  1. I’d like to see Harrison away from the Cardinals. He looks completely checked out there. Yes Murray put that one on him but Murray is such an overrated passer he isn’t going to get the consistent target he needs to be successful there. Never been a fan of Murray and that team will never go anywhere with him as their Quarterback
  2. I would too if my Running back was on pace for 5.5 yards per carry and 1,600 yards rushing. He’s also on pace for 2,000 scrimmage yards. We are a two headed monster, we don’t need to be like the 2021 Bills where Allen had to do everything under the sun to win us a football game. Our offensive line is arguably the best in football with an arguable top 5 RB. I think Joe Brady needs to be quicker with adjusting when teams start to load the box to take it away
  3. I think our biggest needs for next year are as it stands right now: High Priority: IOL, DE, LB Mid Priority: S, WR, K Low Priority: DT, OT
  4. Yes , it was a bad move I don’t even try to play it off and Teller was very good for awhile but his play had not been near as good the last couple of seasons and would argue both Edwards and Torrence have been just as good or better than him for a fraction of the cost. Doesn’t help that we could have had him for 4 years at a high level before those two arrived He’s in the last year of his deal, it’s either re-sign or free agency
  5. The problem is with that is he’s going to price himself out of the Bills range. He will be 26 years old, he was a 2nd round pick, which means he’s in his prime and is going to be looking for a large contract to set him and his family up for life. On the other side, The Bills have committed big dollars to both Dawkins and Brown. They are likely to sign either McGovern to a large deal this offseason or re-sign David Edwards to an above average deal or both. Honestly the best way to set aside money for Torrence is to let McGovern walk this offseason. I don’t see it happening as historically the Panthers and Bills have invested in the Center position well before Guard. Examples of this are Ryan Khalil, Mitch Morse, and McGovern. On the contrary they haven’t invested in Guard at all high level. Then we take into the fact that there is a dearth of good offensive lineman in the league, guard salaries have exploded and due to Torrence’s age, play level, and lack of even good offensive lineman and I’d bet Torrence tucks into the top 10 paid guards in the NFL which at this moment is 17.5 million dollars a year. Far too much for the Bills to pay
  6. I think he’s going to command too big of money for the Bills to retain. An ascending guard in a more demand position than supply. He’ll also be in his prime when he hits the market. Guard salaries have exploded in recent years and I don’t see Beane paying that type of money to keep him
  7. Hmmm he's been traded a lot recently and the Eagles moved off of him fairly quickly after giving him a 3 year deal and now the Texans let him go. That tells me one of two things, either his play has deteriorated to the point that teams no longer think he can be a starter or he's a royal pain in the ass and teams don't want to put up with him anymore. Maybe a little bit of both could be the case as well. This just reeks of when this board wanted Diontae Johnson badly because he had a couple of good season with the Steelers only to find out he was an absolute headcase. I think this might be a similar situation.
  8. Big Nick Broeker back with the Bills bringing back their former 7th rounder. I know some people were upset when he got claimed. Still only 24 years old too so still some time to develop him under the Kromer system. Not surprising the Bills added a LB as well with Milano down and them running really thin at LB with Jenkins now out. I expect Ciarlo to get the call up this week to be the ST's guy.
  9. I think one of McGovern or Edwards will be back next year. I think we'd all prefer it to be McGovern but if they feel McGovern's contract will be huge then bringing back Edwards on a more reasonable deal and then giving Alec Anderson the Center job makes a lot of sense. Can't really franchise tag either guy either since they don't do position specific for franchise tags on OL men and its like 23 million dollars to tag a guy.
  10. We actually had a play like this on our college team but it was on Punt. Snap it to the up back block down on everyone , let the end man through and lead with the wing guy before pitching it to the punter
  11. I have a preliminary list and have started delving into the Quarterbacks but don’t know which ones will declare. Mine will be quite different than the consensus at this point but a lot of information and the rest of the season to go obviously
  12. I think I’m going to go the opposite and say I’m rooting for the Ravens. The Ravens are going to win that division no matter what and I want them to be a top 3 team so we avoid them in the divisional round. The Chiefs already have lost to the Chargers and sending them to the WC round where they could very well face the Ravens in the first round would be super ideal. Ravens as the 3 seed and Chiefs as the 6 with the Bills as the 1 would be a dream scenario
  13. It will be nice if the Lions pull this out with Ravens and Chiefs next week. One of them will have 3 losses very early in the season
  14. Every game is different and sure anything can happen but if you want to be the team you think you are you have to beat the Patriots and Falcons. Falcons will be tougher because it’s a night game on the road but there is no reason a Josh Allen led team shouldn’t handle that. We always have one game though that we look back on and go what happened though , usually on the road
  15. It’s because of big markets. I hate it with a passion. It’s why New York, Chicago , Dallas are always on television. I know each network has their own conference but there is no way Chargers/Broncos shouldn’t have been the national 4:25 game yesterday
  16. Man Dru Phillips blows just getting toasted all game long
  17. I'm just curious when the Saints are going to give Tyler Shough an opportunity. Most likely not against the Bills but you gotta think soon with their season basically already over. I mean basically if we lock in Kamara this should be an absolute cakewalk. They are really really bad and we're at home. I don't expect Ed Oliver or Milano or anyone else who is dinged that is very important playing in this one. This is the time in our schedule to let guys get healed up and ready for the couple of real teams we have to play later in the season.
  18. Honestly, the Dolphins aren't that bad but their not good either and the Jets and Pats might be the two worst AFC Teams with the Raiders.
  19. Blocked FG's galore to change momentum of games.
  20. I even stated to another poster he doesn’t have much value due to his average play and being in the last year of his contract. I said I’d be looking for a 6th rounder for him. It’s more after Hoecht comes back he doesn’t really have a spot in my opinion. I’d rather see Solomon and Jackson get reps in the # 4 DE spot than a guy we won’t be bringing back who is an average player. As for Jones, his play has deteriorated, it’s more of a wishful thinking for sure but I suspect that Jones is retiring after this season. The Bills drafted two young DTs for further proof of that. Jones is from Central New York so I suspect he would rather retire than pack his bags and move for one more year. By him going to IR (again wishful thinking) the Bills can keep him around to mentor, let his body get a break for 4 weeks, he’s still getting paid his full salary and can come back if the Bills get an injury at the position.
  21. I'd say hes probably worth a 6th rounder. Part of the deal to is he is a free agent after the season so the team trading for him might only get him for half a season.
  22. He was essentially Taron Johnson in a 4-3 when he was the Panthers. He's essentially in his prime, a bigger version of Johnson
  23. Get healthy and gel as a team is what they need
  24. I never mentioned Hamlin so I’m assuming I was quoted incorrectly. I also pointed out that McDermott didn’t trust Codrington enough in important games last year and preferred to have Shakir return over him late in the season and in the playoff last year while he sat as an inactive player. I gave perfectly good reasoning for why Codrington could be gone. It’s play GM for the say and what you would do. I’d make Shakir the full time returner like he was for the entire 2nd half of the season last year
