Yea i'm tentatively putting a 6th round grade on him so far. Watch a lot of UB. He's not huge 6'1 225 so he has to run at a decent clip. Someone will take a crack at him regardless because of his instincts but I agree the faster he run and the better his agility testing the better the chance he has to go as high as possible.

They need to do something there. Their tackles are bad bad and Kingsley has been a huge disappointment as a rookie

It all depends how he runs imo. He clearly has put a lot of good on tape, has shown good instincts both in the run and pass game and seems like the type of kid who puts a lot of work in the film room. Hopefully he runs well so he has a chance to be drafted.

The one thing I can say about Rex is he is the perfect type of coach and guy for the New York Jets organization. Like two peas in a pod. Will it work, I highly doubt it but they might not have too many candidates willing to jump at that job.

CBS will protect the game. Don't really see the Bills getting flexed to another night game the rest of the season but I guess its possible we get flexed to a Saturday game against the Pats or Jets.

We are also tentatively supposed to have a 4th and 5th round compensatory pick so we're most likely looking at 10 picks next year.

I don’t believe the Bills will be big players in Free Agency next year. I expect Douglas to get way bigger a contract than the one you have offered. I don’t think they resign Cooper unless the deal is favorable to them and 15 mill is fine but I’m not sure they want to go 4 years unless a lot of money is front loaded. It seems Beane has structured his next mini makeover for 2026. He can get out on a lot of our “bad” contracts and with the core guys mentioned in 2026 plus 10 draft picks in 2025 it makes me think we’re setting up to spend our money in 2026 which also just happens to be in conjunction with the new stadium opening

I think someone will give him an opportunity that is better for him than the Bills next season, even as a stopgap starter to a rookie. He'd be smart to sign with someone like Dallas the rest of the year to see if he can show that the Giants were wrong and get a team to believe in him for next year. Raiders would also be a good option for him. One that might not be a bad idea as well is the Rams. Stafford is on his last legs there and would provide future opportunity.

Brownies are going to win this game. Winston has a good game 1 out of every 5 and the Browns have the defense to absolutely stifle a very overrated Steelers team. Browns win by 10.

So this was from Schefter a couple of days ago and didn't seem like a big deal for the 49ers but there are reports today that he started practice this week for game prep against the Packers and left very early in the practice due to the soreness. Something to keep an eye on to see if this is further aggravated or turns into something more than is out there right now. Brandon Allen is the 49ers backup QB and Josh Dobbs is 3rd string. The Bills also have Malik Boyd in the pipeline for minority hires. He isn't as hot a candidate as Gray but he has had a couple of interviews over the last couple of years for GM jobs as well.

I don’t really care either way. The Bills fans have been doing this since I was born in the mid 80s. The person who did it I would almost guarantee didn’t do it with that intent in his/her mind. Their depth isn’t good there you’re correct. I believe I was talking to @GunnerBill about this. Veach doesn’t like giving out contracts to CBS for big money. He let Snead walk. Watson was going to be their Snead this year and breaks his leg. Chamarri Conner was a backup mostly at safety and now he’s playing Nickle for them and McDuffie is playing outside where he is less comfortable. They are a mess there and it’s almost forcing Veach to have to pay McDuffie big money. Watson is a key guy cause he goes back outside and McDuffje can go back in the slot when healthy. Spags does a good job hiding their deficiencies but when your playing an elite QB that can throw and elude pass rush they are going to get caught a lot more often if their pass rush isn’t getting home

I agree that Jaylen Watson is key for them. Spags loves that pressure D and in the past has had guys to hold up on the back end. With him out blitzing it leaves them exposed. I suspect no matter who is injured or back it will be a dogfight like it always is.

It’s a great turnaround for sure but I think it’s highly unlikely they get to the title game. Need a lot of help and they didn’t get any this week besides WMU losing. Miami and Bowling Green are 6-1 and so is Ohio who UB lost to. Miami and Bowling Green play next week. Need Ohio to lose to Ball State and hope the tiebreakers fall your way

I would love to see data that compares his aggressiveness in the regular season to the postseason. I agree he is an aggressive head coach in the regular season but I always feel he tightens up in the postseason. Id love to see if that’s wrong or not

I can't remember the thread, maybe the Joe Brady thread, that Terrance Gray was the most likely guy to leave the organization this year as he has been in a high level position here and its about his time to take on being the GM of his own team. I don't think I specifically mentioned the Jets but I think that would be a bad move for him but I also understand that not many of those opportunities come along very often. Its funny because they lost Gaine to Houston and he got fired and came back to essentially replace Schoen and its very possible that Gray gets a GM job and Schoen could get fired and return to take Gray's role. Plus Gray would come with the addition of 2 3rd round picks from the league.

They did this this year as well. Tyron Smith drafted Fashanu, signed Morgan Moses.
