  1. I see some people are back to the let’s find a # 1 guy in next years draft drafting between 28-32. Maybe we do but it would take a couple years for that to happen. Look at the guys drafted this year around the Bills pick and they’re all right now slated to have around 4 to 500 yards. Obviously they’ll get more opportunities as the season goes but we aren’t and I said this last year going to find an instant # 1 WR who is 6’2 runs a 4.3 and does everything the top guys in the league do late in round 1
  2. I do believe spending 30+ million dollars a season when you have an elite QB is dumb in my opinion. Just gotta make sure your keeping the cupboard full of younger talented players.
  3. Much like offensive coordinators in my opinion, WR's can be made to look a lot better with a elite QB play and I think thats what your seeing with Shakir. Stick him in an offense with an average QB and we don't say this but I think he's a deadly type of player with someone like Allen. Much like Edelman/Welker were with Brady but may not have been successful in another scheme and QB. I think people are so caught up in the 1300-1500 star WR they will overlook the fact that its okay to have a guy who gets 900-1000 and a bunch of other guys who get between 500-700 yards as long as there are multiple guys who do this.
  4. Its hard to judge the WR's so far. I don't think the Bills have a top WR corps by any stretch of the imagination but they are playing better as a group than a more talented WR corps last year at least through 3 games. Shakir is the "#1 WR" right now and I think he has been fantastic so far. He's just not getting # 1 WR opportunities which he might not get all year because of the style of football that they are playing. I think we are starting to see Kincaid get thrown to down the field(about time) and I hope to see him make bigger plays later on into the season. Coleman is a rookie and he's been not great but again he's had a lack of opportunity and if you look at the stats of the rookie WR's he's been right on par with every rookie WR so far outside of the top 4 guys who are getting the ball thrown to them at a 3 to 4 times clip per game. Hollins is basically a Gabe Davis clone who is getting the ball less (which is a good thing) but does a great job blocking and when the ball has come his way he has caught it versus Davis who had the dropsies a lot. Samuel is the guy i'm surprised hasn't gotten more opportunities. They have used him a lot as a decoy right now and screen guy. He did catch a nice slant route last week for a good pickup MVS is whatever. He's the take the top off guy to open stuff up underneath. I think the thing they deserve credit for so far is that when the ball has been thrown to them they have caught it. That was a huge problem with the Bills past teams. We are efficient staying ahead of the chains and allowing Brady to use the full playbook at his disposal including Allen Runs, throwing the ball to the RB's and Tight Ends to keep moving down the field. As I said earlier, yea I would draft another WR next year. I do think we need another guy and there are a ton of guys to add to the room next year. We will need to add to Shakir and Coleman for sure in the near future.
  5. We much preferred Destin to Panama City when we visited but check em out everyone is different. I think a lot more people are considering moving out of the country simply because it is so much cheaper to get high end property without spending a million dollars +.
  6. I mean things have to be looked at in perspective. Yes I would draft another WR, i'm not going to argue that point but it looks like Brady has put a focus on everyone getting involved including the Tight End's and Running Backs. We also have blown out 2 of the 3 teams we have played and essentially have ran the ball for 3 or 4 quarters so far this year after the games were no longer in the balance so the WR statistics would look better if we actually had to throw the ball. Their making the plays they have been asked to make so far and outside of the Cook drop we have been sure handed.
  7. To me it was pretty obvious in week 1, they were focused on a contained rush against Kyler Murray more than getting upfield trying to get after him. That was all 4 of them. In week 2 against the Dolphins, I think they were trying to get in Tua's face as much as they could.
  8. While I dont think the WR group is great by any stretch, Brady's utilization of the Running Backs and Tight Ends is making our passing game look a hell of a lot better as well as his scheming of the WR's. I'm curious how we will look in another 4-5 weeks after the Bills and Brady's schemes have more tape on them for Defensive Coordinator's to get a look at.
  9. Surprised no one has said Savannah, Georgia yet. Warm year round. Great food, has a plethora of golf courses, near all kinds of beaches and has the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport or Charleston Airport a couple hours away.
  10. I could see Beane asking Milano to take a paycut next year. I mean it’s fair he has been out pretty much for almost two full seasons
  11. If you are going to invest in Jones like they did you have to surround him with as much talent as possible. It’s clear Nabers is a star. I wonder how much better they would have been if they kept Barkley. Having both those guys make you a competent offense that can put up 20+ a game even with Jones
  12. Yup I said it in the game day thread. He’s starting to show what he’s made of the more he has been on the field getting reps. I was very high on him coming out of the draft , my # 2 MLB behind Jack Campbell. I think he is the eventual replacement for Milano but the problem is Milano can’t really be cut until 2026. It’s good to see if Williams can sustain this over more time before going down that road.
  13. Haha obviously didn’t notice the autocorrect as I def do not proof read but I’m laughing my ass off once I saw it The Rams damn it not the Arabs
  14. Clapp is an interior guy. The only interior guy I’d trust going outside is Anderson, my guess is RVD is now the swing, even tho he’s not great on the right side and Anderson becomes the emergency tackle if things go off the rails
  15. I’m not gonna argue a ton here but I would say they should be a couple notches higher. Above the Rams and Seahawks for sure imo
  16. On the outside I knew this was the Grable replacement but we swapped a swing tackle for an interior guy. This must mean they’re going to start working Alec Anderson out at tackle
  17. Kyle Williams Florida A&M
  18. Bills tend to have the Ravens number but the TEs versus our backups scare me. We haven’t met a team yet after week 1 that has a strong TE let alone 2. Close game either way. Ravens 27 Bills 24
  19. If you’re going to talk about Solomon(who think is going to be a very good pass rusher) than you have to talk about Toohill as well. Everyone was surprised Toohill made the roster, myself included, and he has been nothing but great as the # 5 DE on the roster. Not just his sack and FR from last week but his ability to set the edge in the run game has been very impressive to me so far.
  20. Im not talking about the past, I’m talking about the future the way we’re set up. To answer your question , Trubisky is another he got 7 a year from the Steelers. I expect this to happen more in the future.
  21. Usually I like to go over to other teams message boards to see what they were saying but it was sad to be honest
  22. It’s Kincaid and the RBs that make a difference in this offense with the fact that Shakir is getting elite separation.
  23. I actually think Bass has been fine. He had the ugly shank. Outside of that a blocked extra point. The rest of his kicks have been hit solid. I don’t think it’s necessary to replace him rn. Will I still be holding my breath, yes
  24. I think the two biggest things that Brady does is he does a lot of motion to allow Allen to see zone vs man and 2, he gets the RBs involved in the route tree. He does more with them than your basic angle, option, hook up routes. Their running wheels, in the Chiefs game last year Cook catches a seam route for a TD, Johnson catches a Flag/Corner route. I just think the staff allows players to develop and overachieve which I think is a great tool. They’re successful, they get a bag somewhere, the Bills get a comp pick, they suck at new place cause they’re not as set up for success and return in a couple years for less
  25. It’s usually mid season that they see a swoon
