Do we retire all good players' numbers now?

I'm going to wait until I see what happens before I discuss what we do here.

I agree. I thought it was a bit over the top to say that now players cant drive their own cars, thats all.

Gandy was a very solid player here. When we moved Peters over I thought we should keep Gandy to play LG (he is a much better guard than tackle). We then signed Dockery, which is definitely a better option than Gandy, but I thought Gandy would play RG (a position he played in Chicago) but I guess the Bills thought Butler was a better option. I like Gandy though. Very solid player.

Sure, to you, and all of us, that makes perfect sense. But just to play devils advocate, can you imagine all your NFL buds pulling up in whatever gorgeous expensive cars they own, while you show up in a cab? lol. Its probably "not cool" by player standards. I understand they have a lot to lose, but I think eliminating where you go at what hour of the night should be the first thought, not if you have a cab to get there or not.

Evans will want that money, naturally, we won't think he deserves that much. That pretty much sums up anything you guys will be discussing during the next 8-10 months.

Why is everyone embarrassed to admit they are upset over this? I'll be the first to admit I don't like it. Is it just a Madden game? Sure. But its the continuing disrespect around the country towards the Bills. Millions, yes millions, of people play this game. I'm also mad that Madden gets paid to do this, but doesn't know how to rate players as good as the average fan. By no means do I think this is a testament to how good the players on our team actually are. I could care less in relation to real life. The problem is, I hate that the Bills players get no respect... come on, look at that list of QBs above!

The #1 was Will Allen. It doesn't really matter who was number one 4 years ago on the Giants, if you think James is a #1 thats going to be the answer for covering Moss then you are sadly mistaken about the amount of talent James has.

To me, it sounds like there might be more going on, or something else that the father did to provoke his son. It doesn't make sense that the son would go that crazy just because his father is a drunk mess? I don't know, maybe the father did something that no one yet knows about.

James is a nice depth addition for our defense, but he has never and will never be a #1 corner.

Why do people keep saying James can match up with Moss because of his size? Have they forgotten that there's no way in hell James can stay with Moss? Just because James is tall, doesn't mean he can cover the best receiver in the game. In red zone situations, maybe. But I guarantee if James is our number 1 option to cover Moss all over the field we will get burned. Height only matters when you can stay with the guy and are jumping for a ball.

The guy was suspended for 2 YEARS, the Bengals stuck with him and gave him another shot (which after 2 whole years, I doubt that was something most teams would do), and during the time off he did not put in the commitment the Bengals wanted, so they cut him. How is that no class? After being suspended for two years and having all the time in the world, you'd better have your ass at the facility doing anything and everything you can to make yourself better and prove that you are serious. I don't feel sorry for the guy. For once, the Bengals decided to get tough.

I don't think there's any way to stop those quick slants to Hardy on the goaline, he's just so big.

If McKelvin can step in and perform, we'll have a nasty secondary with McGee, McKelvin, Greer and James. At this point, anything from Youboty is gravy and we don't need to depend on him anymore.
