I have been busy today so I've been out of the loop but what if the Browns pass on Sanders with their two picks its possible if they were getting capital for next year's QB class. I supposed Las Vegas could take him but with Geno and so many needs is he really in consideration. Apparently the Saints dont love him so if he gets by Cleveland and Las Vegas man that would make me laugh

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
gonzo1105 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not about starting , they need to feel that Hairston and a mid round boundary corner are good to go. If they take another outside CB that can play STs especially than Dane Jackson isn’t going to make it imo. I’m guessing if they move Tre to safety he’d be a starter or why move him in the first place. CB: Hairston, Ingram CB: Benford, Mid Round pick FS: White, Forrest or Hamlin SS: Bishop, Rapp NCB: Johnson, Lewis That’s 10 DBs. In this case either Ingram or Lewis doesn’t make it. Dane Jackson in real trouble as it is rn because he offers nothing on Teams -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Sounds like a of we draft another CB in the mid rounds and he’s good we’ll move him talk -
Yea I wanna see more guys pissed at each other like Donahoe at Roseman, the Vikings laughing on webcam at the Eagles for taking Reagor over Jefferson or Snead and McVay snickering at their 3rd round grade at Cole Strange being selected round 1 at their presser. Or even Belichicks dog or if you wanna get crazy what was it monkeys that made a pick one year
-
Not even close to a trade the Browns would make. The Bills would have to give up 56 and 62 and the Browns would win it by 4 points so maybe the Bills could ask for a 7th back
-
Don’t think he falls too far too many needy WR teams and Burden stands out in consensus before you get to the Harris, Noel, Royals, Ayomanor group comes off
-
I think if Buffalo drafts him , Emmanwori, it’s to play him at LB
-
Emmanwori doesn’t fit what the Bills need at Safety. Never say never but I don’t expect Scourton to be there unless they trade up like you want to. The moves at 3T and 1 T aren’t necessarily about this year they are about next year because we are old injury prone, not effective, and have multiple Free Agents
-
To me they’re not going to take a 1T until Round 4 especially if Carter is moving to that spot. I think they go 3T in Round 2

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
gonzo1105 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well Hairston committed to Kentucky and stayed at Kentucky so he never portaled in his college career -
I think the difference between picking Amos and Hairston is as simple as they prob liked the kid more and he offers more in man coverage than Amos which I think they will run more of next year
-
I believe he can be a Z in the mold of a Lee Evans

Gonzo Mock Draft Version 3.0 Final Version( Starts on Page 7)
gonzo1105 replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea that typically happens so I don’t beat myself up about it. The only really bad selections were Sanders and Emmanwori and this draft in particular was going to be volatile. If you get 8 picks out of 32 your doing really well -
Yes , thank you last night. There wasn’t one tipped pick with maybe the exception of the Steelers pick. We appreciate it
-
I could see Edge at 56 since there are a lot of guys left, then either take Royals or trade back to the 3rd to take Ty Robinson who I think is another Bills DNA type player
-
I won’t deny that Farmer has met with the Bills a lot and that he fits the Bills profile with his really long arms I just am not a fan of him. He’s, along with Deone Walker are one of the few people that I would hate as a Bills pick. He doesn’t have a good get off for a 3 tech, he gets walked out of his gap way too much for my liking in the run game. To me he’s just an athletic profile that doesn’t play like his traits would indicate. Your taking him based on measurable that you hope you can coach up and that scares the he’ll out of me

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
gonzo1105 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tend to agree my only thought is Johnson can maybe be a FS with his lack of speed but yea it’s a thought that popped in my head. Guess it would really depend on the board -
If they stick at 56, I could see them moving down into the the 3rd acquiring another 4th, then start using those 4th and 5th rounders to move around the board. The good thing is Beane has a lot of different options at hand now with two valuable day 2 picks The Bills aren’t taking a SA guy even if it’s just allegations especially after the beating they took got Araiza

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
gonzo1105 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea it might be overkill and not sure I’d do it on the clock but if one of these CBs is sitting at 56 you’d have to at least entertain the thought. -
Look I love Mike Green I’ve said it a lot. He’s not going to be a Bill and either is Isaiah bond. You might as well wipe these two players from existence
-
A next years 1st round pick is valued as a 2nd round pick in the current draft. If the Bills even wanted to entertain this notion , they may not even get 52 let alone both a 2nd and 3rd for the pick especially because the Bills will be picking in the latter half of the first round
-
Oh good sir I refer you to my final mock where I had Hairston being the first CB off the board
-
First good work Gunner, I fully expect the Bills to get a good player at 56 at a position of need but it might get a touch dicier at 62 depending on how the board falls. I also agree with you TBB about the possibility of another CB in this draft to challenge the roster spot of Dane Jackson and Ingram. If they are truly wanting to play more man coverage than the transition isn’t complete. A guy like a Robert Longerbeam in the 5th makes a lot of sense to me. I guess a serious question I have is do you dare take another CB if a Morrison or Revel is staring at you at 56? I’d be tempted I’m not going to lie
-
I’d say if I were looking at the Bills board with needs: WR: Jayden Higgins, Jalen Royals, Jaylin Noel DE: Nic Scourton, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Landon Jackson, Bradyn Swinson, Femi Oladejo, J.T. Tuimoloau DT: Darius Alexander, T.J. Sanders, Omarr Norman Lott, Alfred Collins, Josh Farmer LB: Carson Schwesinger UCLA S: Nick Emmanwori South Carolina, Xavier Watts Notre Dame. Thats 17 players right there that directly fill a need. We are 24 picks away from 56 Then you throw in guys you expect to go in the 2nd round like QB Sanders, RB Treveyon Henderson, WR Luther Burden, TE Mason Taylor , DE Mike Green, CB Will Johnson, CB Trey Amos, CB Shavon Revel, Ben Morrison, and that’s another 9 right there This doesn’t include 2 more RBs, the possibility of another QB, any offensive lineman , and some other WRs that don’t fit the speed profile . The Bills imo can sit at 56 and get a really good player at a need. It’s 62 that might get a little dicey. If that’s the case stick and pick at 56 and then move out of 62 into the 3rd
