  1. Might get a little flak for this because we're still in season but I'm all for it. I wont get into who's # 1 vs # 4 in the priority list but I believe the Bills will try to re-sign Rousseau, Benford, Shakir, and Bernard. Cook might be playing himself into a contract but not sure how high the Bills will go to retain him. I expect Douglas to walk for sure and I think they will offer Cooper a contract and we'll see if his happy to just be winning schtick is for real or not but seems like a genuine likable guy who cares about it more than stats. We shall see. As for the draft, its very early because we dont have a clear picture of who is declaring yet but my priorities for the Bills are High Priority: Defensive End Defensive Tackle Cornerback Medium Priority: Wide Receiver Linebacker Safety Low Priority: Tight End Running Back Backup QB I have not done a full fledged scout obviously as its still early and we don't have near enough information yet on prospects but some players I like are: Mike Green DE Marshall Danny Stutsman LB Oklahoma Jordan Burch DE/DT Oregon Nic Scourton DE Texas A&M Andrew Mukuba SAF Texas Mason Taylor TE LSU (Can return to school) Shavon Revel CB East Carolina (Wouldn't make it to Bills pick but got seriously injured so there is a chance) Tre Harris WR Miss Tory Horton WR Colorado State Omarion Hampton RB North Carolina Fadil Diggs DE Syracuse Jackson Woodard LB UNLV
  2. I think he will be a solid NFL QB. They lack pretty much everything else besides secondary players. I think they will be the next team to challenge the Bills for the division but it will be in a couple of years. I wasn't as high on Maye as many others and compared him to Darnold but Darnold aint been so bad this year for the Vikings lol.
  3. Give me Cook Rousseau Bass
  4. I agree that Douglas play has dropped off as well. I'm hoping its just a blip but I would much rather see Douglas out there than watch Elam out there in playoff time. The teams starting CB is not on the current roster next year
  5. I think the Bills remember last year against the Chiefs and dont want a repeat of that and feel that they can get by the Patriots and the Jets without forcing our main guys that are nicked to play heavy reps in these games. Almost got caught today but we didn't. I suspect if this was a more important game a lot of the injured guys would have played today.
  6. Part of CB play is to be able to track a football and make a play on it. You know who he reminds me of. Leodis McKelvin. Had all the athleticism in the world and could hang with any WR in the game but when it was him and the WR with the ball in the air the WR was going to come away with it the vast majority of the time.
  7. The TD and the two Pass Interference calls he was in man coverage.
  8. Yup said as much to another poster just above this post.
  9. This is why the Elam should play more stuff wont stop until he is off this roster. Then there will still be the occasional post here after he's moved on when he makes one play every half a season about how we should have never let him go.
  10. We did come out flat I agree with you there. I am a former coach, I don't care how you win the goal is to win. You don't always like how it happens or how it goes but we won. The Ravens have lost games like this this year, so have the Steelers, The Chiefs win games like this all the time( though I understand they get the benefit of the doubt). We beat the Jets earlier in the year mostly by luck but guess what bad football teams find ways to lose and good football teams find ways to win.
  11. The thing is games like this happen. We can't expect to score 30 points every game and be flawless on offense and defense. We have been so good offensively lately that I get that is the expectation but Mayo played incredibly soft and the Bills really should have gotten in there and ran the ball. Plus you can tell that Josh Allen felt this was a game that he shouldn't take off and run to make plays when there was nothing there and he still ended up getting a funny bone or whatever it is. The defense struggled in the first half and the offense struggled all game but the end result is we won. Was it pretty? No...Should you be happy we barely beat a 3-12 football team ? No but we did win the football game and all that matters is the W in the column.
  12. I will just say I could care less if Allen wins the MVP award. Its a nice feather but the only thing I care about it is the Lombardi trophy. I see on X all the back and forth between Bills and Ravens fans and its really eye roll worthy the back and forth as if at the end of the day it matters if neither team wins a trophy.
  13. Say it with me folks, the defense won us this football game.....or patriots mistakes. Whichever it is is fine by me.
  14. Boy Chiefs fans must be miserable winning games like this every week.
  15. The result is fine. The risk of pitching a ball backwards in 9 degree weather is stupid when you can just turn and give it.
  16. Yea we can stop pitching the ball just turn and hand it off. I get it it wastes a tick more but the risk aint worth the reward.
  17. Looks like the Dolphins stay alive for another week. If you don't want the Bengals, the Colts and Dolphins winning today was a big help for that.
  18. Interesting that they have had Bishop manning up on Tight Ends and blitzing. Its like they have gone back to what he did as a college player and they are utilizing that versus putting him in deep all the time. Flop job by the WR by the way.
  19. See this is what I don't like. We talk about protecting players with an independent 3rd eye for head injuries yet Maye holds his head and shakes it and looks like he got some cobwebs yet isn't told to go off the field.
  20. For as much crap as people were giving the defense in the first half, they are the reason we are going to win this game in the 2nd half. Call it Patriot offensive mistakes, rookie QB, or just straight up dumb luck but the defense ended up winning us this football game.
  21. Lets just hope that Allen didn't break his other hand. Thats the important one. Poor Rousseau had an easy one and didn't fall on it.
  22. Mayo taking a page out of the Belichick playbook. Drop everyone out plays really soft zone and make the Bills matriculate down the field without making mistakes just begging the Bills to run the ball.
