  1. Smoot is actually the best signing out of the 3 imo
  2. Misses his holes way too much and tries to bounce it but doesn’t have the speed to get around the corner
  3. Im guessing we’re keeping 6 LBs like usual. We know they Milano, Bernard, and Williams are locks Beyond that we have Ulofoshio who we drafted in the 5th and is likely to make it for STs Jones seems to have the inside track at Mike backup Morrow and Spector battling for the last spot
  4. I didn’t say we were going to get rid of him but look at the escalation of salaries for RTs. You’re looking at between 15-20 Mill AAV for Brown.
  5. The playoffs and see what happens. Transition doesn’t mean they have plans of losing more games. I don’t know why this is even a thing to discuss. We are only rebuilding in the sense of going from veterans to young . The goal is still the SB
  6. A couple of years out? LT- Dawkins LG- McGovern C- Van Pran RG- Torrence RT- Who knows (I think Spencer Brown gets transition tagged then is traded or gone)
  7. I thought it was interesting he played the boundary for the Jags. Prob because of Kirk. He’s only had one good year tho. Guess it truly depends on what they think of Shorter/Shavers etc
  8. He has faults I’m not denying that. The Bills have a type of person/player they like. Coleman fit it to a tee. They met with him numerous times. The problem is most people can’t separate what they want in a player vs what the Bills want
  9. Ray Davis is a complete back and he was my favorite RB in the draft. He’s a legit 3 down back. He obviously is a good down hill runner, led his team in TD receptions and his best attribute is he’s a hell of a pass pro RB which Janes Cook is terrible at. Davis was an incredibly smart pick
  10. They don’t really have a choice tbh he’s earned an extra year but he needs to turn it on like Oliver did
  11. We wanted Coleman the whole time. Why is this so hard to believe. Him and Dan Morgan are buddies. Legette stated that he met with Carolina a ton and they told him they were going to take him. Mike Reiss, New England’s reporter said they tried to trade up with the Bills ahead of Carolina. So is it hard to believe that Beane called up his buddy Morgan and told him NE offered him this and if he wanted to guarantee himself Legette he had to throw him a sweetener to move down a spot
  12. I will continuously say this when people bring up the defense. Yea they invest there but it hasn’t just been the defense that has failed the Bills in the playoffs . In the 3 Chiefs games specifically The first year we took an early lead and the better more experienced playoff team overwhelmed them. We gave up 37 yes but the offense was completely shut down in the 2nd half. I might add the Bills offense put up a whopping 10 points in the divisional game against the Ravens The 2nd year they put up 36 and lost. No one after that year was talking about adding more offense they were talking about coaching and defense blowing it. Last year there were blunders in all facets. Bass misses, fake punt gone wrong, offense stalling in the 3rd and a defense ravaged by injuries. Still had a chance to win and couldn’t get it done. In 2 out of those 3 games the Chiefs simply made more plays in the clutch than the Bills. The Bengals game the Bills got dominated again in both offense and defense including Allen being awful but all anyone talked about was the defense getting gashed which they were. They have done everything. Loaded up on offense, loaded up on defense and didn’t matter. Make more plays in the clutch that is how we are going to beat them.
  13. This is unwarranted. Beane has essentially now given Allen 3 1st round caliber players to throw to. Diggs via trade, Kincaid last year and now Coleman. He also signed Beasley in his prime. If you want to say he didn’t do it early enough okay I can hear ya but he has given him good ball players to throw to
  14. They just gave Beane and McDermott contract extensions last offseason. What people want to happen is different from the reality of the situation. These two aren’t going anywhere unless they majorly flop
  15. The Philosophy of this team has always been the same. Blue Collar players who work hard and work as a team instead of worrying about individual status. Good character guys who fit a locker room. Even the Maserati is from a middle of nowhere Cali town where he grew up on a farm and was non recruited
  16. I said it in another thread everyone will bring up Gronk over Troup, Metcalf over Ford and Russ over Graham about how smart they were compared to the front office but I’m sure if I spammed this board over the last 5 years it will be 50-1 on guys like that compared to guys that were recommended that flopped on their ass
  17. I said for months that the Bills would love his leadership and character traits and that he was the type of player they would love because of his maximum effort and doing the small things it takes to win. Most didn’t want to hear that cause they read a couple scouting reports and wanted more speed guys
  18. Just because there were rumors that the Patriots wanted Keon Coleman and that’s why the Bills didn’t move down from 33. Could have also been the reason why Morgan moved up 1 spot out of fear that maybe the Patriots wanted Legette so two friends helped each other out
  19. I mean that’s what you do with 1st round picks you expect them to take steps. If Kincaid didn’t take a step with Diggs we would have been in trouble. Coleman would have been a first rounder if we didn’t trade down. The idea was we never gave Allen legit high draft weapons. He now has two essential 1st round picks to throw to and we might give him another high end one next year whether in the first or second
  20. This is what I was saying about him pre draft , FSU relied on basically a jump ball offense and very rarely threw anything but a screen or go ball to him. I think he is capable of way more than that when people talk about his lack of route tree it’s just he wasn’t asked to Told everyone that every defense in the country is going to see that on tape and adjust to it causing a lack of separation. Look at the LSU TD he wins in contested fashion in the opener over Major Burns. Any NFL team would have adjusted as Burns is literally 12 yards off Coleman but they still throw it up to him for the TD instead of adjusting to a slant
  21. Oh I have no doubt. He's 20 years old there is no one here who can say they were maxed out in their profession at that age. Most hadn't even started it.
  22. He’s going to have to be better at contested catches to win vertically but I believe he will eat in the intermediate middle of the field as a pro and I don’t mean from the slot
  23. It would have been the same freaking out. The Bills would have taken Coleman at 28, fans would be pissed, the Chiefs would have taken Worthy and still complained about how we let the Chiefs take him after us. The only difference was we wouldn’t have DeWayne Carter and the Chiefs would have taken someone different than Jaden Hicks
  24. I was high on Hamler coming out. He has failed to this point no doubt but he was stuck behind Jeudy and Sutton and then on top of that has had nothing but horrible QB play. I remember the game where he got incredibly frustrated as he was wide open in the EZ and QB threw it somewhere else. I have low expectations but he is the type of dart throw I love especially when Allen is now the QB
