There was a game in the playoffs, I can't remember which game, where the left tackle performed the exact same move that Dawkins did. No penalty. On top of that, the announcers singled the play out as a great technique. I wish I could remember the game but too many playoffs games blur my memory.

Why did the have the Sabres suit up for football to play this game?
