He's not an afterthought only if your thinking about him as a pass catching TE which I realize everyone wants him to be involved there. He is the blocking TE now essentially which allows Kincaid to be flexed out more and be the pass catcher he was drafted and intended to be.

I would argue that Cook is every bit as good as Taylor and better than Dobbins because of his running and catching ability and his durability I think Cook is a very good but not elite RB. He is better than a lot of people give him credit for esp now that the dropsies seem to be behind him for the most part. He’s a great fit for this offense

With the invention of helmet communications fans should be loud right as the 40 second play clock is beginning not as the clock winds to disrupt the coach QB communication. 14 seconds that bad boy is cut off and with everyone going silent count it’s not worth it

Smoot is far too small to be a 3 tech even on a part time basis. The only time they reduce him Down is in nascar packages

The Narrative that Elam is a bad fit for the Bills is true because they play zone but the narrative that Elam is some dominant man corner that would flourish in another system is laughable. He's got great athletic traits. His junior tape at Florida wasn't great even in press man. He is incredibly grabby which doesn't play in the NFL game. He was good on tape his sophomore year at Florida. People need to realize that Elam simply is a great athlete with NFL traits but isn't a good Cornerback in the NFL. As for the 2024 draft class, it is definitely one of my favorites Beane has drafted here. Coleman was a guy I was behind but wasn't my first choice but was an excellent pick for what the Bills do. Bishop has struggled but I had him as my best safety in the draft. Ray Davis was my # 1 RB in the draft this past year. Carter, everyone thought we reached for and he has been really solid for a rookie until his wrist injury obviously. Grable has looked really good in limited action before his injury. Solomon was always going to either be really good in the NFL or a bust and so far it looks like he is going to be really good. Hardy looks like he has some potential down the line. Ulofoshio I thought was good value in the 5th but he will probably never be anything more than a backup here.

Apparently Mike Edwards wants out and I can't say that I'm surprised. I would have liked to have seen him get an opportunity but McDermott and Co. are clearly in the camp of Hamlin and Bishop the rest of the season and letting Edwards go and bringing up another safety like Cine would be an easy transition. Wouldn't expect more than a late round pick swap or a solo draft pick. I mean if he really is under fire than this world is even softer than I thought. He called him a spaz or spastic. People on this board have called him a human golden retriever. Sugar high etc etc. Brady and him are at least solid acquaintances if not friends. Brady is going to have to say a lot worse than spaz for him to get the hook after that mega contract.
