2020 NFL Draft Rounds 4-7 discussion

I wouldn’t mind Proche either. Pure slot guy who can push out McKenzie, be developed, and hopefully eventually take over for Beasley who is what 30 or 31 -
Draft Day Winners Going Into Day 3
gonzo1105 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get that we will consider ourselves big winners but draft pundits prob won’t include Diggs in their articles so I don’t expect to be on a lot of their big winners. I think there have have been a lot of good drafts. A lot of depth makes a lot of drafts look good. As for the worst imo: Patriots Falcons Raiders -

2020 NFL Draft Round 2 and 3 Discussion.

I gotta think Bryce Hall the CB from Virginia is dropping due to injury concerns. No way he is not a top 100 pick in this draft, but to have all these teams keep passing him up makes me think thats the issue. -
I find this quote to be the most interesting posted. Basically admitted that they had very few 2nd and 3rd round grades left on players when they were up to pick. I wonder if Moss wasn't on the board that they would have traded out of that pick. Sounds like there wasn't much to ponder at 86.

I mean it was concerning to me but it very well could have been he was pissed that he was passed up by what he thought was inferior Running backs and was like wtf is going on here. IT also could be that he knows that he is going to be a backup here when he wanted an opportunity to be a feature guy immediately. Either way if hes not truly happy about being here, then guess what he's here for 4 years as a complimentary back and he moves on its not like we spent a 1st on him like we did Lynch who wanted out. -

Hes super underrated, really smart kid too. Has had a lot of contact with the Bills. Said the most actually. Fits the big WR role. Could be a huge steal after a year of two of development. -

I just feel like they reached on every pick except for Tua. Doesn't mean there aren't good players in there but bad value. -

Bryce Hall makes too much sense but people would kill the Bills for going defense twice in a row. Zack Moss they met with. I think Bryan Edwards and Antonio Gandy Golden are both options as well if they are going offense. -

Old school safety who cant cover and doesn't tackle a ton. The fact he wont the Thorpe award last year was laughable. A lot of his teammates in the secondary covered for him and made him look a lot better. -

I think it’s a very strong possibility they take a DB in round 2 whether it’s Big Nicole or pure CB. I also think them drafting a big WR is in the plans earlier than expected. There have been multiple reports of them seeing Higgins(tho reportedly unimpressed), meeting multiple times with Chase Claypool and reportedly according to the man himself, Antonio Gandy Golden has said the Bills have had the most contact. I really like him as a 3rd rounder. It wouldnt surprise me if the Bills went DB, WR in the first two picks. -

I disagree on Taylor. He was a great college player but he doesn’t offer enough versatility. He needs to go to a system that will feature him as a runner and runner only. He doesn’t catch the ball, he fumbles a ton. He’s the type of guy that drops. I think he ultimately ends up with Pittsburgh at 50 cause he’s just a perfect fit there. -

Dude Akers is a stud, you put him in Ohio States situation instead of FSU the last couple he would have eclipsed all Dobbins numbers. Akers is better than Dobbins and Taylor as an NFL prospect. I’ve been saying it for months. He is exactly Dalvin Cook, literally the same player. -

I mentioned 32 guys. Not only are 1 or 2 gonna be there but mathematically speaking that would mean up to another 32 picks make sense meaning that goes through pick #64. So that means 10 of those players will be on the board at # 54. The question is which 10. They are going to get a good player at 54. -

I thought the first round fell really well for the Bills tbh. The biggest needs at Edge, WR, CB, and SAF, RB all have extremely good depth still. We should be able to get a good player regardless of the direction we go in. Just looking at the position of needs there are RB- Dobbins, Taylor, Akers, Swift (4) WR- Shenault, Mims, Pittman, Claypool, Higgins(5) CB- Fulton, Diggs, Jaylon Johnson, Hall, Dantzler(5) Edge- Gross Matos, Epenesa, Weaver, Uche, Okwara(5) SAF- Delpit, Winfield, McKinney, Davis, Chinn, Duggar (6) At positions of need there are 25 guys that could be legitimate options at 54 alone. Meaning we should be able to get a really good player at 54 that they really like. This doesnt even include other positions we could take a guy just because hes too good a player to pass up like Josh Jones OT Houston, Ezra Cleveland OT Boise State, Lloyd Cushenberry OG, Logan Wilson LB Wyoming, Zack Baun LB Wisconsin, Ross Blacklock DT TCU, Neville Gallimore DT Oklahoma Should be able to stay at 54 unless they really like a guy on this list that they feel is worthy of trading up for. It will be a longer wait but we are still going to get a really good player. -

In a non Diggs world I would take Jefferson here and be thrilled. Huge fan of his -
I don’t think he’s elite. It helps having 3 NFL WRs and an offensive line and he still couldn’t stay healthy. He’s a good prospect but I have a lot of questions about him too
-
jags and Lions talking about a trade. Id assume Yannick and 9 would be involved to get to 3.

Who is your surprising Round 1 Pick
gonzo1105 replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll go Cole Kmet. Notre Dame TEs have good pedigree. He’s thought of as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Tight End group is bad in general so I can see someone reaching for the best one -
I see a ton of A.J. Dillon love around here. i can already see it now, 3rd round passes, people scream for Dillon, 4th round passes still no Dillon, 5th round, cmon man we gotta be taking Dillon here he’s fallen so far! Someone takes him in the 6,7th , or goes undrafted. Can’t believe we didn’t take that guy he’s a stud. Cut in training camp by 1 of 32 teams.

At 54 the Bills will take? Your guess here!!
gonzo1105 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that him playing WLB would be a stretch but him coming in and competing with Klein I could def see. Also makes the depth much stronger as he can obviously bump inside of something we’re to happen to Edmunds. He ran a 4.63 and put up good lateral agility numbers making me think he’s more than capable of playing in space a little more. -
These are by far the best “new” jerseys this offseason

I’ll say an underrated player that no one is talking about either is LB Logan Wilson from.....Wyoming. A position of need. Josh Allen would have a knowledge base on him when it comes to who Logan Wilson is as both a person and player. Could be a good SLB to compete with Klein or be the eventual replacement for Milano if he leaves for FA. As a player, 3rd team all American, All conference tackling machine. He also is on the plus side of athleticism for guys who worry about his play not translating. Ran a 4.6 at the combine, 241 pounds. Think he might actually go before 54 but if doesn’t he’d be a great option.
