him come in to rest up Willis early the game and then let Willis pound it late in the game. When I see Lindel walk on the field I'm suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to drink heavily. My overall impression was that the coaches wanted to test players on the bubble and give the second stringers some experience. This led to missed assignments and penalties. It is going to take time for this team to gel. Fans will have to be patient early in the season. With a little luck this team will grow into it's great potential. I'm excited about this year. The Bills have the potential to beat anyone in the league (even Pittsburg and New England). Like last year their biggest enemy will be themselves. Lets get this party started! Go Bills.

I was watching him closely in the second half. I was impressed. Jerman however missed a couple of blocks (once where the r.b. got caught in the backfield).
-
I agree. They also need to be able to stop Corey Dillion. That was another issue last year. They are great against less talented teams. To be truely great they have to B*t@h Slap the big dogs.

I agree. MM may turn out to be the best coach Buffalo has ever had. He seems level headed and smart. I don't buy into the idea that we will struggle this year because of JP. I think there are three characteristic of this team that will offset JP's learning curve. I call these three characteristic the x-factor. The first one goes back to MM and his staff. I love the twisted plays these guys put together. They keep defenses guessing. It seems like the Bills were so predictable during the GW/DB era. Fans and opposing defenses knew the play before the snap. This team will keep people guessing. The second characteristic is JP's mobility. I hope he takes off once a game for big yardage (only once a game, not once a series). This will help to keep defenses on their heels. The final characteristic the speed of this team. This is especially true of the defense and the special teams. TD deserves credit for bringing in these guys. Fast recievers, fast defensive backs, and what looks to be a great group of running backs. I think the x-factor will make this one of the most exciting seasons in years.

People from Fairport come to Keuka lake to get away. Still, Fairport and Pittsford are pretty nice villages and there is training camp.

It was on the Elmira news tonight. He was going from Buffalo to Long Island in a pick up with a twenty foot trailer behind it. Apparently he fell asleep driving and went way into the woods. Everyone is o.k.

(OT) Are we Americans spoiled and lazy?
Keuka replied to Tolstoy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The flat world concept. I like the Basketball analogy. The rest of the world copied our coaching and training techniques and now we are a bronze medal country. We are fat, dumb and lazy. Hungry, poor people in China and India will be eliminating us from the competion. The only hope we have of keeping up with them is that the citizens of these countries will demand the kind of social change that will jack up their wages. -

Kill Bill 2 I watched it today. Awesome -
It always comes back to a school problem. Why can't the school solve all of the world's problems? That is what we pay those lazy teacher to do. If we only had a no popsicle left behind law! A.D. You post some funny stuff but you have a huge chip on your shoulder that makes you seem a touch pathetic. Flame on.

It is alright to have an obsession as long as you are still functioning at a reasonable level:) I will have to check out the new album if it is that good.
