  1. I think it depends on the team and what you've already got on your roster at the TE position. For the Bills, I think Dustin Keller fits the Bills' dynamic the best because they seem to like Royal and Co. as our blocking TE, and we could use Keller to split him out wide and create mismatches. I think the dynamic of Royal and Keller would work out for the best. Another team who might have nothing at TE, might look at Fred Davis as the #1 TE on their board, as he is more of an all around TE than Keller.
  2. Great stuff on there. I like the, "Real Men Hate Tom Brady" Shirt.
  3. Well, lets hope you're right and I'm wrong.
  4. Yeah, I'm sure we can trade our 4th-7th round picks for someone's late first.
  5. Lineman (Offense and defense). Linebackers. RB's.
  6. Why are we telling him/her what the board is like when he/she said they've been lurking for a while lol.
  7. The kid was 19 years old. He wasn't a grown man. He made one mistake, and has never done anything before that incident or since. He isn't like Pacman, Chris Henry or guys that constantly are in trouble and just aren't good people. It was one mistake, when the kid was young. You need to let it go.
  8. That is a terrible way of asking a poll. Just so you know, that incident was over 2 years ago. You need to get over it. James and everybody else has. Move on.
  9. Good post. Interesting info. I wouldn't have thought safeties were picked more than DE, DT, and same as RBs.
  10. I just checked his stats for last year. The kid had 30 TD passes, over 3,000 yards, and a 65% completion percentage. He's 6-2 220lbs.
  11. He looks good, but was anybody else impressed with their QB? He makes really good reads in coverage, and with the pressure, along with a quick release.
  12. The real issue that everyone is masking in saying Donte was a reach, is that they really wanted Ngata, and felt we should have picked a lineman first. Since Ngata was rated between picks 10-15, I guess picking him at #8 would have been a reach then too.
  13. I agree. This is a great thread. I think your top priority depends on how your team is and what you need. I agree generally with you, but if your front 7 are set and your secondary sucks, you take the DB. And I'm not making a Bills analogy here, or trying to say our picks were justified, just speaking on general terms.
  14. Oh okay. I thought your post said we could have traded back for Whitner and picked up an extra pick. I don't understand how my post implies drafting Whitner was a must. All I said was he was rated as a top 15 player, and that is where we picked him.
  15. I agree. He was constantly out of position last year, even on that interception. Romo threw the ball way over Witten's head and Wilson, being out of place (should have been up on Witten more), had the ball fall right into his hands. He's a decent back up, nothing more.
  16. Whitner cost us more than a first round pick? Couldn't it be we didnt want to trade down for fear he would be gone by then? The problem is, that is not a fact. How can you say it is a fact we could have had Whitner later on and gained a second rounder? Come on, Bill. So you think that at pick number 15, Whitner is a good pick, but at number 8 he is not? So 7 picks qualifies as a "reach" for you. Interesting. The guy is a first round talent, he should be picked in the first round, and he was. Its not even like he was rated at the end of the first round, he was top 15, and thats where we picked him.
  17. Um, Jordy Nelson is a big, tall, possession receiver with deep speed. Welker is a small, slot receiver with quickness in small spaces. They are nothing alike, and that's not being politically correct.
  18. So you think that trading down a few spots, getting the player we want, paying out less guaranteed money, AND picking up an extra draft pick will make us look like fools? Lets hope you never sniff the war room.
  19. Here's what you do. You tell her that I am also best friends with the kid, and send her over to my place.
  20. I really don't understand why you keep posting stuff about Dallas, Darren McFadden, and the top 5, 10, now 11. I not talking about that at all. I gave you an example already. McFadden won't be there when we pick, we all know that.
  21. Okay, once again, to reiterate what 1gap2gap said, he is talking about moving into the top 5. We are not in top 5, or even the top 10. We are at #11 where the money drops significantly.
