  1. I'm sorry that I have to get low and insult you, but my anger is winning, because you are so stupid that I don't even know how to reply or what to say. JP was valued as a late 1st round pick by everyone. Why do you think we had to trade up to get him? Because Green Bay was supposedly going to take him because they thought Favre would retire. Go on any list, he was NOT a sleeper. I just don't know what else to say. There is no way you can say he was a sleeper, it is so dumb that I don't know what to say because I can't believe that statement.
  2. Because Johnson would much rather try and pad his stats in Mike Martz's offense than the cold and snow running attack in Buffalo.
  3. Oh I'm not saying it is, by any means. You said that we are completely set at DT, and I just wanted you to understand the possibility that there might be troubles there, that's all.
  4. Hardy will almost definitely be gone by our second round pick, and maybe even Davis too. A lot of the scuddle is that since there are pretty much no great TE prospects outside of Davis, a team my jump up in the late first round to secure him. You just never know
  5. While I think Stroud and Johnson are great additions, and that I believe Stroud will pan out, you can't completely ignore his injury and the fact that he MIGHT not return to form. Also, we can't assume that McCargo will become great either. Personally, I believe that both Stroud and McCargo will produce, but if they both go the other way, we are in serious trouble and you can't ignore that possibility.
  6. I agree. This offseason was essential for putting faith in our front office; not just because of the signing of Mitchel or the trade of Stroud, or even not overpaying for Johnson. But also, other things coming together, previous decisions that used to be in question, such as trading McGahee, Spikes, Holcomb, and Darwin Walker, picking a QB in the 3rd round last year, and even as far back as letting Moulds walk. We questioned the front office and Marv quite heavily, and now, this offseason, it is starting to look like they were right all along. I have a confidence in them, and in their drafting abilities, that I haven't had in years. Now, we need to take the next step and make the post-season.
  7. Attitude aside (because I don't know what his is) I would have given a second also. We aren't going to get anyone better than him at corner in this draft or free agency. Not sure if he's worth the contract though.
  8. Since when is a legit star in college football mean anything? Everyone is debating whether or not Tebow and Daniel are system QBs, and most people feel they are. That is definitely "taking a chance" on a guy. And how the hell was JP a sleeper? He was a first round pick, and always valued as such. If you thought JP was a sleeper coming out because you hadn't heard of him, then you really don't get out much.
  9. You're not understanding. The value of the picks is about equal, to move up from 17 to 11, would cost someone a second round pick, which is what you have... BUT we are throwing JP and a 5th in for nothing. That is ridiculous. We are essentially giving the vikings JP and our 5th, with nothing in return.
  10. First of all, you nor anyone else, knows what the Bills are looking for. McCree said he wanted to be here, but also wanted to go somewhere where he had the chance to start, and then chose Denver. Obviously, we did not offer him that chance, or he would have been here. And, I said Kennedy as a back up would be a good idea, I said nothing of him starting.
  11. Name me a player who has never been faked out or made a bad play. What do you expect from a backup safety? Do you think we should trade for Ed Reed to be our backup, I bet he makes less mistakes. HE IS A BACKUP SAFETY.
  12. I hate those threads just as much as you do, but I'd love to have Kennedy as a backup option at safety. He's a good player, and hits like a ton of bricks. And those 2 clips? Who cares. Peterson was faking guys out of their jocks on almost every play last season. And the other clip, he made the tackle, so I dont see what the big deal is. He's a better option than anyone else out there, as well as on our roster. Count me in.
  13. Oh, okay, well as long as some guy at NFL.com compares him to Tuck, let's pick him!
  14. Marginal? My god. Royal is the worst player on the team, I'd rather put Hamden in there at TE. I can't wait until that dumb bastard is finally off the team so I can sleep!
  15. Personally, I'd like for us to trade down and grab a WR and also secure TE Fred Davis. I'm hoping that we are in a prime spot at #11, so that if someone manages to fall out of the top ten, like McFadden, or a QB, that someone will be ready to jump up for our pick and make the move.
  16. I said that trading down in your logic doesn't make sense. I'd rather trade down and grab a receiver, personally, I like Hardy the most. But, I was saying that your logic seemed quazi-retarded, in that staying and picking him at #11 means more to Lee Evans' future than he we traded down. I also think you weren't making sense because you say that we shouldn't be investing a 1st round pick in another WR, yet you say you would want to trade down and grab him while picking up extra picks. A little contradictory, don't you think?
  17. If you are drafting a pass rushing DE who's main move to the QB is a bull rush, you've got problems. And I'm not sure, that 20 yard loop to the QB worked pretty well for Freeny, Trent Cole, Tuck, and any other Giants DE not named Strahan. Merling has developed no moves in his college stay. Sometimes, he'll get off the ball quicker than the lineman and be able to run straight to the QB, but he certainly doesn't beat anyone. When he tries to be quicker and bull rush lineman in the NFL he's not going to be very successful.
  18. I like Monk a lot. His biggest problem is his knee injuries, he's had problems with both his knees and has lost some speed and quickness. However, he is still a redzone threat, and as a 4th WR who can come in on third downs and in the redzone, he would be perfect. Anyone who says he has bad hands, please watch his games.
  19. Its actually still looking the same... a loss. I'd take a win anyday. I know you are trying to find optimism, but I would have worded it differently, the loss sucks, plain and simple.
  20. So if we trade down and pick Kelly in the 20's, thats good, but if we stay at 11 and pick him, Kelly automatically turns into more of a beast, and that is bad for us because we already have a beast... wtf? First of all, Kelly is the same player no matter where we pick him. If the Bills think the guy is going to be great, pick him wherever the hell you want, just make sure you get him. You elude to the fact that the plans for Kelly would change based on where he is picked, and that is ridiculous. We need a WR, period. And this crap about its a run first offense, so we should pick a WR later on... pass the pipe. We need a WR, that is our biggest need (besides TE, but none are top 15 picks in this draft). Obviously, the longer you wait to pick a player, the lower the talent level you are getting. So if a WR is our number 1 need, why would we "wait" to draft our number 1 need? That makes no sense to me.
  21. Man, I thought the TBD crash would have banashed these threads and I'd never have to see another one again. Fuggin Hamden!
