  1. Yea someone else posted something idk kind of similar and I said this is the one team where the franchise QB wont win that battle when it comes to players and finances.
  2. Yes it was bitter cold and I usually sit in the lower bowl but I brought my gf/now wife to the game and bought extra tickets and we were in the upper bowl and the cold was unbearable but the game was worse.
  3. Had to actually look it up to remember Jets/Bills game in 1993 where it was 9 degrees with a wind chill of minus 28 Raiders/Bills Divisional game 1994 0 degrees with a chill of -32 2021 Bills Patriots Wind Game was pretty bad and I was much older Bills Browns 2008 MNF game. Two awful teams I missed the pleasure of the WC game against the Pats, the Colts game, The Giants game etc. Call me soft but as i've gotten older If I knew the weather was going to be absolute *****, I more often than not passed on going.
  4. Yea the Bengals need a ton still to happen to get in as the 7. Anything is possible but I wouldn't hold my breathe. Biggest first step is beating Denver but with KC clinched they should be able to get there in the last week. I also can't see the Dolphins losing either game but I suppose anythings possible.
  5. They don't really invest there in the draft that is the problem. They have only drafted 3 DT's in their what 7-8 years now. 2 of them were 3 techs(Oliver, Carter) and the 1 1 Tech was Harrison Phillips and they let him go. They just don't seem to want to put a premium asset into a 1 tech. Maybe that changes this year hopefully at pick 32
  6. Can they? Of course they can....Will they its to be seen and lets be frank none of this may happen. If the Steelers lose to the Bengals(possible) and the Chargers win their last two, the Chargers are the 5 and the Steelers are the 6th. Steelers vs Ravens can go a lot of different ways as we have seen.
  7. I think Reid just maximizes him and his speed. He gets him the ball in reverses and a lot of screen plays. I don't like his contact balance at all though. Anybody touches him he's going down he isn't shaking off any tacklers. He's a good fit for them and now that they have Brown back, traded for Hopkins, etc its opening things up for him even more.
  8. Just get rid of the football or take off and run and get what you can
  9. It’s one thing if they were but the Texans aren’t doing anything at all. LBs aren’t flowing downhill just standing flat footed
  10. Their defense isn’t even trying
  11. I get that but your struggling , going into the playoffs on a multi game losing streak losing to other playoff teams with no momentum sounds like a recipe for disaster
  12. Guess I was wrong Houston looks like they could care less and are getting slapped
  13. The Texans have pride and have not been playing well. I don’t know if they win but I expect them to put up a very strong fight today.
  14. My mindset is we weren’t getting the one seed, I wanted the Steelers to win to hold off the Ravens
  15. I always thought the bigger game was the Texans beating the Ravens so hope for that. Keeps Baltimore in the WC and then would give the tiebreaker over Baltimore for the 3 seed if they finished tied
  16. Guys it was a clear hold. I hate the Chiefs to but it was textbook not even up for interpretation
  17. Jaylen Warren is such a better RB than Harris. He just has juice that Harris doesn’t have. I get Harris was a first rounder but Warren should be the every down back and Harris should be the goal line guy. He was big last week against the Ravens but kept putting him back on the bench
  18. Steelers have decided to blitz Mahomes and play man and they are getting toasted
  19. Wilson should realize he’s old as hell and just drop back and get rid of the football instead of thinking he still had the same athleticism he had in his 20s
  20. I am confused but maybe it was he was acting like he was holstering a gun is the only thing I can think of
  21. I agree I find Christmas to be overrated unless you are a young kid or you have a young kid, which I do. I'm putting together his stuff while he plays with the stuff that didn't have to be put together but I tend to agree. At least today I can watch the Knicks for an hour, and then watch football for the next couple while I still put together stuff before lunch/dinner gets done.
  22. With Diggs and Dell out, they have Collins and a bunch of #4 and # 5 guys. Robert Woods is essentially done, Xavier Hutchinson had a huge opportunity early in the year when Collins was out and couldn't get open, Metchie has had small flashes but not really done a whole lot illness notwithstanding. Makes sense to pick up a guy like Johnson and hope he can recapture a little bit of that Steelers magic he had on basically a couple of week contract. They are going nowhere if everyone is doubling Collins and the other guys are the only options.
