  1. I get this but our next two opponents have created an interesting scenario as it comes to Covid and the potential impact that could happen on the Bills. The Raiders have broken numerous protocols including their coach being fined, having an unauthorized person(people) in their locker room and then most recently having multiple members of their team indoors without masks on in a large gathering. Then the next opponent the Titans currently have 9 players positive. If the Bills are gonna catch something, odds are the next two weeks are the strongest it happens.
  2. I know this was said in jest, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if he is brought in to be a backup to Allen next year. Seems like a logical end of career situation for Fitzpatrick and makes sense for a contending Bills team in case anything happens to Allen. With that said, Fitzpatrick always seems to find himself in the ideal situation to make as much of his new cities opportunities and probably will find himself in the same role he has always been in as a placeholder on a bad franchise for a new QB to take over.
  3. I agree with all of this, but games are won by offense at least in the regular season. No team can't be caught on the wrong week. The Cards lost to the Lions, the Saints lost to the Raiders, The Chiefs were on the brink vs the Chargers. Even the best teams are giving up points. The Seahawks have given up 31 and 30 the last two weeks and everyone thinks they are the NFC favorite.
  4. I wonder how much was taken out of them from the week before playing in that heat in Miami. The Bills defense I mean. They had to play in scorching heat, their banged up at key spots(Edmunds, Milano, Johnson), and then have to play a great offensive team who controlled the clock and kept them on the field. That can't be easy and they have to go out west next week and go play in the heat again in Las Vegas, just an observation I thought of. They got lucky today but hey they are 3-0 and may have just beaten the best team in the NFC. I wont complain there was many a season where I would have taken this win 10/10 times.
  5. Man this is a tough one matchup wise. I’m going Rams 30 Bills 23
  6. Man the Seahawks for as good as Wilson is and that offense is are just as terrible on defense. I get they have a lot of injuries and got a guy ejected but yikes their letting the Patriots mediocre weapons have their way with them.
  7. I watched McDermott's zoom press conference and man despite the win he looked like he was on edge like he didn't really want to talk to the reporters. To me it was like he was so disappointed in the defense, or he wasn't feeling great or something. Just an observation I noticed. Did anyone else notice it to or is it just me? I know in the past when he was disappointed with the defense he displayed it in a press conference i can't remember the game though.
  8. I think they hired Ken Dorsey with this in mind in case Daboll became a head coach. For system and continuity sakes I gotta believe its Ken Dorsey's job.
  9. I think your going to see Gesicki matched up with Neal and you might get to see Jaquan Johnson more this week just a hunch.
  10. If one of White, Wallace or Johnson goes down it’s actually fairly easy. Neal goes to CB and Marlowe replaces him as the down player. Marlowe has had a lot of game experience the last couple of years on and off so he is good depth to come in. Also could be time to see what Jaquan Johnson has who played well albeit in week 17 against the Jets last year
  11. I wonder if you see Siran Neal and the big nickel a lot this week. Big enough to play WLB and good cover guy . He’s about as close a guy to Milano as you can get. Play 5 DBs most of the game with Neal as the hybrid. I also think you see Milano out but Dodson and Edmunds playing. Dodson I think would get the start over Klein but Klein would play obvious run downs
  12. I gotta think it’s minor and he’ll be fine. I think the staff is being overly cautious with guys and rightfully so. Usually these guys get 4 games to slowly ramp up to full game speed and they didn’t get that this year. Gonna see a lot of injuries and pulls, soreness this 1st month of the season in particular
  13. Every year the Steelers defense gets propped up like its super special. I remember laughing my ass off last year as the Patriots shredded them and embarrassed them on opening night. The problem is the Giants are a team that plays right into what they do well. They have a great front 7 who can stop the run(which they did), the Giants have a terrible offensive line, and they have very few weapons on the outside to force the Steelers to back up a little bit. Plus the QB is still a question mark. I'll wait until they play a team with weapons on the outside, cause everytime that happens, the Steelers lay an egg on defense.
  14. I think the big issue is how do the Dolphins move the ball. I can see the Dolphins defense doing a better job against the Bills offense than the Jets did but man Devante Parker looks like he won’t play, their next best WR is probably Jakeem Grant or Preston Williams(who is coming off a knee injury). I got the Bills in a very similar score to week 1 games against the Pats. Bills 20 Dolphins 10
  15. Inn going to guess you’ll see familiar faces that know the scheme. Corey Thompson, Andre Smith will be called up, Lorenzo Alexander. Maybe Darron Lee since they worked him out recently
  16. First offensive play- PA Rollout to Dawson Knox in the flat First TD- Zack Moss Run First Catch- Dawson Knox First Sack- Mario Addison First INT- Matt Milano
  17. Yes, I have attended many a game since 1991, I was born in 85. Obviously my favorite experience was the 2nd half of the wild card win against the Oilers but thats an answer a lot of people would have. Even though the Bills lost the Monday Night game against Dallas was a great experience and atmosphere, probably one of the best I've ever attended at the Stadium. The Flutie win against the Jaguars was a good one. Least favorite are a bunch that stick out. The Jags winning 13-10 on the catch in the back of the endzone, Jay Cutler connecting on like a 3rd and 24 and then watching a 50 + yarder go through at the buzzer when we were playing the Broncos. From a weather standpoint there were two games back to back which were absolutely miserable in 1993. I believe one of them was against the Jets that the Bills barely won. It had to of been in the negatives after wind chill.
  18. I do think there is some way overconfidence by Bills fans. Yes the Jets on paper don’t look great and I expect the Bills to win but I’m not expecting a blowout. I think the Bills win like 24-13 or something like that but I could see this being a one possession game with two pretty good defenses battling it out
  19. Allen is the Achilles heel of this team. As others have said he’s shown really good flashes. If he continues the 2nd half of last year and keeps ascending then we have something. If we have Houston game Josh we’re always going to be up and down offensively. He needs to be more consistent for this team to win Super Bowls instead of just making the playoffs
  20. Buffalo 24 Jets 13
  21. The Bills and Eagles have done business quite a bit in the past as well obviously, so the relationships are clearly there to make a deal
  22. Idk why some in the seem down in the media cause he played the 2nd team defense. Our 2nd team defense is probably just as good as a middle of the pack 1st team defense. I'm impressed regardless, we don't know who was in the second team group but we do know we have quality depth esp on defense and he was going against some guys who can get after it.
  23. I think its possible that they keep Hauschka and Bass but no way. A key thing to remember is if a guy is released now, they can rollover that saved cap into next year when apparently the cap is going to be much lower. This is why I think guys like Murphy, Hauschka, DiMarco are more likely to be cut because their value has dropped in the team's eyes and they save money for next years impending salary cap restructure.
  24. I’m gonna go with 72 catches 1,243 yards and 7 TDs
