  1. You said this: How can you like a player at 16, but not like him at 11? He's the same player...
  2. Of course it makes sense to trade down a few spots and take him, while acquiring an extra pick. You said you wouldn't take him at 11, but would draft him at 16. That is not the same thing.
  3. Wow. I couldn't wait to find one of the losers that thinks this way this year so I could make fun of them. I can't believe people actually say "I wouldn't draft this player at __ slot, but trade down 3-5 picks and I would." What in the HELL sense does that make, honestly? You draft a player based on how good he is. If he's a good player, you draft him, and if he isn't, then you don't. It aint rocket science. At pick 11 he's not good, but at 16 he all of a sudden is a good player now? Wtf?
  4. They drafted Brandon Albert last year, who I believe is their LT.
  5. But why do we need to take a LT in the 1st round at all? When Walker was at LT and Chambers at RT, the line was more than good. The pass protection was excellent. Not to mention we also have Bell, who we hear is progressing really well. Sure, Bell hasn't played a down in this league, but neither has any tackle in the draft. I think selecting a tackle in the 1st round would be dumb with our other needs.
  6. Thanks for scanning the first page of the board to make sure there weren't any other threads on the topic before posting
  7. Both are busts after not producing in their rookie seasons? Wow.
  8. I wouldn't know. I'd hope not. I at least thought Henderson was a dominant player regardless of any other factors. I don't think just because you take a player next to him away, that he'd all of a sudden drop as much as he did last year. I'm sure it has something to do with it, but that there's also other factors.
  9. While I love Henderson and fully advocate him coming here, you have to understand that last year was a SIGNIFICANT drop in his play, and his age may be taking effect. Jags fans collectively say he's not the player he once was. I think he'd be GREAT to have here, but at the same time, giving up the farm for him would be stupid, IMO. I wouldn't give any more than a 4th and Roscoe.
  10. I really loved the posts over there that were to the effect of, "...and toss in a player, like Roscoe." Yeah... just "toss in" the best punt returner in the league
  11. I just don't see the Bills drafting a tackle within the first 3 rounds. I don't think it is necessary, especially given the suspect talent level of the guys left over such as Beatty. Walker and Chambers were very good last year when Peters was out, plus Bell is waiting in the wings. I think drafting a tackle for depth to develop is a good idea, but drafting one high is ensuring him a spot on the bench. IMO, there aren't any tackles in the 2nd or 3rd round that would unseat either Walker or Chambers/Bell. Maybe I'm wrong about that. Don't forget we also have Jonathan Scott.
  12. I just took a stroll onto the Jags' board. They seem to think they should get a 2nd rounder, plus Roscoe, and maybe a 4th for Henderson
  13. I think the Bills will take Pettigrew at 11, and one of the defensive players will be there at 28, whether its Larry English, Clay Matthews, James Laurinaitis, Aaron Maybin, Robert Ayers, or you could go o-line with Unger, Mack, Beatty or maybe even Britton.
  14. Don't bother using that chart, its a boat load of crap.
  15. "Lets face it"? Did you not know beforehand that we were a small market team?
