  1. So in conclusion, Ellison is at the same level as those guys. .... Right
  2. See my opinions above. Plus, dude... we are not even a week into free agency and haven't drafted yet, and you're expecting all our replacements to be here already. Calm the eff down and post this the first week of the season.
  3. When did I say Greer was better than McGee. I flat out said, "McGee is our best all around corner." My God, man. Get a clue before you post. The point is age. McGee might be better now, but there is no doubt his next contract will be for the downside of his career. Greer's is not.
  4. I'll be pissed if that's true. We should have kept him for that and let McGee walk next year.
  5. I completely agree with you, but I just don't feel that applies to this position. IMO, I would have rather kept Greer over McGee, as I do believe he is our best cover man. But the man is a free agent, the hole is already there, you either sign him or sign someone else. Either way, you've got to sign someone. It wasn't like we cut him, created a hole, and now have to sign someone when the player we cut was already under contract (Dockery). We replaced Greer with someone cheaper (albeit not as good), but the idea is that McKelvin is ready to step into the role. If we chose to not re-sign McGee next year, that will really make me mad, but McGee is our best all around corner, and McKelvin needs to be given this opportunity. There isn't enough room for 3 starting corners, so we got rid of one, signed a nickle guy, and saved some cash.
  6. What hole did we create? We've got McGee, McKelvin, Florence, Youboty and Corner. I don't see any holes. We replaced him.
  7. Had you actually gone to the website to find out, you wouldn't now look like a moron.
  8. Uh.. would that source be kffl? Nice try, hahahaha.
  9. As long as he doesn't end up on the Pats, I don't give a schit where he goes or what he's doing.
  10. Do you think the "Miami not interested in Coles" story is true? I have a hard time believing that one. Have the Bills offered Coles a contract?
  11. Do you remember Welker on the Dolphins?
  12. If it takes a 2nd, or maybe even a 3rd round pick, along with a new contract, I'd rather pass on Waters and sign someone in free agency that is good and avoid losing the high picks.
  13. I have no idea what the Bills would do, and if it were my decision to make, I'd get rid of Jenkins. All I'm trying to do is think of every possible option. I think most fans would think of Reed as untouchable (which I don't, but it doesn't mean I think he should go) so I'm just trying to think of every possible argument or scenario. Like I said, I think its between Jenkins, Reed and Roscoe.
  14. No. What I meant was that he just signed a deal and a week later they are bringing in Kelley Washington, and now Coles. What I'm trying to say is that I don't think they would have given him the deal (knowing they want to upgrade the receiving corps) only to cut him. The Bills knew they wanted to upgrade at WR. If they intended on upgrading, they know someone has to go. If they planned on that man being Jenkins, I don't think they would have signed him for 2 years in the first place. I know both Washington and Coles were cut, and were not free agents, but there is no denying that the Bills are interested in adding someone else.
  15. I'm sorry, but I think you are just incredibly wrong about that, and I agree to disagree. I don't see how you can even come close to arguing that Reed is a better receiver than Coles in 3rd down, and that he isn't a worker or blocker. Coles is an excellent receiver in all facets of the position, that does everything extremely well. I think any logical fan would see Jenkins and say he's the worst of the bunch, and that he'd be the one to go. However, the Bills staff puts an extremely high value on special teams, and they continue to not only keep players on the roster specifically for special teams purposes, but they also draft players specifically for special teams. I don't have any reason to believe they would just simply cut one of our best special teams players. Would I do it? Hell yeah. IMO, he's just a gunner and we can find someone else to do that, but do I think the Bills think the same way? Nope.
  16. How do you know they've been grooming him for a guard position and adding muscle onto his frame? It doesn't make sense to me. At LT, you need a big guy who has great quickness and great feet to match up with the speed rushers in the NFL these days. It is rare to find a guy like that. Bell has those abilities and natural talent, and it would be a waste to throw them away by bulking him up and shoving him into a guard position. If we wanted a slob to play guard, we would have drafted one or signed one. I don't think Bell is our man there.
  17. I know they can, but why keep someone who offers you nothing (Reed)?
  18. That's been developing since yesterday... and there's already a thread about it, I believe.
