  1. Allen is a freak of nature but Johnson made two very good tough catches on that drive. He deserves just as much credit as Allen.
  2. Scheming Bishop into his strengths at times. Was down as a LB on 2nd down. Had Williams on 3rd down. Similar play to the catch Nacua had last week might have been the same play
  3. I always hate when they stack all the good matchups into one timeslot. These 1 PM games area all boring and uninteresting besides Houston/Miami and the 4 PM window has a ton of great and intriguing matchups.
  4. I've now seen Cleveland's undersized DB's try to shoulder tackle these KC RB's twice and they have bounced off of them for 5+ yards more. Wrap up them guys.
  5. Jameis just can't help himself. He looks so brilliant at times but he always and I mean always follows it up with stuff like that. He was kind of like that his last year at FSU as a sophomore but he always pulled FSU out of the abyss in the 4th quarter but he just can't tidy up his game even a bit.
  6. I know he's not a DT but a guy that I will be keeping an eye on through the draft process is Mike Green an Edge Rusher from Marshall. He's 6'4 250 and might be better suited for a 3-4 but he's a sack artist with 16.5 this year and he is young as he's only a Redshirt Sophomore. As we know the Bills loves to draft younger draft prospects that have not reached their ceiling yet. He has a quick first step and has a good assortment of pass rush moves for a younger guy. He definitely needs time in the weightroom as he doesn't have a power game developed yet but he will most likely be there at 30 unless he blows away testing in the process.
  7. I don't think its a change in philosophy. I can't read what Beane thinks but the vast majority of this board assumes that their draft next year is going to be very Defensive oriented. I mean they need a DE, DT, CB, and Safety at some point in next year's draft in addition to a veteran Free agent most likely at most of those positions as well. On offense what is there really thats a need outside of adding another pass catching threat, backup QB(which they might just sign a vet), and maybe a 3rd TE. All of their needs and focus should be on finding guys that can be developed into difference makers on defense.
  8. Probably see Grable get activated next week and one of the DL released since they are way overbooked on the Defensive line right now and now with Clapp gone that opens up the Grable spot back on the roster.
  9. Better get Dobbs in there if you want any chance Purdy ain’t chucking it 60 yards
  10. Crazy how things can change week to week. Last week the Rams were unstoppable with Stafford just pinpoint and this week he can’t hit anything and the don’t have a 1st down
  11. I wouldn’t go that far yet but I am pretty high on Carter overall more than a lot of others
  12. We are set up for 2026 as being the next contract shift time. He’ll be here at minimum through there but he does have some outs in 2026 and 2027 that are reasonable. Chances are we won’t find a better player and develop them before that time anyways
  13. He’s a solid yet unspectacular player. I get why we paid him when we did but we need more. His best game was against KC but he has been non existent some weeks. We need to overhaul that entire position
  14. Yea I know people will look at we lost by 2 and point to that but we were still punting it back to a team we didn’t stop all game and 2 our defense was absolutely horrendous. Hold them to a FG or two and we win pretty comfortably
  15. Horseshoe up the ass Chiefs just catch every break
  16. All good coaches in the NFL are made by their QB play. Daboll looked like a mad genius in Buffalo and looks like a turn in NY. Adam Gase, Josh McDaniel etc etc etc. Quarterbacks run this league
  17. To me thats great coaching on the Rams sideline and/or Stafford checking on that play. They caught the Bills in what they were trying to do and exploited it. If you want to say that was the wrong move than I get it but we don't know what happens if we drop into zone there either.
  18. Yea, its typical of fans to blame coaches when things go badly. Sometimes players just get whipped sometimes and they sure got whipped today. When I was a young HS coach, a veteran coach once told me the whole town used to think we were geniuses when we were winning titles year in and year out and now they think we're a bunch of dumbasses because we have a losing program. We have literally taught the same stuff year in and year out the only thing that changes are the players. Not entirely the same here but the truth is fans are always looking for someone to blame and the coaches are an easy target.
  19. I mean I'm irritated by the lack of defensive stops just like you are. I don't know if its necessarily an indicator of things to come in the future. It could be for sure but we don't know if this is a blip on the radar or an actual thing. We'll see how they respond against the Lions next week. If they get gashed again and we lose another high scoring game or get blown out then maybe we have an issue but I won't think the wheels are falling off over one bad defensive performance.
  20. Well good news everybody. Everyone hated McDermotts decisions once every 7 weeks. Today and against the Texans. If he keeps up that pace it will be in the Super Bowl
  21. I agree with all of this. Thank you.
  22. Yup I agree with you, Houston isn't a threat and Pittsburgh is but that final stretch of @ Philly, @Baltimore, KC, Cinci is a tough final stretch. They could go 0-4 but even at best I think 2-2
  23. I think we are still a lock for the # 2 seed. Pittsburgh is tied with us but at best they are going 2-2 with that final stretch. I know everyone wants the one seed and I totally get that but I'd rather be healthy. If it means going to Arrowhead to win the AFC we have done that many times and the crowd and moment wont be too big for them.
