  1. How can a guy that had like 8 career sacks in 4 years remind you of the NFL's sack machine?
  2. Yeah. At the time, my friends and family weren't that into watching hockey, so it helped them out come playoff time. They actually watched and could follow better and enjoyed it. For anyone who is a fan and watches regularly, it's extremely annoying. At least they're trying, though.
  3. Do they even have that anymore? I think the last time I saw that was in the 90's.
  4. This was the game, where after we won, everyone on WGR was saying, "Who on the rest of the schedule could possibly beat us?" 5-1, we just beat the Chargers and the Jags at home, and Brady was on IR, and the "division was up for grabs." We were so certain this was our year. Kind of depressing, actually.
  5. He's a defensive tackle, how trim do you expect him to be? Have you not looked around the NFL? Pat Williams looks like Octo-Mom.
  6. Good point, but who else would the Bills be moving up with Jacksonville for? Orakpo? Oher or any tackle makes sense, that's why it was probably assumed.
  7. Who cares? Did you think we were Super Bowl bound with Melvin Fowler, Derrick Dockery and Jason Peters, and now we're not?
  8. I think Bill Polian's selections are being phased out as well.
  9. I don't buy this at all. The Jags need a speed receiver (Holt doesn't change that) and also have been salivating over B.J. Raji if he were there. They also need serious help at tackle themselves. I don't believe they would trade out of that pick and not take either Raji, Maclin, or Oher, and especially for a couple 4th round picks.
  10. You're right. Just because a situation worked out a certain way with one player, that automatically means it's going to play out the exact same way with this one. Go Russ!!!
  11. I've seen him play. He has a very weak upper body, and gets easily bull rushed. His technique is poor, but can be worked on. IMO he's not the type of lineman that's going to be able to play right away. He's going to need work, but the ability is there. Think of D. Bell at a bigger program. Although, IMO, I think Bell has more raw talent. If he gets drafted, gets into a camp, and really does some work (wight lifting and technique wise) I think he could come in and play right away, but I wouldn't bet on it.
  12. I was happy last year when Hardy was sitting there in the 2nd round. Ecstatic. We all know how that turned out. I was happy the year before with Lynch, Poz, Trent and Wright.
  13. First of all, I'm not going to take statistics from nearly 3 years ago and ASSUME I'm getting the same as those, this year. That's absurd. Second, how about the 1st week of the season when Chambers dominated one of the best pass rushers in the league? How about when Walker dominated Derrick Burgess? How about when every tackle we put in front of Quentin Groves handled him, and Peters couldn't?
  14. Wait, so you honestly believe Peters was ever going to come back to the Bills the same? He wasn't. He has been pissed at this organization for two years and his play and attitude showed it. He would have held out again, and even if we paid him, the relationship was sour. We made the best of this situation. There was no way he was ever coming back to the Bills the same.
  15. 1.) In the words of Lawrence Taylor, "Don't.... Smoke..... Crack!" It isn't very good for you, despite how good it obviously makes you feel. 2.) When you come down from cloud nine, can you explain how Walker didn't play better than Peters and his 11.5 sacks allowed last year?
  16. If you want to draft a player with the 11th overall pick in the first round, that has produced nothing in college, because you think he has "upside"... then go right ahead. 1st round picks are supposed to be the guys you KNOW are going to be good. The projects go later. I'd never take a guy with my first round pick based on "upside" alone. I think that is outrageous.
  17. Didn't you both say you wouldn't draft him at 11 though?
  18. I think you can find someone, either on our team (Walker, Chambers, Bell, Scott), or in the 2nd or 3rd round, that could play LT and give up less than 11.5 sacks, while actually pushing in the running game. I don't think it needs to be at 11 only.
  19. We have NO ONE close to filling it? Really? Walker played better than Peters at LT last year. Chambers played better than Peters last year. The only way we wouldn't be better this year is if our new LT surrendered 12 sacks or more. Anything will be better than Peters was last year. Walker played good there, Chambers played good at RT, and Bell seems to be highly rated by the Bills staff. There is no reason we are obligated to take an OT 11th overall.
  20. If Ayers was NEVER a force in college, can you explain how he's going to be a "force" in the NFL?
