  1. And then they drafted Khalil to upgrade him the very next year because he did such a great job.
  2. He was on the team before Khalil got there, yet he never started. He's been a career backup, a guy they like to have because if they have an injury at guard or center, he can slide in there. Yet they never felt he was starting material. Someone on here said he was our version of Kirk Chambers, which I think is pretty accurate. I'm not saying he stinks, he's certainly serviceable, I just don't like to see it when people get carried away about his abilities.
  3. That's what I thought. He wasn't good enough to be their starter.
  4. He's not going to the Chiefs yet, there's also another team that has a deal in place for Cassel, I guess its all contingent on Cassel's new contract.
  5. Ok, but that's not until tomorrow, we cut him 2 days before that.
  6. There was no deadline to trade a player, so what is this "didn't get the paperwork in" crap? If we wanted to trade him we would have, right? Its not like he had to be traded by a certain time...
  7. ... Whatever you say. Brown is not on our radar unless his price significantly drops, but you can keep having your wet dreams.
  8. You guys and the Jason Brown talk is hilarious. Do you all realize that only the fans have shown interest in Brown, and the Bills haven't been mentioned in ANY avenue as a team that will covet him at all? You've all deemed the Bills as interested just because you want him. He rejected a 6 year deal from the Ravens, and wants a huge contract. He's not comin' here, get over it guys.
  9. You're right. Because all time stops and everything shuts down at 12:30 am.
  10. Oh yeah, that's great for the Bills... LT to the Pats. Are you nuts?
  11. If only he could have gotten open on that pass in the flat...
  12. I'd like to hear how a quick, penetrating DT who played his career in the Tampa 2 doesn't fit our scheme.
  13. His knees were clearly the reason he fumbled the ball in like, 5 straight games.
  14. I hadn't realized that was his only year at DE. Maybe that is the reason he is rated so high, because I just don't see it. But, nevertheless, I seem to be the only one that feels this way, so I guess that's sayin' somethin.
  15. I wasn't aware that you hang onto all my posts waiting for my "in depth analysis." Well, from now on, I'll run to my computer and spew my thoughts because I know you're anxiously awaiting at your computer. I've watched Barwin play, and I just don't see the strength and explosion needed to win against NFL tackles. He's a nice player, and should get some sacks at the next level, but he's not going to be anything better than we already have. That, to me, is a wasted pick. However, I also watched him play TE. During the Senior Bowl practices, I'd say he had the best separation against the linebackers and safeties in the one-on-one coverage drills. He looked quicker than at DE, which caught me off guard. The only problem was his hands. He seems unsure of himself, but this can be taught. If he had a little more confidence catching the ball, I think he could be very good as a TE.
  16. Who the hell cares what the 40 time is for a DE? Pay attention to the 10 yard and 20 yard shuttle.
  17. We know. Why do you think this thread was started? Are you just finding out about this?
