Because Peters is showing up tomorrow, the Bills have to pay him his game check for Sunday, at $190,000. Peters has missed everything so far: OTA's, minicamp, and preseason games. He hasn't even practiced once, and he's getting paid. If I were the Bills, you bet your ass he's getting fined, at the very minimum the $190,000 the Bills should want back. That pisses me off that he can show up for one day and they have to pay him almost $200,000 for acting like a little B word all offseason.

The surgery wasn't even a real option. Angelo "came out of the blue" and decided to do it all on his own. He did not discuss it with the Bills first. And they obviously have to take him at his word.

It is my personal opinion that Angelo wanted a new contract going into the season and throughout training camp. I think he was upset when he realized the Bills weren't going to give him a new contract and don't want him back after the year, and probably decided well, if I'm not going to have a contract beyond this year, there's no way I'm going to risk injuring my knee this season and not get a big contract from another team after the season. Plus, I think he was sticking it to the Bills' front office because he took it personal. If he has been having chronic problems with his knee, he probably didn't want to risk blowing it out and then trying to go into free agency.

Can you explain how and why Pittsburgh is "in a flux?" And what veterans do you speak of? They have a very young QB still, they've added 1st and second round picks to the RB and WR positions in Mendenhall and Sweed, and still have a very young TE. On defense their first round pick a year ago (Timmons) still is a back up, and not because he isn't good either. And you aren't sure what Cleveland's defense is like, but they're in first?

Ryan Denney wasn't jerking the team around and was in the plans for the following season, unlike Angelo. If the Bills know they aren't going to re-sign Crowell, they might have felt that they might as well start grooming potential replacements now. Especially since Angelo is pulling some crap with them.

I think the only way Jauron LOSES his job is if we win less than 7 games.

They drafted Joe Flacco in the 1st round to be their starter, plus they have Troy Smith. I think its safe to say they would not play JP over those two guys even if we gave him to them for free.

Jauron was surprised because he said "Angelo has decided" to have the surgery. I'm guessing the Bills and trainers obviously were monitoring the knee closely, and didn't think it needed a scope, but out of nowhere Angelo decided he wanted the scope, which comes off as a surprise.
