I don't think there is any reason why we shouldn't win this game. We could even double Burleson if we wanted, they have no other receiving threat. Maybe Carlson. Maybe. I assume we will get a heavy dose of their run game, with Julius Jones, Maurice Morris and T.J Duckett. We'll find out if our run defense has improved pretty quick.

I wouldn't trade him, release him, or do anything. I'd let him rot for the next three years, collecting his game checks. There's no way he'd sit that long, he'd be in debt. Its not a distraction if you don't talk about it to the media, imo.

I understood that at the time, Houston felt they were adequate at RB and really needed help on the defensive side, so a lot of people understood and basically said, "why would you pick a luxery pick when your defense needs help?" What I never understood, was after they took Mario, why it was okay for New Orleans to take Bush when they already had McAllister and their defense was, and still is, beyond putrid? Why was that okay? Why was it not okay for Houston to do? Why didn't anyone jump all over New Orleans?

Back when my cousin graduated from RIT, his sister, also my cousin, is very ditzy. For anyone who doesn't know, RIT has some sort of program for the deaf, and a good percentage of the school is deaf. So we went out to dinner after the ceremony and were talking about all of the deaf people there, and the lady doing the signs at the ceremony for them. After we were talking about them, we realized the table sitting right behind us were deaf people from RIT, to which my cousin says, "Oh no... I feel bad, do you think they heard us?"

I guess Donahoe was really that terrible that we are now giving him credit for not picking a horrible player.

He has a lot of potential, considered in the draft as being picked in the second round. He must have some serious issues for a team to cut their 4th round pick the same year.

First of all, you can't possible think that you're going to "sneak" your current 4th round pick through the waiver wire. That would be just idiotic to lose your 4th round pick because of some stupid stunt like that. I thought we'd keep an extra TE as well, but this cutting Fine crap really needs to stop. I think there will be more moves to come. Either 1.) Schouman will be available for the game, giving us two TEs, or 2.) We will make some more roster moves and get another TE in here before Sunday. I just don't see us going into the game with only one TE. Also, if Royal is going to help block, I think he'll be over on the right side where Chambers will be on the leading NFL sack leader in Kerney. That will be a scary matchup, IMO.

DT Rocky Bernard and CB Jason Babineaux suspended for week 1. With these two, plus their top 3 receivers all out, Hasslebeck hasn't played because of his injury and their offensive line dinged up... there is no reason why we shouldn't win this game. Suspensions

Yeah, it looks weird from the outside. All you see is the two sides which make it look like a glorified High School Stadium. Its nice when you get in to see the field though.
