  1. Sometimes, with a prospect of his workout abilities, you have to ask yourself why wasn't he more productive? I'm sure someone will take a chance on him, but if he could actually play football he would have been a top prospect.
  2. I remember a lot of Bengals fans were excited about him his rookie year. He looked like he'd be a pretty good player, at WR too. I didn't realize the injury was that serious.
  3. Has everyone forgotten all the cuts that will still be made? Teams will release players when their cap figure is too high, they will release players that are due big bonuses in upcoming months, they will release players after they have picked their replacements in the draft, and they will release players for the June 1st cuts. Everyone needs to relax. Bubba Franks is terrible. I don't want any of the free agent garbage that was or is left out there. Wait for the draft, wait for the cuts, and on opening day you can tell me what we didn't address. Until then, stfu!
  4. What the hell do quarterbacks picked in other drafts have to do with Losman being a sleeper?
  5. I think a compliment to DeAngelo Williams would be a good idea, but to spend a top 15 pick on a guy to share carries? And both guys are 1st round picks? I don't think its necessary. I think they can find a nice power back as a compliment to Williams after round 1. See my previous post about the Eagles.
  6. Don't tell me what teams I follow and what teams I don't. Yes, the Eagles almost ALWAYS take a lineman with their first pick. Since 1990, they've had 17 first round picks, and 12 of them have been a lineman on either side of the ball. I am aware of this. I think they need an OT bad as well. I think they might add another DE in this draft, but certainly not in the 1st round, IMO. They have Cole, Abiamiri, Thomas, and keep in mind they still have Darren Howard coming off an injury, they haven't released him (yet). Don't rule out the WR. They have been unhappy with that position and have tried to get players in there all offseason (Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald).
  7. Too attached? I don't care, I like Trent lol. All I'm saying is he was not even close to being a "sleeper."
  8. For the GM or coaches, you're right. But, Mayock doesn't interview players like the teams do, and he doesn't talk to the players like the teams do, so what "other aspects" change his mind so much? My answer would be, he changes them based on the scuddle, and what everyone else is saying, because if he really felt passionate about his rankings, they wouldn't change every week.
  9. I'm sorry, but I just can't help but notice that this guy knows nothing about football. He's got... 13. Carolina Panthers — RB Jonathan Stewart, Oregon (The panthers drafted DeAngelo Williams in the 1st round and like him a lot, I don't think they would take a RB in the 1st round, maybe after for depth). 19. Philadelphia Eagles — DE Phillip Merling, Clemson (This pick makes NO sense, at all. The Eagles love Trent Cole, Abyiamiri or whatever, and Jaqua Thomas. They need a WR bad, LBers bad, and Safeties bad. The DL is their biggest strength). 31. New York Giants — CB Patrick Lee, Auburn (First of all, the Giants have no LBers, and their corners are Aaron Ross, Jason Webster, and Sam Madison. There is no way in hell the Giants are going corner in the 1st freaking round. And, if hell freezes over and they do go corner, it most CERTAINLY would not be Patrick Lee. That guy is rated as a second day pick). I chose the worst 3, but I don't agree with a lot of the guy's picks.
  10. Just wondering... do you pause to breath while you talk?
  11. Character aside, if the Bills wanted Hall, the 2nd rounder wasn't the problem, it was the huge contract the Raiders are reportedly going to sign him to.
  12. Man, that guy is fast, and it seems like he doesn't care where the ball is, he's coming down with it. Originally, I thought we'd look for a bigger, more physical receiver, but maybe that is the role that Teyo Johnson and Courtney Anderson will play. Who knows, maybe with those two big guys, we don't necessarily need a ginormous, hulking receiver. He looks like he will be a better pro than Kelly or Sweed. He and Hardy are my top two.
  13. I don't think there's any question we'd all rather have ours. That guy is a joke.
  14. Thomas at #11? No way in hell. Flowers is a good player, but like we are all saying, we don't need another 5'9'' corner. Also, Caulcrick isn't a true fullback. He is more of a large RB, sort of in the mold of TJ Duckett. I'd be disappointed in this draft, IMO.
  15. I agree. I actually like him on the field, and given the chance I think he could still produce, but his off the field crap that you mention is just not worth finding out.
  16. I semi-agree. Thomas is a great prospect, but not the big, physical receiver we are looking for. I'm not saying Kelly is for sure the guy, but I just don't think Thomas fits the style we are looking for.
  17. I think you are mistaken, I think you are thinking of Darren McFadden. His numbers for kids are right up there with Henry. Hardy had an assault charge a number of years ago, but that was it.
  18. Obviously the Bills didn't want him for one year, but I think Chris Brown's reasoning sucks. It doesn't make much sense. I think there are other reasons, perhaps more logical, as to why we wouldn't want him on our team for a year. I like the idea of having him for one year, not paying him a big contract, drafting a WR in the first round with more potential, and getting Johnson out after the year. But, I can understand why the Bills wouldn't want a one year selfish player who is going to B word for the ball so he can pad his stats for the offseason.
  19. Well then, case closed, you saw a youtube video!
  20. Well if he watches film all year long, why the hell is he switching his rankings still? The season is over, the combine is over, what would make him change his rankings, are they playing secret games or something? New film lol?
  21. I didn't here about Chris Brown's comment. I agree with you, it sounds like a pretty good idea, all I can think of is maybe the Bills didn't want someone out there who was playing for himself? And starting in SF, I don't think there's any doubt that he will. They released D. Jackson today, so I doubt Ashley Lelie or Arnaz Battle would push Johnson out of the lineup.
