  1. Alright finally listened to the whole presser by Beane, considering he’s telling the truth which he does more of than McDermott. - Sounds to me that they don’t believe that CB is as big of a priority as we think it is. Sounds like they may attack this position in Free Agency and then add a younger guy later in the draft - Priority seems to be the Defensive line. Whether that’s a trade or drafting multiple guys. Stated that they are looking at the bigger guys more so at Defensive Tackle than the smaller guys. Sounds like they want to get bigger and more physical up front. - Don’t be surprised when they take a RB in the mid rounds again. Deep class plus the uncertainty of Cook in the future could lead to them taking a guy earlier than people think. - As for Edge talked about base ends that can reduce down on passing downs more so than anything else. Sounds like guys like Shamar Stewart, Nic Scourton, Jordan Butch etc more than the James Pearce, Ezeriuaku of the world . Sounds like the Bills want to get much bigger on the defensive line this offseason
  2. I’m not advocating but another paycut would allow them to save money on the cap this year while cutting him next year is much more palatable on the dead cap. He did slice his salary by 50% last year so getting back down to that 8-9 million number initially saves the Bills like 12-14 million Nah that’s Beane essentially saying we’ll have him back for the right price coupled with McDermott saying Bishop ideally is the starter
  3. Thats a great deal for Buffalo well below what he would have gotten on the open market by about 4 or 5 Million AAV. Gonna have to take that saved cash and give it to Cook most likely.
  4. Top 10 Offensive Tackles: 1. Josh Simmons Ohio State 2. Grey Zabel North Dakota State 3. Cameron Williams Texas 4. Kelvin Banks Texas 5. Josh Conerly Oregon 6. Marcus Mbow Purdue 7. Airontae Ersery Minnesota 8. Anthony Belton North Carolina State 9. Ajani Cornelius Oregon 10. Wyatt Milum West Virginia Top 10 Interior Offensive Line Rankings: 1. Armand Membou Missouri 2. Will Campbell LSU 3. Tyler Booker Alabama 4. Donovan Jackson Ohio State 5. Jonah Savaiinaea Arizona 6. Miles Frazier LSU 7. Dylan Fairchild Georgia 8. Tate Ratledge Georgia 9. Jackson Slater Sacramento State 10. Emery Jones LSU
  5. Yup I think they would. I truly think they are going to more man and need better athletes. He’s not going to make it to round 4 and probably not much into 3 so if the Bills want him they’ll have to take him in round 2. I really like him
  6. Cobee Bryant is a perfect fit for the Bills if they pass on CB at 30 to take at 56 and 62. Has some length at 6’0. Has experience with man and zone schemes and has plus athleticism. Doesn’t hurt he has excellent ball production either with 14 college interceptions. Not a plus tackler but willing to stick his nose in there. Thomas for sure won’t make it to 56 and I doubt Amos does either.
  7. He has been so injured the last couple of years I’m honestly surprised he’s not retiring
  8. O I agree that’s not the sole reason. I mean it’s a pretty big drop off still unless their aim is to get another vet. Jimmy G ain’t it and who knows if they sign someone like Darnold if he doesn’t regress. Jaxson Dart won’t be ready but they must like someone and confident to get them if their willing to let Stafford go
  9. There were rumors that the Rams were tired of Stafford wife on social media don’t know how true it is . Does Jimmy G get another crack at a starting job
  10. without hindsight and knowing what BTJ did I would have had him 4th behind Odunze and ahead of BTJ
  11. There have been plenty of examples of very successful #2s who sign large contracts to be a #1 and end up failing. Giving Higgins 25-30 AAV imo is a bad decision. He’s had Chase across from him the last couple and he’s always had Burrow throwing him the football. That’s a deadly duo to help take pressure off of you. What happens when he signs with a team that doesn’t have that advantage. He’s prob not even on the Bills board due to cost
  12. I love Harris and his upside is more than Egbuka but Egbuka is such a smooth does everything well operator. Harris has a lot to do still . I also like Horton but there are too many questions for him to have him that high imo. If you had Horton at 8 or 9 I wouldn’t have bat an eye at you. One thing I love about Golden is he has no wasted motion. He catches, he sticks and accelerates. Too many guys juke or round turning upfield. Not Golden
  13. Paulson Adebo is my # 1 want but he’s probably going to fetch a pretty penny. A guy like Kristian Fulton might not be a bad play for someone cheaper. I will say maybe they bring back Jackson if they are trying to fill holes at it appears the Bills are now fully into the comp pick game and taking a guy like Jackson doesn’t count versus an Adebo If we trade Elam at this point it will probably be the old Boogie Basham pick swap. If we’re lucky we can get a 5 while giving up Elam and a 7th. I think that’s like best case scenario tho for the Bills
  14. I think they’re going more to man so I don’t think it’s going to happen
  15. Im going to be honest with ya, it doesn’t have the top guys of last years class for sure but I really really like the depth options in this draft. There are slot guys, vertical guys, route runners. Most of these guys are going to take a couple to establish but I could argue in rounds 3-5 especially that the WR class this year is better than last year
  16. Yea very very similar except for the fact of Isaiah Bond, which I can see why someone would have him higher to be honest with his speed and explosiveness. I have Royals at 11 and Felton will be very dependent on his 40 as he is a great route runner but I question his long speed
  17. TE Rankings Top 10. 1. Tyler Warren Penn State 2. Colston Loveland Michigan 3. Mason Taylor LSU 4. Elijah Arroyo Miami 5. Gunnar Helm Texas 6. Oronde Gadsden Syracuse 7. Harold Fannin Bowling Green 8. Terrance Ferguson Oregon 9. Luke Lachey Iowa 10. Jackson Hawes Georgia Tech
  18. WR Rankings Top 10 1. Tet McMillan Arizona 2. Emeka Egbuka Ohio State 3. Matthew Golden Texas 4. Luther Burden Missouri 5. Tre Harris Mississippi 6. Jayden Higgins Iowa State 7. Xavier Restrepo Miami 8. Tez Johnson Oregon 9. Tai Felton Maryland 10. Isaiah Bond Texas
  19. When we have been really good we have been really good even though that has been few and far between but even when we have been bad we usually were anywhere from 6-10 to 8-8 most seasons and we're hardly ever 2-14 etc etc.
  20. Nolan's tape at Texas A&M is not good all the time. That could be the concern as well that evaluators are seeing and he turned it on at Missisissippi but he still does have issues. I just think the upside is too much for him to fall to the 2nd round. As for Pearce man I hope thats not us saying that but it sure does sound like us. The things that makes me hold out hope is that usually the Bills don't let things leak very often but it would kill me to see Pearce drop to us, exactly what we need on the defensive line for him to end up in KC or Philadelphia and kill it.
  21. Honestly don't believe that either will be available to the Bills imo
  22. I 100% agree with @GunnerBill on this one. You’re taking Williams as a size guy who has no pass rush repertoire at all. I have a slightly higher grade but I had him at 27 in my first mock and the team taking him is taking him with the hopes they can coach him into a pass rusher. As for Jalon Walker I wouldn’t take him either. He’s a better pass rusher but he is such a tweener to take in the first 15 picks and he just isn’t a good fit for a 4-3 in general imo.
  23. I don’t think l would pass on James Pearce who he has falling out of the first due to character concerns. The Bills need high level defensive lineman though and can’t afford to let him get by them with two teams notoriously known for taking high level players with character concerns. I actually think that McMillian going between 10-20 makes sense as he was vastly overrated early in the process. Had him at 12 in my first mock but could see him going later
  24. There are some rumors out there that James Pearce is free falling due to major character concerns. If he gets to 30 or close to it and we pass and he ends up in KC or Philly(two teams who don’t care) I’ll be so damn pissed. He’s exactly what this team needs as a pass rusher
  25. I don’t take offense to your comments. If you read above, I tend not to care about consensus. Consensus gets you in trouble. Consensus a month ago had Mike Green as the 40th pick and now consensus has him in the top 20 with some projecting him in the top 10. As for a Nose at 30, I totally understand and get the pick and why people want it. As for a 1T the Bills have not invested in that position not only highly but at all via the draft. The only 1T they have taken in Beane/McDermotts tenure was Harrison Phillips. That can change but I’ll believe it when I see it. As for Williams I don’t value him at 30. He’s a good run stuffer but provides very little in the way of pass rush. I don’t see investment in a 2 down run stuffer at that pick. A lot of people were quacking for T’Vondre Sweat last year in round 1 and he was taken at 38 but he provided the Titans with no pass rush. I disagree that Tre Harris and Keon Coleman are the same besides their size. Harris is more of a move Z and he does need development which I stated in the post and followed up that if the Bills went Royals or another WR I would understand . I believe ultimately, as things stand now that the Bills will take a CB at 30 if I could do it over as I see them shifting to a man philosophy moving forward
