  1. Didn't Schweigert just get cut? Lol
  2. I agree, Ellison does look much bigger this year. But Poz? Are you kidding me? He looks like a moose on steroids. Out of curiosity, do you go and watch training camp?
  3. I don't care how good or bad you think Crowell is, but whatever he is, he's certainly better than Ellison. I barely saw Ellison in the picture when he was starting.
  4. I hope DiGiorgio gets the snaps instead of Crowell. I liked when JD was at OLB last year.
  5. Yeah, there's no dropoff between Crowell and Ellison
  6. Those are good prices. I should get my jersey there now for next year when my Evans jersey is worthless
  7. You say that Kerney beats up on bad teams with bad tackles, and he is only a dominant force against THEM. Well, what do you think Chambers is, an all-pro? So since Kerney gets a million sacks against bad right tackles, I guess you should be worried because that's exactly what Chambers is. I guess he will be a force then. Thanks for doing the work and proving my own point.
  8. Kerney matters because HE'S GOING UP AGAINST CHAMBERS. Why don't you understand that? Is your argument valid against a normal AFC tackle? Yes. But I'm telling you I'm concerned because ITS KIRK CHAMBERS. I don't even know why I'm bothering to argue with you. You aren't concerned about Seattle's pass rush because "they didn't pass rush well on the road last season" and you know this because "their fans told you so." Give it a rest, man. I don't expect Kerney to be THAT much of a factor because we will have to put a TE or RB to help out on almost every key passing situation, but their defense as a whole is very, very good.
  9. So you said I'm right about Chambers, but then you're not worried about Kerney. Contradict yourself much?
  10. Ah, yes. I'm a negative tool that doesn't have anything good to say because I'm worried about the NFL leader in sacks going against our 3rd string tackle. Gosh, I really should be more optimistic. I mean, Chambers looked decent this preseason, only had to pick his jock off the turf a few times, and I guess Kerney is a year older, right? Yeah... on second thought, I think Chambers will be able to handle Kerney one on one, and Marshawn will show a transformation and will all of a sudden be able to pick up the blitz. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. And if Seattle went by what our fans say, they might as well not show up because Trent and Lee are gonna hook up for at least 3 touchdowns and we are gonna blow them out.
  12. I agree. The "fan adrenalin" for the opener to the season is blinding most people. Their defense is good, very good. The have a very good offensive line and should have a very good running game with the additions of Julius Jones and TJ Duckett. I don't see our offense doing much on Sunday.
  13. Okay. Last year they didn't "pass rush well on the road" so I guess we don't have to worry about it then. Good plan.
  14. Are you guys saying that Whitner isn't more of a defensive captain than Crowell? Because that's what you're saying by eluding to the fact that they took it away from him because they are not going to re-sign him. Whitner is THE leader of the defense. Crowell is not anymore. Last year he was. This year we have Whitner, Kelsay, Schobel, Stroud, Mitchell, McGee... all before it'd be Crowell. Stop reading into things, geesh.
  15. Where do you get your info? We scored a total of 5 TD's from defense and special teams last year. 4 of those 5 TD's came in games where we lost. The only TD our defense and ST scored in a game we won was in a blowout against Miami, where the extra TD was unnecessary in a 38-17 win. We certainly did not win by our defense and special teams scoring points last year. Even if you were right, that's not even what I was saying. Lets say we "won most of our games" that way last year. To predict that our defense or special teams will score us points before the game starts is kind of ignorant.
  16. I think that's a little presumptuous. The Saints brought in Drew Brees that year. He was the new franchise QB, the face of N.O. that offseason. He was their spark. They also drafted Marques Colston that year out of nowhere. They already had Deuce McAllister (when he was still good) but their defense sucked. It still sucks. When Deuce went out last year, their #2 pick overall in Bush, couldn't even handle the load. They had to rely on Aaron Stecker and Pierre Thomas. A little ridiculous to pick a 3rd down/receiver type back with the number 2 pick in the first round. His greatest strength is working swing passes out of the backfield, com'on. They drafted in that spot for a reason - they had a ton of holes to fill. I just think it was the wrong move, for the same reasons it was the wrong move for the Texans to draft him.
  17. I understand, but I think to rely on the defense and count on them for points is holding the bar a little too high.
  18. How can you be confident thinking our defense and special teams will score 14 points for us? Thats "retardedly" ignorant.
  19. The biggest matchup will be our pass protection vs their outstanding front seven. They've got Kerney, Tapp, Julian Peterson, Hill and Tatupu... and they will be coming at Trent from all angles. Expect dinks and dunks and to look like we did last year. And expect this board to erupt.
