  1. Are you kidding me? Coles and Cotchery are a better set of receivers than we have here, and they have a better set of TE's too with Dustin Keller, Chris Baker and Bubba Franks. That was a very moronic statement.
  2. Walter Jones is coming off shoulder surgery, missed last season, and is 34 years old. Orlando Pace tore his triceps, ending his 2006 season, then tore his labrum and rotator cuff and missed all of last season. He will be 33 years old and hasn't played a full season in almost 3 years. Adams is 32 years old. Joe Thomas has only played one year in the league. Peters is certainly better than all of those guys, as well as Matt Light, and is just as good, if not better, certainly younger, than Chris Samuels. Tony Ugoh? Are you serious? I'm going to pretend like him and Ferguson were not put on that list. Ferguson has done nothing but struggled in New York. He is not even among the top 15 tackles in this league. Ugoh is not even top 20. Jamaal Brown is so good that the Saints were dangling him in trade talks this offseason. Everyone knows you don't get rid of good left tackles, especially young ones. That should speak volumes about what the Saints think of him. Jason Peters is the best left tackle in this league, and if you don't think so (skill wise), you have to at least admit he's the best YOUNG LT in this league. I would take no one over him.
  3. There was a thread about this on the OT board a few weeks ago, anyone who wants info should go there.
  4. I meant with their two headed monster, they will probably run the ball a lot this year, not like Steelers teams in the past don't do that, but yeah... I think you get it lol.
  5. Sweed is behind Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes, Nate Washington and Heath Miller for receptions or touches, not to mention the two-headed monster at RB with Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall. Hardy is behind... well... Lee Evans.
  6. Yeah, I like reading from the one website.... hockey's future or something? Can't remember the name, but they have prospect reports on all clubs and rank each team's top prospects. They give an un-biased opinion, pretty realistic. They do a very good job.
  7. That is probably the most positive piece of writing that could exist on the Sabres prospects. I have heard and read many reports on them, but this makes it seem like all of them will be perennial all-stars.
  8. Maybe he just doesn't feel like coming to camp and hes pulling this crap until camp is over. I really have no explanation.
  9. What do you do if you're sitting anywhere behind where this occurred? They said people yelled "knife" and everyone ran of the bus, but if you were anywhere behind the seat this occurred in, how the hell do you get past him to get off the bus? That must have been scary as hell. What a sick bastard.
  10. I thought we should have signed him a few months ago when we brought him in for a workout. He can play any LB position and is a veteran among a young group. Mitchell and Crowell are the veterans, but if one of them were to get injured, I wasn't so comfortable about who could step in and play. I'm not an Ellison guy, and am not surprised that DiGiorgio is getting the second string reps at OLB ahead of Ellison in addition to his MLB duties. If there is an injury, I still think DiGiorgio comes in at whatever LB position it is ahead of Spragan, but it certainly won't hurt to have an extra veteran around. I wish the best to Bowen and his recovery.
  11. Actually... I really enjoy the preseason games because I'm a big draft guy and I like seeing all the young guys and how they perform. I even tape them and watch them over. I don't even tape the regular season games. I know, I know... I don't have a life.
  12. Mine is: "Brady Sucks Richard" with my avatar logo.
  13. I'll take him twice a year, on a new team, in a new conference, where he isn't familiar with the offensive terminology, might try to overcompensate in order to resurrect his career, a coach that won't put up with his b.s, interceptions at crucial points in games, and a large media base that will be ready to jump on him for anything possible.
  14. Ah, another one. Simpson was not a weak spot, and not "routinely victimized" that year. With two rookie safeties, I'm surprised at the level they came in and played at right away. To see that kind of communication and skill set from two rookies to hold down the back end of a defense by themselves is remarkable.
  15. Do you even know who their LT is? You don't, otherwise you would have said his name. Cue the google search. Here's a hint... don't post retarded proposal ideas, but at least research the guys names that you are proposing in the retarded proposal.
  16. Its one thing to be perceived as an idiot, its another to open your mouth and erase all doubts.
  17. How much of a stalker are you that you look up and notice how long she's not here for?
