  1. Boy, I'm glad we finally have a thread for us to talk about drafting a WR.
  2. We are drafting 11 overall, what does that tell you? We also have the Patriots in our division, which leaves us having to get 1 of only 2 wild card spots to make the playoffs.
  3. Oh yeah, I forgot. I just can't believe they rate projects like McKelvin and DRC who come from small schools, who face NO ONE in their careers, over a guy like Flowers who comes from a big program, can cover man to man or zone, makes interceptions, and plays the run like a Linebacker. Unbelievable. I'd be wary of small school corners. Flowers can come in and play right away.
  4. Yeah, 29th in pass defense is "playing real well."
  5. I'm sure someone from the Bills' front office immediately called John Clayton to tell him that they want CB McKelvin with their 1st pick
  6. Is that really news? Where have you been this offseason?
  7. The same pass rush that only had 28 sacks last year? One of the worst in the NFL?
  8. I don't know how he's not rated as the best corner in this draft.
  9. Hello..... he was traded to Tampa Bay... who runs the same defense, so we dont need a good corner but they do?
  10. You bastard. Do you realize how much time I just lost on that site? Good job.
  11. I agree. He is the most consistent of the receivers this year.
  12. Trading down and drafting Hardy would be my ideal scenario.
  13. Do you honestly think that trade makes sense for Dallas? Trade two 1st round draft picks for 1, and a 3rd rounder?
  14. Contradict yourself much? You say Thomas didn't have talent around him either, but go on to say they had a great goaline RB and red zone threat in Kellen Davis.
  15. Thomas is NO way better handed then even Josh Reed. All that guys does is drop passes. He had 1 good year, and had to come out of JUCO. He refused to stay in because he knew there was no way he would be able to duplicate his numbers to solidify him being picked this high, thats just my opinion. He scares me.
  16. Huh? He did dominate... have you seen his stats?
  17. I don't know if I could turn my back on a player like Conner if he were sitting there in round 2.
  18. No team should "just say no" to Pat Sims. He is one of the best DT's in this draft, IMO.
  19. One of my good friends works for the Indiana football team, and has always told me that Kansas City has been all over their campus, and all over Hardy. Of course, I told him there's no way they pick him at #5, and they are probably looking at him in case he slipped to them in the second round. He always told me he thought the Chiefs would trade down to get him, I told him he was crazy. Now, KC has the 17th pick from the Vikings, and I wouldn't be surprised if they take him there. Remember, they also have a top 5 pick in the second round, so they can still get a really good offensive lineman or defensive end there if they need. With Hardy at 17 a possibility, and the Eagles looking at Devon Thomas at 19, a WR at 11 no longer becomes a "reach." If we want either of those receivers, we better stay put and pick him at 11. Just a thought.
