12/7/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Bengals 1:00 pm 2nd Half Thread

I don’t like that wasted timeout at all. Could come back to hurt but I do understand they can’t risk backing up 5 yards in bad weather when you can make it 4 points especially after the Prater knuckleball on the last PAT -

To me they need to retool the first level (again) and the 2nd level. I like some of the secondary pieces, I really do but when there is zero pass rush, it doesn't matter who is covering for 10 seconds. -

I get more upset with all of the resources we continue to sink into the defense without results. I wish someone would ask McDermott and/or Beane in a presser when we can expect to see improvement from the defense when they used their entire draft on defense and spent a lot of money in free agency on defense. -

This is why the NFL "independent" neurologists is a joke. We've watched Higgins head bounce off the turf twice hardddd today and he still out there playing. The moment his head smacked and he pointed to his head he would have been done today. -

He absolutely fumbles the ball before the goaline but I’m not sure you have visual proof at least from the views we’ve seen that it goes through the endzone or over the pylon -

Here's the thing. That might have been incredibly smart by Taylor. After Taylor challenges the TD ruling, i'm not sure that the catch or no catch is applicable anymore. That might have been why he threw the flag. I'm not sure that the catch is reviewable after the Bengals challenge the spot. Would have to delve really deep into the rule book for that. -

He had his head turned, looked like he was playing it and looked like he bodied him too much. I think thats a no call -

Might have caught a break. Higgins probably done for the day, that head smashed off the field after a concussion 2 weeks ago. Probably don't want to mess with his brain. -

We have shown absolutely no ability to stop Cincinnati's offense in the McDermott era and this is no different. Multiple chances to get them off the field in two drives and they have failed failed and failed. -

Can't blame Leslie Frazier for the cushion today boys. Same defense on 3rd down as the playoffs. Also Tre White is getting attacked early and they are abusing him so far. -
People act like that should have been a given superbowl and yes its probably the 1 out of 4 they should have won especially with them playing Hostetler instead of Simms but people forget that the Bills and Giants actually played earlier that season and the Bills only won that game 17-13. The Giants had a good game plan for the Bills in the regular season and giving Parcells and Belichick an extra week plus the Giants offense putting up more than 13 was the difference between the Super Bowl and the regular season game.

He’s an incredibly talented player but he has always been like this even as a rookie. We played him I think in Picketts first start and I’ve never seen such a lazy WR when the ball wasn’t coming his way. He now has his whole demeanor as a Steeler being bad, this coming out about him now, and he was benched when they were in Vegas for missing curfew. Someone is going to pay him a ton of money but it won’t be the Bills
-
I’m glad that Buffalo isn’t giving his release so he can play in Philly. Okay you don’t want to play here good sit at home with your family and “retire”
-
I mean if we’re comparing Slay vs Savage only as players I’ll take Savage. Slay is more accomplished but Savage at this point is a better player. Savage can play ST, Safety, and some Nickel so he is versatile like Ingram but better. If you look at Savage vs Ingram I also think it’s an upgrade

I know people exclude that Hamlin game but he was also carving us up in that game before the game was stopped

Ja'Marcus Ingram claimed by Houston
gonzo1105 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea I figured he’d get claimed. Core Special team guy who is young enough and cheap enough with enough CB tape to get claimed. Not a good look for Beane for being down a DB right now but now that I didn’t get Ingram back im definitely not releasing Slay and he can sit on the Did Not Report list -
I agree with we know what Rousseau is now. He’s a run defending base end that will get 6-8 sacks a season. The problem is the Bills have never had enough sack guys to allow him to just be that guy. If Bosa was getting 10 and Hoecht was healthy and getting 10 no one would care as much about him being a run guy. That’s why the Hoecht injury hurt because you could see the evolution of the defensive front and now we’re back to playing base 4 down

Yup just clicked off base reaction

Big Ben on Mike Tomlin's Future in Pittsburgh
gonzo1105 replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it’s time for a full flush and a restart for everyone. I’d get rid of Khan and Tomlin but it’s most likely Tomlin will be the one to go and Khan will get his choice of his coach. Wouldnt surprise me to see if they tear it down a bit roster wise as well. -
I totally understand this line of thinking and realize it’s sarcasm but the Steelers defense always plays the Ravens tough and second I think Pittsburghs defense has to be flat out embarrassed after last week and I expect them to give their best effort this week. Question is can the Steelers offense put together enough points to pull the upset
-
Are we gonna be like Sorry Ja'Marcus Please come back now ? haha
-
I am by no means committed to any of this but my first and quick clicking without thinking has me at 1. Denver 14-3 2. New England 13-4 3. Indianapolis 11-6 4. Pittsburgh 9-8 5. Buffalo 13-4 6. Kansas City 10-7 7. Houston 10-7 Jacksonville misses at 10-7 NFC 1. LA Rams 13-4 2. Green Bay 12-4-1 3. Philadelphia 12-5 4. Tampa Bay 11-6 5. Seattle 13-4 6. San Francisco 12-5 7. Detroit 11-6 Chicago misses at 11-6
