  1. Mine is Bi-Polar Disorder. I either get extremely happy and optimistic about life, or I suffer depression.
  2. Hi, Is anyone willing to sell me the DVD? -Thomas
  3. Please make sure to eat Ted's Hot Dogs. Also, for pizza, go to Gino & Joe's. I flew from LA to Buffalo last year to watch the KC game.
  4. I flew to Buffalo from LA for the KC game in November. My wife and I had a great time! I wanted to share my thoughts on our trip, especially since many of you on this board gave us such helpful suggestions: 1> The people in Buffalo were very friendly and genuine. I could sense that this is a blue collar city, and most Buffalonians we met were warm and helpful. 2> The KC game was the 3rd Bills game I went to (they lost the other 2 that I saw). Even though we lost in hearbreaking fashion, it was ironically the most well-played, hardest fought Bills game I've ever been to. 3> We really need to throw the ball to Marquis Goodwin more. 3> Our first-ever tailgating experience was awesome! Thank you mead107 for your hospitality and for letting us join your tailgate. You truly are the Stromboli King. We especially liked your sausage Strombolis. 4> Niagara Falls was a sight to behold, especially from the Canadian side. 5> My best food experience at Buffalo was surprisingly at Ted's Hot Dogs. Amazing, good quality hot dogs. 6> We loved Gino and Joe's Pizza as well. 7> The women of Buffalo love Kiko Alonso 8> The fans truly love their team. 9> Ashker's Juice Bar in Elmwood and Five Points Bakery were great places for breakfast. 10> The wings at Bar Bills were as good as advertised. The beef on weck was very good, but it was a bit bland. 11> For those of you who like to collect coins, Lincoln Coin & Stamp is one of those rare stores where the owner has a great selection of coins and will give you an honest deal. 12> I still believe that the Bills will win a Superbowl in my lifetime (I am 32). Go Bills! Looking forward to the 2014 draft! -Thomas
  5. Hi, that was me...I applied through the help of somebody on this board - thank you (you know who you are)...But I didn't get it - I wished I did....I did my best though...He was more of a pure data analyst than me. A bit dissapointed...but hey, I'll be flying over to Buffalo tomorrow for the KC Game. Go Bills!
  6. Thanks....I like your quotes by the way....
  7. Thank you! I appreciate your feedback.
  8. Has anyone been to the Martin House complex? Is it worth seeing and paying $15 for the tour? Im not a big architecture person....Just wondering if you liked it, since I only have a couple days in Buffalo. Thanks so much!!
  9. Thank you all! Buffalonians are so helpful! You guys are the best! So much to eat and see in 2 days - wish I could do it all.....
  10. Hey guys, I am trying to decide between Bocces and Zettis for pizza...Any thoughts on which place I should go? Thanks! -Thomas
  11. My story: I used to collect sports cards when I was in elementary school. In 1989, my mother bought me a Thurman Thomas rookie card...I never heard of this guy, but I wanted to watch him play on TV hoping that he would be pretty good so that one day, my card would be worth a lot..... Right when I started watching him play, the Bills started their Super Bowl runs....I fell in love with the team, through the heartbreaks, the joys, and the pain. The Bills taught me about character and perseverence. I've always felt out of place as a fan because I've lived in Southern California all my life, and nobody appreciates the Bills here... But I have a deep love for the Bills....I will be going to the KC game with my wife to celebrate our 1st year of marriage!! -Thomas
  12. Thank you all for your responses and for being so helpful! I'll make sure to look these places up...So many good places to eat in 3 days! Go Bills! -Thomas
  13. Hi Everyone, I will be flying out to Buffalo from California for the KC game in November. This will be the first trip my wife and I will be taking after we got married earlier this year, so I want to make it a memorable experience (it would help a lot if they win the game). I was wondering if you can recommend some good places to eat and also visit during our 3-day stay? Can you share your thoughts on: Best place to eat pizza (New York style) Hot Dogs Wings (do you know a good local restaurant, instead of the big chains?) Nice places for a newly married couple to visit (besides Niagara Falls)? Thank you so much! Go Bills! I'll be at the tailgate (with several packs of beer and chips), so I look forward to meeting you! -Thomas
  14. this is a pretty good view...thank you all for your help!
  15. Hi everyone, I am considering flying to Buffalo for the Chiefs game on November 3rd.... Has anyone sat in Section 335 before, and if so, how is the view from there? There are seats on Section 335, Row 2 (not sure about the seat #) on sale, and I am wondering if I will have decent view of the entire field from there.... Let me know! Go Bills! -Thomas
  16. Hi, I am Bills fan living in LA and am planning on flying to Buffalo for the Chiefs game in November with my wife. I would like to experience the tailgating at Ralph Wilson stadium, but since I dont live in the area and I'm just coming with my wife, I don't think I'll be setting up my own station and making my own food there. I know this is a dumb question, but I was wondering - if I bring a box of beer (24-pack or something) and some chips, do you think I would be able to share that with other tailgaters, and would they be willing to let me try some of their food? I've never been tailgating before, so I was wondering if someone can give me an idea of what to expect as a visitor to the tailgating scene in Buffalo. Again, this is coming from a naive tailgater...I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Thomas

  19. Hi, My name is Thomas, and I have been a Buffalo Bills fan living in LA for 20 years. I have been following this board for 15 years...I would like to ask for your help. I know that the Buffalo Bills are in the process of creating an analytics department, and I was wondering if anyone can help me to apply for a position in this department. I have a Masters from Georgia Tech in Industrial & Systems Engineering, with an emphais on statistics and operations research. I have 10+ years of experience in applying statistical knowledge and process improvement principles to help Fortune 100 companies improve their business operations and maximize profits. Here is my LinkedIN profile for a summary of my background: http://www.linkedin....ive_tab_profile Most importantly, I love the Buffalo Bills. I have been an avid fan since I was in the 5th grade, when I grew up watching Thurman Thomas and fell in love with the team. I flew all the way to Buffalo from California with my brother in 2011 to watch the Bills play at home (if you can see the picture, I am the one on the right). The Bills actually inspired me to become a better person because they taught me what perseverence and character looked like in real life. I want to help this team win - if I am able to work for this department, I believe I can help this team be better. This would truly be my dream job. I know this may be a pipedream, but I wanted to at least know that I tried. If anyone can or refer me to someone in the organization, please let me know. Thank you! Regards, Thomas
  20. Thank you all for your input!

I think I will be going by myself..I was just wondering where I can meet other Bills fans that I could maybe hang out with during the weekend..Are there any spots in Buffalo where I can meet them? Any advice or suggestions regarding this and also how I could make the best use of my time in Buffalo would be appreciated! Thanks, Thomas
