  1. You guys that dismiss the positions he could play and the schemes he could play in are hilarious.
  2. Not really. People know that, they just don't care. He's similar to Shaun Rogers. While he's a dominant player when he wants to be, that style is just not for me. I know Shaun Rogers is great, and I know Raji is great, but that's just not the kind of player I desire.
  3. I'm not saying I think Raji will last until the 3rd round. I said I wouldn't take him unless he did. Raji is a slob of a player, who's greatest ability lies in conning scouts and fans around the league into thinking he's a great player. He is unmotivated, takes games off, plays when he wants to, and shows up when he feels like it. Will he work out? I don't know, but I'm certainly not willing to give him $20 million guaranteed to find out. I'd pick him in the 3rd and no higher.
  4. Does anyone know if the minor league pitching rotations are 5 deep like the majors? I want to go when Niese is pitching. I know he pitched their opener.
  5. I wouldn't pick Raji unless he was there in the 3rd. Peria Jerry is a very good player. I'm not particularly fond of the DT class coming out this year.
  6. So he wears 11 on the Redskins because he THOUGHT he was going at pick 11 to the Bills? Wtf?
  7. Wow. If we let New England come out of this year's draft with 4 potential 1st rounders in CB Vonatae Davis, DL Ziggy Hood, DE/OLB Connor Barwin, and RB LeSean McCoy... that would definitely be a very, very bad scenario for the Bills.
  8. I'm pretty sure the criticism of our front office putting a high value on DB's consists of THIS administration/staff, not the ones dating back to 1990. So, your stating of only the recent picks being used on DB's is actually strengthening their argument and weakening yours, just fyi.
  9. Anybody thinking he's a starter or we're not taking a lineman anymore is only fooling themselves. We've got absolutely no guards or backups that aren't tackles. There is no way we could afford to use our draft picks on both a starting LG AND backups, and this gives us our utility G/C swingman in case of injury.
  10. Thank God. You know it's bad when you're just happy to have a body on the roster.
  11. Are you serious right now? Wrong thread for that.
  12. Billsfreak, Act like you've been there before. Sincerely, Marv Levy
  13. What's your definition of weapon?
  14. At least with Malcolm Jenkins you could assume he'd play Safety. Not that I think choosing a safety at 11 is ok, either. But a CB?
  15. I'd have a heart attack if we took this kid 11th overall. Even if he fell to the 2nd round.... no way.
  16. Of course there were more late round steals back then. 20-25 years ago there wasn't nearly the coverage and publicity surrounding the draft that there is now. Fans didn't read scouting report upon scouting report from internet guru's like they do now. There wasn't as much film watching by fans and draft guru's, they didn't have entire shows specifically for draft talk, there wasn't the news technology there is today... I could go on forever. In this day and age, 2009, it is almost impossible for a player to fly under the radar. Sure there are players here and there, such as a Marques Colston, even Tom Brady. But as a whole, it was much easier for that to occur back then. Now, it is nationally publicized about what your 7th round draft pick ate for lunch. Just different age and era. You're not going to find the consistency in late round steals per team that you did before.
  17. "So... you're tellin' me there's a chance........ YEAH!"
  18. Since the day your mother first touched mine Kidding, but couldn't pass that up either
  19. Please tell me which NFL team scouts you know on a personal level.
