  1. There is literally nothing out on the CB market better besides an injury prone Asante Samuel who prob doesn’t even fit what we do. It won’t stop us from drafting two guys
  2. I don’t think this precludes the Bills plan at all and I still expect two rookie CBs in the draft. One with the 3 early picks and one in the 4th or 5th
  3. They were also keeping 75 DL even more than usual though I think they had what 12 on the active roster at points late last year
  4. I mean can’t say I’m surprised with the options that were available on the CB market
  5. I always thought him running would be the difference between drafted and undrafted. Now I think he will but how high. His size is a deterrent to a lot of systems. The Bills aren’t one of them
  6. I think you’re all underestimating Hoecht a lot. Didn’t have big sack numbers but when he was in he was always chasing down QBs He also was asked to drop 22% of the time and still put up solid sack numbers as a part time starter. He won’t be doing that here you would think as he’ll be going for the QB
  7. Yup was pretty close with my 9.05. Didn’t have the 20 and 10 and his height and weight were lower than listed which is never surprising
  8. The Bills also individually met with QB CJ Ogbonna after today’s pro day. I can’t imagine he’s a QB in the NFL but maybe a DB or WR project with STs upside. Strikes me as a CFL guy
  9. Yes I said this earlier in the thread. I think he was signed just in case Cook holds out and Johnson has to focus more on offense during training camp. Johnson KRs currently for Buffalo. I do not think he’s here to challenge Codrington tho he will get reps I’m sure On another note I can’t believe he’s only 26 it seems a lifetime ago people loved him in the draft
  10. I’m having trouble posting it but his RAS score as of right now based on a height of 6’1 and a weight of 225 he would have a RAS score of 9.05. This is based off his pro day info. His 20 yard split and 10 yard split are missing so that can raise or lower his RAS as well as his height and weight
  11. I hit up Ken Platte the RAS guy to see if he could help us out
  12. Yes I don’t expect much here to be honest. I don’t think this is to push Codrington but I think he is a backup option to Ty Johnson as a KR if Cook decides to hold out that means Johnson will become an even bigger part of the offensive gameplan and won’t want him exposed on STs
  13. @GunnerBill is going to love this one😉
  14. I’m surprised but I’m not that Cooper and Douglas haven’t signed yet but both are looking for that one last payday and maybe they haven’t gotten what they want.
  15. He’s a good player, he’ll get a chance and maybe the Bills use one of their late picks on him but if he does go undrafted I’m sure the Bills will be high on his list
  16. Looking at some of the contracts for RBs, Ty got a pretty decent deal out of the Bills. Got some extra security at 2 years and got 2.5 per which had been high for backup types this year
  17. Yup at this point I’m think one of the premium picks and 1 of the 4th rounders are going to CB
  18. Harrison Phillips played 1 tech right around the same size Ogunjobi is
  19. At this point I don’t think Samuel is getting a big long term contract. Probably around 1 year 10-12 million but I have concerns about him for sure even from when he was at FSU.
  20. Will Clapp to the Saints on a 1 year deal
  21. You can’t really ask if he’s done enough without seeing how the draft plays out. Has he done solid so far yea I’d say we’re better up front than last year. Do I want to see them add young quality guys who can get after it with 30 and/ or 56 and 62 you bet
  22. The vet min for 4 and 5 years in the NFL is 1.17 million so they really only gave Hamlin 830,000 over min salary and Gilliams numbers haven’t been released but I doubt he’s getting big money either. This is controlled by the CBA.
  23. While I respect Joe and his work, his opinion is just that and shouldn’t be taken as a given that Bills fans have to listen to at his every whim. I have said since he was drafted that Elam was gonna bust and there hasn’t been one moment that has even remotely made me question that opinion
  24. Agree with this 100%. I do think Grant would be the exception to this just because his movement skills at 330-340 pounds gives you a bit of both but year their going to take a 1T who plays in the 305-315 range more so than the 330 range.
  25. I can’t believe after 4 years of watching him people still defend him. He was awful here, he wasn’t that good his last year at Florida. He was taken on attributes and athleticism
