  1. Your looking like a Kinks fan to me.
  2. Is that the one by LIttle Jimmy Boyd??
  3. They threw Watson to the wolves and the wolves were better for it.
  4. That pretty much matched my feelings in 1990 and 1991.
  5. Wow, is this line ever true! He seems to forget he was as optimistic as he is now pessimistic about RJ and Bledsoe when they first got here. But thanks for the laugh. It is good to start the day on a laugh.
  6. Somehow I can see the Sunbelt cities tapping into that water source. The Federal Gov would probably accomodate them for the "greater good."
  7. I guess that sums it up, your inability to recognize fact from opinion.
  8. She's just building material for her next book, "Prison Cooking, how to prepare and actually obtain ingrediates when incarcerated."
  9. When Kelly was not resigned, he had no arm. He could not make the sideline throw. He also couldn't run. It was time. Also, that team had no where near the talent the team of the early 90's had. And Jim Kelly was one of the benefactors of all that talent. And the comment on Tasker. Kelly always said Tasker could get open with anyone covering him. So playing him may not have been the big drop off you say it was. One thing Kelly preserved is the image of himself as a all-time great QB. If he stuck around another year I would probably have the same image of him as I do of Jack Kemp. You seem to forget your two year campaign here on how great RJ was. Guess that didn't work out. When they signed Bledoe, it was the same thing. You said it was one of the greatest moves the Bills ever made. Now you tell us that didn't work out. Maybe you should quit promoting JP. You may be some kind of QB curse.
  10. Come on, I don't think that many TBD'ers will show up at your door.
  11. Well at least I figured they haven't won very often. So I thought I would use google and hunt down their performance. Here is the list since 1980. 1980- W, W Loss in playoffs 1981- W 1982 - 1983- L 1984- L 1985- L 1986- 1987- L 1988- W 1989- L,L 1990- 1991- W 1992- W,L 1993- 1994- 1995- L 1996- L 1997- 1998- L 1999- L 2000- W 2001- L,L 2002- 2003- That makes them 7 and 14. So it has been pretty difficult for them to win on the West coast. Consider the travel involved and the change of venue, I don't think this is too surprising. And a close look at the years, shows they didn't do that great when they had great teams and a great QB. So the Bills will be very lucky to split the Seattle and SF games. If they win both they deserve Kudo's, because they haven't done that since 1980.
  12. I thought he took DB out because "they shoot horses don't they."
  13. I just saw the replay on ESPN. You can see it on the original view. And Clements hits the guy going at full bore. Should make the big hits highlites.
  14. I think this is the play that gave one of their DB's a concusion. I think you can only see it on the replay which is at a different angle.
  15. That is pretty close to my feelings on the situation. Too many here think the QB has to win every game. Not one of em in the league does.
  16. I was yelling for JP in the chatroom from 2 min left in the 3rd Q on. Not that DB was having problems but I thought it was exactly the kind of game to break in a QB. Obviously MM does not think he is capable of holding on to a 20 point lead with JP in there. And before you get on MM, remember he is part of the greatest coaching staff ever assembled.
  17. on the return by Smith. I think they had to help the guy off the field. It was just behind where Smith caught the ball. It looked high from what I could see of it but I only caught a glance.
  18. You are correct you said both of those things, many times actually. But you also stated we didn't need him, in the same manner you are now talking about Moulds. If he would have stayed, the Bills would have been better. Yes, I know he should not have been kept for more than he was worth but at a fair price, he was still an asset. As it turns out there was a chemistry in the passing game which was lost when he left.
  19. Actually I think your making an argument for the opposition here. If you know DB locks on to Moulds and is going to throw to him that many times, what do you do? You cover his A$$ with whatever it takes. And that is exactly what teams do. So for Moulds to get free and get that many catches makes him pretty good. BTW, the last time you were pulling the plug on a receiver that wasn't any good, the passing game totally fell apart. You then preached we needed another receiver to take some of the pressure off Moulds. You can't have it both ways.
  20. For those who like this stuff. As usual overcast in CNY.
  21. Thanks for saying that, it needed to be said but I doubt there are many who will actually listen.
  22. I'd vote for Vince Ferragamo. It was so forgettable, it's been forgotten!
  23. Your not the only one who has written this over the last two months. So you replace the guy making the decision with the guy that advises the guy making the decisions. I don't get it. TD is not making choices in a vacuum, he relies on Modrak for input and I don't think TD is going against Modrak when TD makes a personnel decisions. I'm willing to bet they are in agreement on 90% of what goes on.
  24. That HC your talking about is part of the Greatest Coaching staff ever assembled. I just can't seem to remember where I heard that.
