  1. That puck handling event is brutal at the end. It is easy to blow the entire performance getting the puck through the obstacles. I think the order that they list the targets makes it somewhat unequal.
  2. Run Silent. Run Deep. Movie wise it doesn't compare with almost all of those mentioned, but it was one of the great ones from the 50's.
  3. Did you watch this because you just saw something about it on the news? I never heard of this fesitval before, but I saw something about it and put it on my watchlist.
  4. If you don't pay taxes, you should not be allowed to vote.
  5. Someone stabilized the video, and then you can also slow it down in the bottom let corner. https://gfycat.com/DemandingHonestAmericangoldfinch
  6. I was looking for something to watch on Netflix and when I came across this I remembered someone posted something on it. Thanks. It is interesting in so many ways. Almost all of the comments made about it have been right on. So far I am only two episodes in.
  7. This is on Reddit and there is a comment that says he is throwing a spool of wire. It then makes sense that the power is following the wire to the ground. But it also makes the kid an even a bigger idiot.
  8. Does this mean he was at store when he wasn't at the bus station?
  9. Players do have off years and I don't believe Scandella has fully developed yet. In the Lightning game the announcer said Hedman took 5 years to get up to speed and he was a 2nd overall. D-men sometimes take more time, so I don't have the negativity a that a few here have. He also gets blamed for anything if he is within 8 feet of the goal scorer. On the goal that he hit into the net that was falling behind Hutton, he tried to get it out and he missed. If he did nothing and it fell in the goal, he would have gotten the same amount of abuse.
  10. That's the kind of contract Vontae Davis signed but it was 2/16.
  11. I remember him being drafted out of Port Byron High School but never really followed him. Seems there is an entire story on him. https://www.sbnation.com/2014/7/15/5883593/the-many-crimes-of-mel-hall
  12. There are other issues with leaving a TV tuned to CNN. It turns smart TV's into dumb ones.
  13. Is her first name Hillary?
  14. I received a copy of "Revolution in the Head" yesterday and I have been randomly going through it. Lots of interesting info but when the author starts referencing music structure terms I am totally lost. When his "critic personality" kicks in, I frequently disagree with him but it is still worth the read. Thanks so much for the reference.
  15. I was thinking of this when I wrote that response. https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/01/23/netflixs-83-million-new-subscribers-didnt-come-che.aspx
  16. To bad, Sopranos was too early for interactive television. The could have ended it exactly the way they did, then had a selection at the show with all of the ending you mentioned. You could then select the ending you wanted. That way if you didn't like it, you could select another, then another, then another .....
  17. I didn't think the end of Deadwood was the end. I can't remember the end of Rome. For a two year series though, Rome is worth a binge. When you look at what the production costs of Game of Thrones must be, it is hard to figure that Rome and especially Deadwood would have been cancelled due to cost. I have to wonder how they determine what a series is worth.
  18. This is interesting. We use my daughter's account on Netflix. She pays an up charge to have more than two? users on at the same time. So IP tracking can be her, ours or any remote place either of us are at. I have even taking my firebox overseas to use. Since Netflix is a losing proposition, I am surprised they have not put more effort into this.
  19. If it is posted you can guess what happens. https://weather.com/news/news/2019-01-09-lake-michigan-wisconsin-waves-beacon
  20. I agree with Deadwood and Rome. They both ended way too soon. It was rumored that they would have a Deadwood movie but I guess it never materialized. That first year of Rome was as good as anything. I thought they rushed through too much history the second year but since they had decided to end it I guess that is the way it had to be. More Seinfeld's would be good.
  21. Did you have to enter your credit card info, even though they said they would not charge you? The lets raise the rates strategy. The only thing I get out of something like that is more incentive to cut the cord. I have to wonder if they have a program that tries to specify the cost that will generate the maximum revenue.
  22. You didn't give me his full name which is "I love Big TD's." I love that name, especially if you say it real fast.? So I did a quick spreadsheet to put his data in. His lowest number of wins happened three times. Week 3 8-8 Week 11 8-5 Week 13 8-8 If you drop one of the 8-8 weeks, it comes out to 160-78, the same as the final standings. If you don't drop out any weeks, it comes to 168-86.
  23. Tell me what name you played under and I will try to sort it out. I am kind of curious. I did not total the counts on Billrouter, maybe in your case I have to.
  24. The contest is set up to drop your lowest scoring week. You missed picking one week and went 0 for 15. Billsnut who was just above you had a throwout week of 4 wins but as it turns out, there were only 13 games played that week. So you played 15 games less than everyone and he played 13 games less than everyone, thus the difference of 2 in the loss column. I have noticed this in years past, that all of a sudden I had less games played than someone I was close to. Never understood why until I just went through the scoring for you. It helped that you had a zero one week. Also, in years past I have made picks and not had them registered, as once a couple of years past I received a zero for a week I thought I played. There is something odd sometimes when you follow the saved link to play, what you are not really logged in. Now I always go back to make sure my picks are really logged. It is kind of a shame that almost half the group quits playing before year end, when every year a few people can't sign up because we are at limit. And thanks to SDS. This always makes the season a lot more interesting, besides the fact that I can control what teams do just by picking them to win or lose. Some teams always do the opposite, i.e. the Bills.?
