  1. I don't see why he needs to be at OTA's. The only thing he'll be doing this year is returning punts.
  2. I'd be VERY surprised if he picked the Bills over Chicago. A good team that has a franchise QB, when you can start on their top 5 defense, with a coach you already know, or...... the Bills.
  3. I'm pointing out flaws in your argument, not taking a side. That is a commonly held view at TBD and in society in general. People automatically assume that because you're attacking their argument, that you must not agree. Eminem does much more for hip hop and culture than being witty or humorous. His ability with words, syllables and literary schemes are unprecedented. He brought literary techniques that Redman, and any other rapper before his time ever brought. A typical verse rhymes the last word in each sentence. That is the basis for a rhyme. If you're really good, you can have a scheme of rhymes that matches up two words, and if you can get three lined up in each sentence, you're a genius. I've found patterns in Eminem's verses where he strings together numerous lines where's he's rhyming up to 5 words in a sentence, with each sentence having the words line up perfectly, all while making sense of the content. Each time I read or listen, I'm finding new ideas or patterns in his lyrics that I never saw before. Throw in there the fact that because he's white, and how he was instrumental in bringing rap to the suburbs. With the white population heavily outnumbering the black, he brought rap back into the mainstream because he brought it to the nation's majority. Rap had lost all of that after the early 90's run, and Eminem brought in listeners who never listened before. All of that is part of what makes him one of the greatest of all time, not just a one category rank system.
  4. Do you listen to any of his music? You must have missed: Guilty Conscience If I Had Role Model Rock Bottom Stan The Way I Am White America Soldier Say Goodbye Sing for the Moment Hailie's Song Till I Collapse Never Enough Yellow Brick Road Mosh Mockingbird Among many others.
  5. Can you explain how he's lacking in versatility and content?
  6. Do you know how stupid you sound? Anybody who is the greatest anything who ever lived is better than a dime-a-dozen message board hack like yourself. Especially when they've made more money than you'll ever see in your lifetime. What do you excel at? Whatever it is, I bet there's an unfathomable list of people who can do it better than you can. What a loser response... someone in a dark room of their house on a computer at midnight criticizing a person who came from worse than you and has advanced farther than you.
  7. Oh really? Tell me who else said he was overrated like you did.
  8. He said extra 4th. You say conditional. Tim Graham says 6th.
  9. The entire world except for you will pencil in Eminem as one of the greatest rappers that ever lived. I always had a feeling you were a little off your rocker, I'm glad I trusted my gut.
  10. What extra 4th? We already had the draft, retard.
  11. I think it is certainly possible. However, if we did that, I'm sure we'd use Jackson instead of Rhodes (we even did a little of that last year, I'll never forget that Charger game where we ran a sweep around the end with Marshawn, Fred was the lead blocker and literally plastered Quentin Jammer on his ass).
  12. So you've watched every FB in the NFL, and have analyzed how well each of them block. So why are you asking the question, "Is Corey McIntyre the worst fullback in the NFL" to a board that hasn't done any of those things then? Sounds like you've already done your homework, and you should already know the answer to your question, based on all your research.
  13. I'd like to know what fullbacks you've actually watched play, and the criteria you've used to determine your statement.
  14. Is anyone else annoyed that we have the same Hargrove thread every week asking if we should give him another chance?
  15. It is to even out the teams in terms of injuries. If you dress all 53, and one team has serious injuries, they can't replace anyone for the game, putting that team at a serious disadvantage. Not dressing 6 or so guys allows for a team to not dress an injured player, and in tern, substitute and dress in a healthy player.
  16. Tim, As we all know, Patriots LB Tyrone McKenzie tore his knee up in the mini camp and is out for the year. My question deals with his contract. Obviously, he is injured before having signed one, so what happens to him? Also, how does that effect the negotiations for his rookie contract that every rookie signs? Do they not take the injury into consideration? Does McKenzie get screwed? How do they go about negotiations now? Loaded question I know, but very interesting, at least to me.
  17. You guys realize he's not playing this season because of injury, right?
  18. Does Skooby realize that NO ONE takes his posts seriously, because they're always wrong and there's always wrong information? Stop posting unless you know what it is you're posting. Jesus Christ.
  19. He stated the statistics for spreading the ball around in the offense. How it was successful with Lee Evans and how it failed with Robert Royal. All of that was building towards his conclusion that it matters what type of players you have in that offense. You tell me how I should work on my "paraphrasing skills" and what I missed in that article, smartass.
  20. Yes, I do. That has nothing to do with what I was talking about, but sure.
  21. Not necessarily. That's the way I'd go, but the tiny Colts defense proved that wrong with their small/fast Tampa-2 defense and winning the Super Bowl. I'd say that their defense (although played great during the playoffs) wasn't the reason for their Championship, Manning and that offense was, but they still did it. I can only dream of the day we get rid of this ridiculous defense.
