  1. I think it’s an interesting scenario to keep an eye on. I think it’s funny because I think both team and player need each other. I think the Bills need his speed and pass catching ability with their offensive system and I don’t think that Cook is effective in every offensive system in the NFL. I mean I’d pay the guy 11-12 on a 3-4 year deal gladly but 15 is too much. With that said he has 1 year left in his deal, and then the Bills could exercise the franchise tag in 2026 when they can get out of a lot of their contracts with minimal dead cap. If you have any doubt about Cook beyond the next year or two(if franchised) then take another back to pair with Ray Davis in the future in the mid rounds this year and carry 4 backs. It’s a deep draft and the Bills have 10 picks and a RB might make sense in round 4 or 5
  2. Yup but Rousseau , Epenesa, and Jones are in the final year of their deal. They kept 10 on the roster at DLine usually. They keep those 5 then drafting 3 guys and signing two isn’t out of the possibility to get your 10. If they trade for a proven guy that obviously changes but 3 DL and 3 DBs I could see especially if they plan on getting bigger up front and playing more man on the back end
  3. I think that’s the idea. I see 6 of the 10 picks being Dline, Secondary even with a vet add or two
  4. Joe B and I are pretty similar in our picks. Had the same first rounder. I had 56 as Tre Harris but could see Royals being the pick there and even commented that to another poster and to be honest if I did it all over again I’d probably give the Bills CB Cobee Bryant out of Kansas which is a slight reach but not by much imo
  5. I agree it doesn’t have to happen but if they see value in a guard late I could see it happening but that’s about it
  6. Now I'm not advocating for all of these guys but I took a quick look through Free Agents that we might realistically add and here is my short list. This doesn't include guys like Mack Hollins and players we'd probably like to re-sign. Wide Receiver- Nick Westbrook Ikhine Titans, Dyami Brown Commanders Defensive Tackle- Sebastian Joseph Day Titans, Jarran Reed Seahawks, Odi Odigizuwa Cowboys Defensive End- Malcolm Koonce Raiders, Michael Hoecht Rams Safety- Jason Pinnock Giants, Andre Cisco Jaguars Cornerback- Paulson Adebo Saints, Asante Samuel Chargers My top guy to add would be Paulson Adebo. He's young, he's a great fit and is still young. He is coming off a leg injury so maybe he wont be a huge break the bank guy but he will get pretty good money in Free Agency. If your looking for a cheaper option, Samuel might be the way to go. He will also get a fair share of cash but he's also coming off an injury and his play hasn't been as good as Adebo. Malcolm Koonce is intriguing to me. He had 8 sacks in 2023 and then tore his ACL and didn't play at all last year. He's still very young at 25 and he has major upside. He's familiar being a UB guy to the area. Nick Westbrook Ikhine would be the deep threat that the Bills are looking for and is coming off a career year as a UDFA but its still less than 500 yards but he did have 9 TD's. Think he would be a better player with better QB player. Feel he would be in our range for a speed pass catcher. I don't think we will go after a Safety that demands high dollar but two guys I like are Cisco who is from Syracuse and is familiar with the new Jags coach and Pinnock is a solid yet unspectacular player for the Giants and was a steady hand back there for them. Michael Hoecht is a weird fit for the Bills but I have always liked him as a player. When he gets in he seems to be around the ball and is an all hustle kind of guy for a role player.
  7. He is not the assistant GM he is the director of player personnel and has that title for a 2 years, before that he was the assistant director of player personnel for two years Then the director of scouting before that for 3 years. He was a scout for 10 years before that. A lot of years but not until recently at a high level. Borzongi who got the job in Tenn was the Assistant GM for 4 years, Director of football Ops for 3, Director of player personnel for 3 years, 2 years as the assistant director of college scouting and a scout for 2 years, not to mention 2 years of other admin work. Borzongis resume is more well rounded, has done the same jobs as Gray and higher levels. GMs have a lot more on their plate than watching prospects. Gray is a good candidate but his resume lacks compared to other top guys
  8. I think he’s a legit candidate but there are many good personnel men in the NFL and so few jobs available. His resume also doesn’t stack up all things considered compared to the other guys he made 2nd interviews with in Tenn
  9. The way I’m looking at it is there is a bigger drop of from 30 to 56 at CB than there will be at DE or DT so if we don’t trade our first for a proven defensive player I would lean towards taking a CB at 30
  10. The most obvious answer is Kaiir Elam for a bag of balls
  11. I disagree, I get it that’s what the scouting reports said of him coming out but he hasn’t been a great man corner since he was a sophomore in college
  12. Josh Sweat was already going to get paid but his contract is going through the roof right now
  13. Who knew a crazy pass rush and good secondary players could make a difference. The Eagles do have the most talented roster and have for awhile but with the Chiefs and Mahomes you never know plus Hurts is always a mystery
  14. Devin Neal RB Kansas Omarrion Hampton RB Kansas Laquint Allen RB Syracuse Tre Harris WR Mississippi Tory Horton WR Colorado State Mason Taylor TE LSU Oronde Gadsden TE Syracuse Mike Green DE Marshall Jordan Burch DL Oregon Fadil Diggs DE Syracuse David Walker DE/LB Central Arkansas Darious Alexander DT Toledo Danny Stutsman LB Oklahoma Andrew Mukuba S Texas Cobee Bryant CB Kansas Here was my very small write up about David Walker from September. Called it with him being much shorter than the listed 6'2 as he measure in a touch over 6 foot tall. Powell was also very impressive in the Hula Bowl practices and has a chance to be a Day 3 pick.
  15. I honestly think we're drafting 3 DB's (2 CB's/1 Safety) and we will probably bring in a vet CB as well and most likely a vet safety if Hamlin doesn't return. I mean thats about as much as one team could do in one offseason.
  16. I think the end of the season showed they want to become more of a man team. How much who knows but it wouldn’t surprise me to see a shift towards guys of that ilk
  17. None just make more plays than the Chiefs when it matters. Get younger and faster. If you want to spend some capital on a difference maker than sure but adding one player at one position may not make a difference
  18. He isn’t not even close to Garrett even if he was a prospect at the same time. Garrett was an utterly dominant college player something Williams was never close to sniffing
  19. This is how fans who are casual draft people end up getting mad when they watch the draft and see a guy drop two rounds and cry on here. Most websites and simulators are way out of date when it comes to player rankings especially once you get out of the first rounders
  20. I don’t think you cant do that with our cap situation anyways. If we want to give up a pick or two this year and one next year for a player that we deem worthy of trading for like a Crosby then I am okay giving up a 2 and a 5 this year and a 2 next year. If we have to give up the 1 this year than lower it to a 3rd next year. People tend to overvalue cost but if I can get a Crosby for 3 picks that would leave us 8 this year and 5 next year but we also will get a couple comp picks back to get us back up to 7
  21. Same. I really like Cobee Bryant and he is actually a really good fit for the Bills as a guy who can play man and zone coverage. Not a great tackler but he plays the ball really well and has above average athleticism. I’d consider him at 62 but would prefer a small trade down and take him. Think he’ll go early round 3 so Bills are in no man’s land with him
  22. Thanks, and I don’t think you can say anything definitive about this class right up to the first pick right now
  23. Your ranking matters as much as anyone else’s we all have hits and misses for people who break down film and watch tons of college ball. I agree that I also like Hunter more at WR than DB but I do think the team that drafts him will primarily play him there I got 1- Will Johnson Michigan 2- Travis Hunter Colorado 3- Jadhae Barron Texas 4- Shavon Revel East Carolina 5- AZ Thomas Florida State 6- Trey Amos Miss 7- Benjamin Morrison Notre Dame 8- Maxwell Hairston Kentucky 9- Cobee Bryant Kansas 10- Mello Dotson Kansas Yea I don’t necessarily disagree with you on the upside play. Just think we better have a vet or hope that a mid round CB is ready in case he isn’t fully back is all
  24. He fits the Bills culture and type of player they like. I think if he got released or agreed to a reworked contract the Bills would be interested but the injuries and current salary worry me even for a Day 3 right now
  25. I agree after doing this version, I think CB is the move at 30. There will be guys at DE, DT, and maybe WR that are worth 56 and or 62. Like I said to @Sojourner I believe if we are making a move to being more of a man scheme than AZ Thomas is my guy for 30 if he gets there. I’m not a real big fan of Morrison and I like Revel but we might need someone ready from the Go
