RIP. He certainly was a great story teller. I really like "If you could read my mind" and "Sundown." The line that really struck me from "If you could read my mind" is, "I never thought I could feel this way And I've got to say that I just don't get it I don't know where we went wrong But the feeling's gone And I just can't get it back" Love can be very fickle. It is scary in a way.

Al Kooper's attempt to merge horns and strings into rock. While this is Blood, Sweat and Tears, it is somewhat different than what they became when they had great success on popular radio, post Al Kooper. (i.e. You Made Me So Very Happy). The singer of this is the guy who sang Steve's song with the Blues Project.

Famous NFL Draft "Reaches" who went on to significant NFL Success
Greybeard replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
First name that came to mind, Bob Hayes, the Cowboy. The Dallas Cowboys selected Hayes in the seventh round (88th overall) of the 1964 NFL Draft with a future draft pick, which allowed the team to draft him before his college eligibility was over, taking a chance that the Olympic sprinter with unrefined football skills could excel as a wide receiver.[9] He was also selected by the Denver Broncos in the 14th round (105th overall) of the 1964 AFL Draft, with a future selection. The bet paid off, due to his amazing feats in cleats. Hayes has been credited by many with forcing the NFL to develop a zone defense and the bump and run to attempt to contain him. -
When I use my computer, I have no problem. When I use my Samsung Andoid tablet, it always starts at the bottom of the next page. It is a PITA but so far not so much that I have tried to search for an answer.

Can one of you, who happens to be a skier, explain what happened? I understand they call this a spruce trap. I expected that to be an empty spot by the tree, where if you fell in and your skis were up, you got suspended and couldn't invert yourself. I did not expect to see someone buried like that. Yes, it is.

For the past 5 or 6 years, I have had MLB. If you are not in a zone that gets blacked out for broadcast, I think it is a good deal. However, I sign up around Father's day. Usually, they have roughly a 50% off deal then. Sometimes they have a deal at Mother's day, at a little bit more than 50%. Keep visiting the MLB site for deals. I used to post when the deal was active, but I wouldn't count on me. This is the first year I am paying full price. Not because I want to but I forgot to cancel it after last year. I'm a Dodger fan, so this is a good way to follow them. It is a bit brutal on sleep though. The service has changed over the years. They have a lot more content now, like interviews and highlights. You can also watch a full or condensed game later.

Was Larry Bird the best 3 point shooter ever?
Greybeard replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Larry Bird, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, had a lifetime 3-point shooting percentage of 37.6% during his career in the NBA. He played for the Boston Celtics from 1979 to 1992, and during that time, he made 649 out of 1727 attempts from beyond the arc. It's important to note that the NBA introduced the three-point line in the 1979-80 season, which was Bird's rookie year. So, his career 3-point percentage is based on his performance over the course of 13 seasons. As of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, the three players with the highest lifetime 3-point shooting percentage in NBA history (minimum 250 attempts) are: Steve Kerr - 45.4% Hubert Davis - 44.1% Stephen Curry - 43.5% It's worth noting that this list may have changed since my knowledge cutoff, as players' statistics can change over time. -

Exactly what does the Head Coach do????
Greybeard replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have wondered this for at least 20 years. I think the results would be better if you get a head coach that is a good organizer, maybe on the cheap, and then hire, overpay, the best OC and DC your can get. I would think the OC and DC are more important to your game than the head coach. -
Old Buffalo Bills Message Board
Greybeard replied to Floridagatorsbuffalobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am not sure it would be archived here, but I have found good articles I was looking for. Give it a try, it takes a little bit of work. https://archive.org/web/ -
I have a problem keeping track of time. Is it April 1st already?

It does not look like it bounces off Beasley's chest. It looks like it bounces off Holland's arm. You have to see the view from the front. https://www.miamidolphins.com/video/jevon-holland-gets-an-interception

I was unaware of the Ponzi scheme connection to stamps. The link that Jauronimo posted is a good read. The one thing Crypto shares with Ponzi, those that got in early mostly made out ok. Those that got in at or after the peak, not so much. In the end the value of anything is what you can get for it. That applies to Crypto, stocks, housing, classic cars, beany babies, baseball cards, etc. I forgot, the Greenback.
