  1. It is my opinion, and it sounds like it is the Bills' opinion also.
  2. A 3RD ROUNDER? Are you nuts?
  3. Right now, Spencer is better than both McCargo and Williams. I think the more they play, McCargo will progress, and become more clearly dominant and the sure starter. Right now, no.
  4. He would not crack our top 4. And if you're not one of those 4, you'd better be an excellent ST player as the 5th guy... Matt is not that either. I'd rather have a guy to play special teams like Jenkins than Jones, who wouldn't see the field anyway.
  5. I don't really know what this post actually means. I also don't understand why that gets a " ".... So some guy who writes for a magazine liked Chris Ellis? Who gives a !@#$.
  6. If you watched a Jets game or two, you'd realize that numbers on a terrible offense don't speak to how good or bad a player is. Cotchery and Coles are beasts, period. They had no running game whatsoever, and pretty much no QB either, and still put up those 1,000 yard seasons. Watch Cotchery and Coles, they have great hands, make great plays, run after the catch and block anyone. They also added TE Dustin Keller. Anyone who says they have no WR's is an idiot wrapped in a moron.
  7. Man, you really DO know nothing about the guy. His last name is Johnson, not Jackson lol.
  8. Can you explain how they have no WR's? They have Coles, and Cotchery who had 82 rec for 1,130 yards last year. Their top 2 is better than our top 2... or at least was, last season.
  9. You make an awful lot of BOLD statements that are very exaggerated. Got any info to back that up? How about QB play? Brady, Manning, Manning... does that factor in anywhere? When the bottom feeders have David Carr, John Beck, Vinny Testeverde, Alex Smith... I could go on all day. Razor thin? It is my opinion that we are strong there, and your opinion that we are weak... but RAZOR thin? Come on. We added 2 guys to the rotation that are better than any DT we had last year. Thats a pretty good improvement. I don't know what starting rotation you watch, but McCargo is in there. Why? Do you have any knowledgeable opinions? This is your most ridiculous statement within your post. I don't even know where to begin.
  10. Well then you saw how is aweful talent overachieved and performed adequately in almost every circumstance.
  11. Alexander is NOT an upgrade over Fred Jackson. Not even close.
  12. No way. The Bills Brass told us that we have solid depth behind our starters on the o-line
  13. Agree. I think it is also about the "look" of the player. Poz was drafted at 6-1 230-something, only about 10lbs more than Bowen, but Bowen looks like a WR and Poz has bulk.
  14. Regardless of how good Poz is, I don't think the season is contingent upon his success. And that is what this thread is about. I think Poz will be great, and I almost expect him to. But unlike Trent or Lynch, if Poz has a bad season, the rest of the defense can still make up for the loss. That is the issue here.
  15. We all know that eventually McKelvin will be a starter on this team. But, if we are really making strides this year to win games and get into the playoffs, wouldn't it be more wise to start Greer over a rookie? At least work McKelvin into the starting role as the year goes on (like we did with Clements). If our defense is really going to be that much stronger, do we want to have a weak link for opposing offenses to pick on right off the bat? If McKelvin comes out in camp and takes the job thats one thing, but if Jabari is showing even more than what he gave us last year, I can't see them sitting down a proven veteran to immediately start a rookie. I think the ideal situation for myself, would be to start the year off with Jabari and sprinkle McKelvin in, seeing if he can handle it, and if he can, then make the move permanent.
  16. I think its unrealistic to expect Trent to only struggle "a game or two."
  17. I see what you're saying, but our defense has been so bad that the extra yardage the offense has to overcome from a good punting game really doesn't matter. Its all contingent on the defense getting better (stopping the run, pass rushing, stopping 3rd downs ect.). Without that, a good punting game is just delaying the inevitable.
  18. Its gotta be Trent. I could see Hardy, Lynch or Stroud.
  19. I must have missed Andre's induction ceremony.
