  1. Welcome, sorry about being in fish country!
  2. That was awesome, I hope the Bills NEVER leave.
  3. He's a really good, underrated CB. Im glad he's coming out, if he doesnt go in the 1st round someone is getting themselves a steal.
  4. Yes, before he was injured he earned the starting position next to Tripplett. He had really started to come on before the injury. I think what would work best for next year is to get a big bodied DT, and have him play on running downs, sharing with McCargo on passing downs, and Williams working in with Tripplett.
  5. Is he really? Maybe I missed him, but I never saw him on any FA lists. I wonder what he will command on the downside of his career.
  6. I think Bowe will be a first day pick. I also think that Bowe is faster than people think, and am anxious to see his forty time and the reaction it starts. A lot of people have concerns about him but personally, they are good concerns from me. They are all coachable things, Bowe hasnt played football long, and he lacks characteristics such as route running and separation. I think once he gets into a coach's hands in the NFL he will learn quickly and that will all disappear. So while he has obvious faults, they arent bad faults. I would love to grab Bowe in the 2nd or 3rd round this year.
  7. So I'm the only one who thinks Dallas will beat Seattle without the spread lol?
  8. Eagles over Giants Cowboys over Seahawks Patriots over Jets Indianapolis over Kansas City
  9. And how does anyone suppose we get Porter? I dont think he is a FA, and is this all coming from the head coach leaving? Seems silly if thats the case.
  10. This is interesting to you lol? Did you not already know this? lol
  11. That's a great point, we have to make adjustments, its just not working.
  12. Nice. We play the Eagles on the road this year right?
  13. I'm sure that's what they said in Cleveland, then Kansas City, Washington, and San Diego.
  14. He really came on strong this year, I would love to have him. Hopefully he wants to get out of Oakland.
  15. It was between Steinbach and Briggs for me, I chose Steinbach... not that we would pay him the money anyways.
  16. Yeah, I like structure, but hate reading threads lumped together with hundreds of posts in it.
  17. Terrible idea. Different events and transactions occur at different times. So what if we sign a FA but its not the week we talk about FA signings, can we not talk about it?
  18. I read that article, and it definitely said that he wanted to move closer to his family, I think near Georgia.
  19. Rubes, An outstanding post, I thought you answered those questions considering all points of view and did a great job. In thinking completely about each situation, I agree with everything you said. Awesome post.
  20. I agree. London is one of the few stand up guys that has played here in Buffalo. Holding one's frustrations in until the year is over is something that never happens anymore these days. He could have easily been a distraction, but instead kept his mouth hard and busted his balls for the players and fans all year long. I hope we can re-sign him, but if not I hope he makes a ton of money elsewhere and only has the best for himself and his family. Thank you London!
  21. I'm sorry but your "quick hand count" is wrong. I dont know where you get these numbers from. I will put a rest to this whole argument right now. Since 2000, on the first day of the draft the Bills have drafted 4 DB's and 7 DLman. That is almost the complete opposite of what you are saying. That's an emphasis of almost twice the amount of DLman as DB's. If you want to go back a ways, since 1990 on the first day of the draft the Bills have taken exactly 11 DB's to 11 DLman. I'm no math genius, but I believe those numbers are equal. A better argument would be the front office not signing their top draft picks when their contracts are up.
  22. Wow, that guy intercepted that.. GREAT PLAY BY EVANS.
  23. No way, if we want to contend for the playoffs next year, this experience for JP against a super bowl defense is important right now.
