  1. Who cares what the actual number is? He's still an !@#$ that needed to be off the team.
  2. You're right. Flowers was much more productive.
  3. Makes sense. This IS the organization that selected Erik Flowers.
  4. IMO, if we don't come out of the draft with a TE from the group of Pettigrew, Nelson, Coffman, Casey or maybe even Ingram or Quinn, I think addressing the TE position this offseason was a failure.
  5. I don't see how you can say we have no "decent" options at tackle this season, when Walker and Chambers proved to be good, or at least, "decent." If the tackle we add in the draft is not a definite upgrade, then adding another tackle of the same capabilities is just a waste of a pick IMO.
  6. 1.) Because I don't believe Britton is a "very good" tackle. He's decent. We already have decent tackles. 2.) Because Mack may be the best center, but that doesn't mean he's the best center for us. Mack gets bullied when someone is over his face. You think Wilfork, Ferguson and Jenkins were in the backfield last year? Have fun with a smart center who excels at making calls, pulling, and getting out to the LB's. 3.) Alex Magee? Are you kidding me? 4.) Another safety in college that we need to play LB? 5.) Wasting a pick on a QB? 6.) No quality TE. 7.) Wasting a pick on a WR? We already are trying to get Roscoe out of here due to the glut at WR.
  7. He doesn't deserve any more chances.
  8. Wow, you see that rap sheet? Forget that loser.
  9. That would be a great deal for Baltimore. Those two players are being phased out in Baltimore, and to turn those two players into one of the better receivers in the league would be a great deal. Arizona would be getting a crippled TE, and we all know what McGahee is.
  10. Michael Johnson? Are you serious? I agree about English. I'd take him over Ayers or Maybin as well.
  11. Schopp looks like he's on drugs to people who are stupid. I've heard a lot of different sports radio shows around the country, and I have to say that I am glad for the people we have at WGR (minus my personal opinions on Jeremy White, who is smart, I just don't like his attitude). The people here are eloquent, and aren't just people who scream into the microphone and carry uneducated opinions and speak. The problem is, WGR is listened to by a bunch of mentally incapable people (as evident by the callers), so to them, the people of WGR "suck."
  12. I don't want to burst everyone's bubble for ragging on the front office if/when they trade Roscoe, but I looked at what the Steelers fans thought was fair compensation on their boards and the consensus was nothing more than a 5th rounder for the guy. They say he is just a punt returner and will only play a few snaps a game, so to give up a 4th or anything more is too much. Most here think Parrish will bring back a 3rd. Just wanted to let you know, in case you have an ulcer when we trade him for a 5th. Bills fans aren't the most realistic when it comes to our players. Neither are other teams fans I'm sure, just wanted to let you know what was out there.
  13. So two years ago, Henderson was better than Stroud? What does that have to do with Henderson's drop in play and age?
  14. Peters wasn't going to play this season without his new contract. If he did decide to play, it would be the same as last year. So you make the decision. What would you rather have, Walker at LT and Chambers at RT (Peters sitting out), or Walker at LT and Chambers/draft pick at RT with an extra 1st round pick? The choice is obvious to me. If Peters isn't going to be a part of this team, we might as well get an extra 1st round pick for the guy.
  15. Maybe you can answer this for me. I know your opinion is probably biased, but still, I think you've seen him play more than most fans and mock scouts. Some mock scouts are saying that Brown can't take the pounding of an every down DE in the NFL, and that he should only be used as a situational pass rusher. Also, that he's bad against the run. Personally, I don't think that is true. I don't think he's JUST a situational pass rusher. Surely, on running situations (such as 3rd and 1, or something obvious like that) you'd put Kelsay or Denney in there, but I think Brown is not just an Elvis Dumervil or Robert Mathis of a few years ago. What do you think?
  16. I don't think 28, but he's sure looking like he'll at least make it to 11. I think his stock is dropping because of his height at the combine, which I think is absolutely absurd. People watched his games all year and realized he was a dominant force. Now they see he's 2 inches shorter than they thought. I'll never understand how those 2 inches somehow erases the fact that he was dominant. Its not like he played 2 inches taller, and then shrunk after the season. Jesus Christ.
  17. I think we do have an offensive identity, at least on paper. Last year we saw Trent in the Shotgun with 4 receivers a lot in certain games and situations. Our offense was effective when we passed in those instances. I think adding a hall of fame receiver, getting rid of our blocking TE, and adding a RB who played in a passing style offense and who's forte is catching the ball out of the backfield, I'd say we're moving in that direction. Lynch played in the run and shoot in college, or some form of it, also. I think if we add a pass catching TE in this draft, there's no doubt we have a passing identity on offense.
  18. The worst thing (IMO) would be to see the Bills trade up in the 1st to take a tackle (Such as Oher) with legitimate concerns, while losing draft picks. If we traded up for Monroe, or even Smith, I wouldn't be fond of it, but I couldn't blame them for filling a hole with a good/great player.
  19. We all agree that we'd rather have Fred Jackson in there. There's only one problem..... HE'S NOT UNDER CONTRACT! For whatever reason, the Bills haven't offered him a long term deal, and he is upset and won't sign the 1 year tender. As of right now, going into the first 3 games of the season, Xavier Omon is the starter... with no backups. You sign Rhodes as insurance that this Jackson ordeal doesn't go the route Peters' went. Maybe the Bills don't want to sign Jackson to a long term deal. Rhodes is signed for two years.
