  1. Consistently? Wasn't that Trent's first full year as a starter, and just his 2nd year in the NFL?
  2. Most of those guys I shy'd away from because of their age. Pennington, I believe, is a better NFL QB right now than Trent is, but I don't know how long Chad will play for or how long he can continue to be effective. Schaub is consistently inconsistent. It is a certainty that he will miss games out of the year. He always seems to be hurt. That guy scares me. Orton? It probably helped that he's had one of the best defenses in the league. I don't believe he's a very good QB, and certainly doesn't have the upside of Edwards. We'll see how Orton does this year without that defense. Delhomme is a geaser, same for Bulger. I wouldn't take them on their last legs over a young, promising Edwards. Jason Campbell offers nothing of excitement, and Garrard has only played good for one year.
  3. At this point in their careers and moving beyond this year, I'd take Trent over: Chad Pennington Kellen Clemens/Mark Sanchez Matt Cassel JaMarcus Russell Kyle Orton Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn Kerry Collins David Garrard Matt Schaub Jason Campbell Alex Smith/Shaun Hill Mark Bulger Daunte Culpepper/Matt Stafford Sage Rosenfels/Brett Favre/Jackson Luke McCown/Byron Leftwich/Josh Freeman Jake Delhomme I wouldn't take Edwards over: Tom Brady Philip Rivers Ben Roethlisburger Carson Palmer Eli Manning Peyton Manning Donovan McNabb Drew Brees Jay Cutler Aaron Rogers Matt Ryan Kurt Warner And couldn't decide on: Joe Flacco, Romo and Matt Hasselbeck (really good QB, but not sure how he'll come back from his injury). That's 16 teams I'd take Trent over their starters, 12 teams I wouldn't, and 3 teams not sure.
  4. I thought this was going to be something related to those stupid Dos Equis commercials.
  5. Oh, man. I'll be so sad to see that block with black hair go. NOT!
  6. The thread title is clearly misleading and unclear.
  7. Bet she got an A But in all seriousness, I have fights with my friends and brother all the time about the "hotness" of the celebrity women. I just don't think many of them are good looking at all. I see girls all the time that I think are way more gorgeous, and these girls are just "nobodies" walking around. There are very few celebrities who I think are amazing looking. I get flack from my friends all the time because I'm probably the only man on the Earth that just doesn't find Megan Fox attractive. I realize I'm in the extremem minority, but she just doesn't do it for me.
  8. Thanks, man. So the only way to get these tickets is to go to Rochester? That blows.
  9. Link didn't work. I know they said tickets are available on Friday, but what is the criteria for giving them away? Is it just first come, first serve? I heard 3 verizon stores are giving them out, but never could find out which ones or where.
  10. Let's be honest here. "Lame ducked" through the plasma screen.
  11. How do you get tickets to the opening weekend practices that aren't at night? They said visit the website, but honestly, I couldn't find anything on there. Probably just me, though.
  12. You mean like how he stopped celebrating the last year or so because he said his team was losing?
  13. I think, in general, the appearance compared to other stadiums is far below appealing. Seat angles are great, good food, the blue seats are generally comfortable, the field turf is nice, good boxes, but I think the overall appearance is where the Ralph is really lacking. The concrete is cold and gross, the bathrooms are filthy and disgusting, and from the outside, the stadium looks like a division II college stadium.
  14. That was the worst stadium experience I've had. The place is huge, but a decent percentage of people need to have x-ray vision in order to see through the concrete pillars that are everywhere. I found my seat... directly behind one of them. Luckily, it was a preseason game (last year), so there were empty seats and the ushers let us move around.
  15. Obviously the two corners are signed first. We gotta have those.
  16. Anyone else find it funny that the man who invented the way to keep your bunghole clean was named Gayetty?
  17. I did that and Buffalo has no where near the amount of sunny days as Atlanta or Orlando... Here.
  18. This year having Brady back will be a telling year for me. If Brady comes back and they do nothing, and if the Steelers are again strong, then I'll annoint the Steelers as America's team in my mind. But I'll wait to see what Brady and the Pats do again.
  19. Just because they haven't won doesn't mean they haven't been damn close. You can't knock off a dynasty yet when they're still going to Super Bowls and AFC Championship games. They were one of the greatest teams in NFL history in 07, setting records in many categories. They played in the Super Bowl then, made the playoffs every year before that, and played in a few Championship games.
  20. I hate the Patriots just as much as the next guy (avatar), but they are no doubt America's team right now. They have been one of the longest tenured dynasties in NFL history, that is going on still going on currently. They are located in Boston, one of the very first birth cities of this country. They wear red, white and blue. And oh yeah, they're called the PATRIOTS. The name "America's team" seems to accompany a current team that is above and beyond the best. They Cowboys suck and have sucked for a very long time. IMO, the Patriots are America's team until they suffer a severe drop-off and a new team/city takes over. The Steelers are close.
