Your level sensor needs to be re-calibrated.?⚕️ -
110 volts will kill you just as fast under the same circumstances. I wonder if they have ground fault protection in Russia.

Drunkest guy ever tries to buy more beer

I don't believe the Miami story. I have read here many times that Ralph is was cheap. Now you expect me to believe he threw a party for fans at an away game. -
I don't pay attention to NASCAR, so I have to ask, is their crowd starting to "age out."

I always thought that Emitt Rhodes was the first to write, produce and play all the instruments on an album. It may be I think that because I heard the Rhodes album first. The album was recorded in his garage. If you didn't know who was writing and singing, you might think it is McCartney. If you like early McCartney, you should give it a listen. Rhodes was in a band called Merry-Go-Round before his solo effort. They had a couple of singles that broke the top 100 but never went very high. My favorite is "You're a Very Lovely Woman." He is listed as a power pop artist. A guy from Rochester, Ray Paul, worked with Rhodes. I am curious if anyone here has heard of either of them.

I'm a documentary junkie, so I find most of them interesting. The fact that many of them were dirt poor before hitting it, the links between Country, Folk and R&B, the skill I never realized existed at the time and the fact that three of the biggest country stars at the time, learned their trade from black musicians. There are even more that I can't recall. Oh yeah, one more I just thought of. The hit that Scruggs had with a song he had worked out with Bill Monroe after he left Monroe's band, with only one chord change from the original. That must have happened before Copyright. -

I liked country music back in the 50's and 60's, not so much now, but Burns has done it again. I found it very entertaining and filled with interesting facts, typical Burns. The part where they start calling "Country Music" Country Music could be listed in TIL. Some of the artists they feature are amazing, and I would never have thought there were so many great ones over the history of Country, and they didn't even hit the 60's yet. And by artists I mean writers and musicians. The 60's and 70's in rock had nothing over some of these guys. -
Dam that is cool.

I agree with this. Trump is becoming the Republican version of Hillary. On top of that he barely edged her out on those last 3 states. I doubt he takes them again.

The programmers who code the machines are far fewer than the number of workers replaced by the machines. If that was not true, the programmers would not be financially viable. Automation is for leverage.

And to think, I wasted one of my "free" visits to the Springfield News-Leader for that.

Yahoo Pro Pick'em and Survivor Leagues
Greybeard replied to NCDAWG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They drop your low score as the pick'em progresses. So if you get a 14 during week 2, you may end up tied for first, assuming no one has a perfect week. -
That's interesting. At least once per month, the local Central NY TV station website I go to, has picks of someone who walked out of the store without paying. The pics they show are usually someone with a television or two. Although the last one they posted looked like it must have been something small and expensive. When they do this, the date of the walk-out is usually two or three weeks previous. I always wonder why it takes them so long. I assume they eventually track these people down.

If you followed the link, read the article and the comments, you would have seen the law that this is under. Theft plain and simple. They obviously knew it wasn't their's. Two weeks ago I went to a Walmart self check out. When I looked down the bill exchange had a multiple bills hanging out of it. I didn't even touch it. I called over the attendant and she took it to the area manager. It was 5, $20's. The attendant said money is left on the machines quite often. A week later I was in again and asked her if someone collected the money. She didn't know as they hand it to the main office. If no one collects it, they eventually give it to charity.
