I dont know which way to go about it, whether to run and set up the pass, or pass and set up the run, but i feel confident in being able to throw against them. I think it might be easier to come out throwing to get that 8th man out of the box and the throw in some draws or screens. I dont know, i can also see us running both downs, getting nowhere, and throwing on 3rd. I think if JP can stay calm against the pass rush, and not feel like he has to do everything himself, we are in good shape. I would however like to see their defense against our 4 WR sets.

It doesnt matter now because 3/4's of those players will have deals and never hit the market, so lets just wait. Also, the season is young, we dont even know what we will need by the end.

Im confused about the above in bold. Was it the staff that told you that and then that ended up not being the case? or is that the rule? If they mixed up the rules then yes, you should be compensated. But if that is the rule, then it doesnt matter why you should be able to get in, or what excuse you have, the rule is the rule. This is understood before you buy a ticket, if you dont like the rule then take it up with management, but dont blame the staff for doing their job. Again, I think you are implying that they told you that, and they were wrong, but just in case I had to give my 2 cents

Does anyone else feel this way. Their defense is awesome no doubt, but I think our passing game personally will rip them apart. From what i've seen from JP in reading blitzes and getting the ball out fast when necessary I think we will be fine, and i think the more they blitz the better we will do. I'll take 4 WR sets and the deep ball to Lee Evans all day. Lets spread this defense out like teams used to do to Pittsburgh.

We have taken the lead in i think all of the games so far, pretty tough for opposing teams to establish a running game when they are coming from behind. If you notice in the Miami game early on Ronnie Brown was tearing us apart, in the second half they were forced to pass and had to abandon the run. If any team wants to line up head to head and pound the ball they can and they will, we are not stout enough against a smash mouth team.

Man, Denney has played at a Pro Bowl level this year, yes i said it.... a Pro Bowl level. Leading the team in sacks, he is tough against the run, forcing all kinds of fumbles, tipping passes that lead to interceptions.... I dont know what happened, but he is doing an outstanding job, keep it up Ryan.

Listen, Ruben Brown was one of the biggest headaches the Bills have ever had. He had so many positives and so many negatives to his game and off the field that it became ridiculous. For the first 2 years in the NFL Ruben was flat out dominant. It was then that he earned is official Pro Bowl selections. Everything after that point was average. His false starts, and losing weight made him non deserving as being called one of the best LG's in the game. I clearly remember everyone around Buffalo bitching that he never deserved those other years being selected, and that the selections were a joke because it was based more on popularity rather than play. Who really pays attention to Left Guards in every game to determine who is good anyways? It's all hearsay. Now we are defending his play. Now, 5 years later, we all know that Tom Donahoe and Gregg Williams were jokes. At the time however, a player speaking out against a Head Coach should never occur. Veteran, rookie, whomever. It splits the lockeroom and he became the ringleader for the rebelous acts against the coaching that year. It was wrong, he was wrong, you take those concerns directly to the coach through personal contact, not through the media or refusing to play on the field. That is not leadership. Lastly, the Bills organization failing to replace the LG spot does not make Ruben's time here any better than it was. Just because we have neglected our O-Line doesnt mean that Ruben is a Hall of Famer. Ruben was old, slim, and it was his time to go.

Every team in the league could be 3-0 if they didnt make mistakes and get bad calls. Thats the difference between the actual 3-0 teams and everybody else.

I dont know, Andre was a great player, and im glad he is on the wall..... but retiring his number? I think thats a little much. Retired numbers are for players that are absolutely phenominal and leave some sort of legacy. I dont think Reed is at that point. I wouldnt retire Thurman either, there is a strong case for Bruce since he has the sack record, but Andre definitely not.

And as I recall, we were in the process of hammering out a new deal and it was a suprise when the Jets signed him away from us. It was a shock and we quickly moved on to Fletcher.

I know at my high school when i was there we had at least 2 of them. They trained every senior and taught us how to use them. Its pretty self explanatory, i mean the damn thing talks to you and tells you what to do, but i wouldnt be suprised if that was the law a previous poster spoke of.
