  1. I think everything in there was accurate. The other guy's take on the DE's vs. our OT's worries me.
  2. Really? You can't believe it? I can. Lewis should have lost his job years ago. That entire organization is pathetically run and it starts right at the top. Ask Stuckincincy.
  3. Offense: Trent Edwards Either Derek Fine or Derek Schouman Defense: John McCargo
  4. Exceptional job, Drizz. A few thoughts while watching: - I didn't realize Steve Johnson's touchdowns were against Ty Law and Dre Bly. - I'm very worried about Langston handling the left side. - Schouman is an excellent blocker. - Fred Jackson is one of my favorite players on the team. - Good luck to Jabari Greer in New Orleans. - What does McIntyre actually do on this team?
  5. I'd say only Bryan Scott. Breakout is a strong word, but there were others that had very strong years (Fred Jackson, Rosco Parrish and Josh Reed both solidified themselves into roles on the team instead of just being there, Kyle Williams).
  6. Holy crap. There really needs to be a screening process on this site to weed out the mentally challenged people.
  7. Not the point of my post. But don't let reading comprehension stop you.
  8. Are you kidding me? Here is his scouting report when we drafted him, the reason he had to move into guard:
  9. Yeah, he went to the UDFA pool. We didn't even call him up to sign him, he kind of just showed up at our camp...
  10. Hopefully they'll know sooner rather than later about Butler. The question with him is the speed rush. It shouldn't take longer than one practice to see whether or not he can hold his own (although we don't exactly have the quality rushers we're going to face during the season). I think he's either got the feet or he doesn't, and hopefully, they'll find out pretty soon.
  11. First of all, Hangman is not a proven veteran. Second, if Butler goes back to RG, Wood will no longer need to be "groomed" for the RG position, since we already have a pretty good one, and young one, there. Unless you want to have our 1st roud pick sitting on the bench for the next 5+ years, which makes no sense to me. If Butler moves to RG, Wood will be moved somewhere else. If Hangartner proves to be good, Wood can take over for Levitre at LG.
  12. No, because when trying to put the best 5 guys on the field, having Kirk Chambers, Jeff Hangartner, and Andy Levitre starting over Eric Wood doesn't make sense.
  13. Wow, those look incredible. When do they go on sale?
  14. Wow. Good thing you have no part in running that franchise.
  15. So who are you sitting on the bench then?
  16. If Butler can't play tackle, what do we do, sit him on the bench? Move him into guard and sit one of our top picks on the bench? If Butler can't play tackle, I wonder if they'd consider this: LT: Walker LG: Levitre OC: Wood RG: Butler RT: Chambers I know they're in love with Hangartner, but would he play over one of your best linemen in Butler, and someone you spent a top draft pick on?
  17. Sure, everyone knows that. Everyone's known that for the last 3 years. It doesn't mean we can do it. Every team tries to pressure Brady, hell, every team tries to pressure everybody. The Giants had one of the more elite personnel groups in the league at rushing the passer, we don't.
  18. It is difficult for us because the way to approach beating the Pats is also the complete opposite way our team has to run in order for us to be successful. The teams that have beaten the Pats (and I'm mostly talking about how the Giants did it in the Super Bowl) was to run run run the ball, wear down the clock, as well as the Pats defense, and limit Brady's posessions. The way our offense has to run, imo, is a shotgun passing attack, maybe even some no huddle, or else our line and Trent Edwards are going to get killed. Running that against the Pats might score some points, but it's going to get Brady more posessions, and I don't think we'll beat them in a shootout.
  19. If you've got 09' or one of the other ones, do you know if you can import your coach in the dynasty mode over to 10' or do you lose everything?
  20. If you know the guy's a good player, then yeah, signing him earlier rather than later is cheaper for you. But if you're not sure whether the guy deserves the contract or not, I think you're better off waiting the year (or at least until he plays some games) to find out whether he's worth it, and pay the small amount of inflation. I'd much rather wait, and pay whatever small amount his contract would go up to, rather than give it to him now, have him suck, and be on the hook for $60 million.
  21. I think that is foolish given the fact they didn't have to offer him anything until after the year and they could have seen how this experiment went first without shelling out $60 million dollars.
