  1. He's reporting information, is he not? I know media people are so damn technical about these stupid titles, but seriously, during training camp, he's reporting.
  2. Actually, I couldn't believe I was admitting this to myself at the practice last night, but I'm really starting to like Ellison this camp. Yes, it is just training camp, but he always seems to be around the ball, and I'm actually noticing him (unlike the games). He seems like a really smart player, or maybe something has clicked, but I think we'll be fine there. Obviously these aren't games, but I'm at least encouraged from what I've seen thus far. Pat Thomas has also looked pretty good to me.
  3. I've been to 3 practices now, and I thought I should point out what they don't tell you in the practice reports from Chris Brown. Anyone who doesn't attend, but reads up on what happens daily, see's continuous long touchdown passes to Owens, Evans, and a lot of other people. What they don't tell you is, that Edwards was already "sacked" on the play and it wouldn't have counted. Walker and Butler get beat almost every other play, at least one of them does, but they just continue on with it like it never happened, and after 6 seconds of looking around, Trent tosses one up and Owens catches it for a "touchdown." The crowd goes nuts. This has happened in all 3 practices I've been to, and has me worried for the season to begin. I just don't know what the coaches are doing. Our tackles are clearly overmatched. Are they just thinking they will get better? I can't understand. Anyone that "goes toe to toe" with Chris Kelsay back and forth, like Chris Brown reported, is not adequate enough to be a solid starter at OT. Bell got beat like a drum yesterday, by guys I've never heard of before. I didn't get to see the guards much, I was usually distracted by the defensive end walking around our offensive tackles or pushing them into Trent's face. Sorry to post something so negative, but it frustrates me that Chris Brown ignores this in his reporting, and I thought someone should tell you. It also frustrates me that when this goes on, and the fans all around cheer as if Edwards wasn't really sacked or something. I thought our offense was pitiful yesterday. The red zone work was embarrassing. I hope that Walker and Butler can get better with more reps... or something, because they are the key to our entire offense being able to run correctly.
  4. I'm not going any further than that.
  5. You might want to let the rest of the team know that practice isn't for another few hours.
  6. Why the hell would I want to see anyone who didn't give a damn about the Bills organization or its fans (which includes me) go on to another team after collecting our team's money, and all of a sudden care and play great about that organization and its fans? He is a scumbag. He gave no effort. I don't have a problem having anyone from our team go on to have success with someone else, because they all seem to at least try their best here. Mike never did. I wish Jabari Greer and everyone else who left the best of luck. Mike is different. He set our franchise back because he didn't feel like putting down the cheesburgers. He didn't feel like working out. He didn't feel like trying. And he didn't feel like playing for his teammates (who worked so hard) or his fans (who paid so much money). If he wanted to truly turn everything around, he'd come to the Bills and try to give them something back (barring we even wanted that lazy S.O.B) for being loyal to him, and getting our GM fired. Fired. Do you get that? He's one of the key reasons another man lost his job and income and has been out of the league ever since. Mike isn't the whole reason, but he's a damn big part. Pun intended. In my mind, Mike is not on the same level as any other player that's ever been lucky enough to put on a Bills uniform. I'd hate to see him go to another team and want to give them everything we expected him to give us. He is a loser, and he'll always be a loser, and he won't get the least bit of praise from me.
  7. Haven't I already discussed why in the last 3 pages?
  8. He can play well for the Bills as long as he wants, but I'm certainly not going to root for him to succeed on another team.
  9. Are these magic grits? Did he buy his grits, from the same guy, who sold jack, his beanstalk beans?!
  10. I'm WHAT? Jealous? I really wish I weighed 460 lbs and failed miserably at my job on a national scale, while pretty much begging for a second chance. Man, he's got the life!
  11. Sounds like you are making it ok for Fat Ass Williams to do what he did. Sounds like you are rationalizing and acting like it is ok because there are other people in the world that do the same thing. Just because people do the same thing does not make it ok. And btw, Mike made a HELL of a lot more money failing at his job than the "everyday people" you're referring to. We should send you to Roger Goodell's office so you can plead Marshawn's case of illegal gun possession because Plaxico had one too, and so do a lot of other people.
  12. I'd imagine the Patriots would be interested, since they were close on a deal to acquire him back during the draft, and now they could have him without giving up anything. Even if we are interested, I'm going to assume he'd chose them over us.
  13. We signed Smith yesterday, so I'm guessing there isn't a need for Caldwell or any other receivers. JMO.
  14. Do you realize that nobody is saying they are great players, without any doubt? Scouts, and us, are regurgitating the facts, which are: they finish blocks, they have a mean streak, they're tough, and they're intelligent. That has nothing to do with ability. It is black and white and easy to see. You either see them finish their blocks on film or you don't. They either have a mean streak or they don't, and they're either intelligent or they're not. None of that is a projection. It's the truth. Based on all of those FACTS, many of us make the hypothesis that in turn, they will be good football players in the NFL. What is so hard about that to understand?
  15. I'm not gonna lie... I'm a little worried you know exactly how many steps there are towards admitting to people that you are gay.
