  1. I only used them because they were off the top of my head. I’m sure if you went through every roster you’ll find teams without traditional Xs, traditional Z receivers and slots. I don’t understand the hesitancy for McConkey but the love for other guys. McConkey was one of the reasons why Mitchell transferred to Texas but a lot of people want Mitchell here it makes no sense. You also stated McConkey was a slot early on but now earlier in this thread said he was a move Z now. What changed since then
  2. They are qualifying Free Agents but they have to have a minimum contract of over 2.5 million a year. Hollins contract is up to 3 Million so his base salary likely isnt above 2.5 and Morrow may but I doubt they signed him as a # 3 or 4 LB for much more than the 2.5 million.
  3. Some rumors on the twittersphere are that Levi Wallace is coming back
  4. I think you have an old school mindset about formations and lining up. Kupp, Nacua, and Atwell are all classified as slots guys and they made it work. I get the idea of a bigger body across from Diggs but this is 2024 not 1995. If you have an innovator on offense body types shouldn’t matter. Waddle and Tyreek Hill neither is a traditional X Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel , Jahan Dotson Jags had Ridley , Christian Kirk, and Zay Jones none of which are X WRs
  5. Jackson Powers Johnson is the only Center I would consider in round 1 and I expect him to be long gone
  6. People want to pigeonhole him as a slot because he’s White and not 6’3. Literally all the facts from his game tape, to his testing, to his comparisons put him right up there with many top outside WRs. Do the Bills take him I have no idea but the slot WR not sure he can play outside bit is dumb as hell
  7. Yup I do because we have Josh Allen and we have a draft and it’s only day 1 of Free Agency. We’ll sign cheaper guys to fill holes as this thing goes along
  8. I don’t believe we’ll be better per se but I think we’ll be about the same. 12-5 or 11-6
  9. People always laugh about comp picks but the Bills are now at 11 picks this year and right now 10 picks next year. If your on the trade up train for someone like Adonai Mitchell or whomever they can dip into their pick pool for next year despite not having a 3rd rounder this year
  10. Prob a sixth for Jackson but hey that means so far next year we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 4(Davis), 5, 5(Floyd), 6, 6(Basham), 6(Jackson) I do not expect Hollins or Morrow to qualify against the Bills
  11. He’s played all over the DL in the NFL. My guess is DE and DT flex. He’s big and long enough to play next to Oliver on pass downs. He fills multiple holes with one guy.
  12. WR class is absolutely stacked, the DL class on the other hand isn’t. I’d rather spend the FA dollars on the DLine and S bevayse we are much less likely to get an immediate contributor
  13. I keep telling people we are going to keep most of the 11 picks on the 53 this year
  14. After the combine there is not a Safety with the exception of Cooper DeJean that I would draft before round 3
  15. There are guys in this draft that are going to go in round 2 this year that would typically be late first round picks in other drafts. There will be a guy at 28 worth that pick at WR even if 6 guys are already off the board
  16. It’s not a very good edge draft and even though Kneeland is a mid round type he’s prob going round 2-3
  17. Holy overreaction. McDermott I’m a presser said they are going to have to rely on younger guys this year basically acknowledging rookies will have to play more. If they take a guy at 29 he’s playing and he’s starting across from Diggs. If he isn’t that means Shakir is playing outside. The Bills are going to go WR in round 1 and 4 I bet
  18. He’s a bottom of the 53 man roster who can play STs and be a WR if they are struck with injuries. People need to realize they’re not making big moves and are protecting their comp picks. They won’t spend a lot this off-season but good teams don’t have to
  19. The good news is we should at least start hearing about guys going on visits to see who’s interested in who.
  20. We are officially a team that is going to lose guys and receive comp picks every year thats really what good teams do. We have 11 picks this year to replenish the roster. Next year we already have 7 draft picks and we are currently in line to receive two compensatory picks for next year as it sits right now. Means we currently sit at 9 picks for next year. This is going to be a team that has to draft well and sign guys to one year contracts to rehabilitate and let them go for more picks. Its what the Patriots did for years when they had Tom Brady.
  21. Donte Jackson is a pretty damn good player so it’s not that cheap of a cost. I’d peg Jackson as a 3rd round pick
  22. Poyer is toast as a player. He’s a warrior and will still play his ass off but the speed is gone
  23. Im venturing that Morrow won’t cost much if anything at all and I’m guessing Rapp is going to be a starter which is very low end starter money
  24. 11 draft picks. Really the only thing that needs to be improved on offense is the WR corps and OL depth. This team needs way more defensive help than Offensive help
