  1. I want the Bills to win a SB every year but I also realize we don't win that SB without a QB who plays at a high level consistently. I love the people who think this team is close to coming to being a playoff team. This team will finish somewhere between 4-12 and 6-10. This is for numerous reasons. First year coach and his system, a brutal schedule featuring said great QBs, and an overall lack of talent on the roster. I have watched this team waddle to no playoff appearances with top rushing offenses, top defenses, and great special teams play over the course of 17 years. There are two reasons really why we haven't been. We lack a difference maker at QB and the team in our division has one of the greatest of all time. IDC what it takes, find the QB and the rest will fall in place
  2. People are so desperate for the playoffs that they want to keep this together for one more year to see what happens. Tyrod Taylor is an average starting QB. Not great not terrible. This new regime by all accounts was ready to let Taylor walk to sign Brian Hoyer if he didn't agree to their terms. Taylor bit and did the deal. This staff has zero intention of keeping Taylor beyond this year whether it means drafting a guy in 2018, going with Peterman, or signing a vet. If Sam Bradford can fetch a 1st and 4th round pick than Tyrod Taylor can sure fetch at least one high pick. Jacksonville, Denver, and Indianapolis would seem like likely options if they go in that route. I could see the roster transformation continuing and Taylor and Ragland seem like the most likely to go
  3. I remember the mega thread where 90% of the board loved Ragland and wanted to draft him in the first round at 19. Then people went in hysterics when the Bills traded up for him in round 2. There was a small minority, including myself that were getting bashed for saying that Ragland was too slow and he would be terrible in coverage and was not worth even being drafted in the 2nd round. I for one wanted the Bills to draft Darron Lee.
  4. Build a group of players who are team first and are available at all times. I'm not talking from a strategic X's and O's standpoint I'm talking about from a philosophical standpoint
  5. If this were to happen. I assume for either a high draft pick or multiple mid rounders, it would just give a stronger credence to either McDermott doesn't like Watkins as a fit for what he wants to do or he is trying to stockpile draft picks for a rebuild/trade up for a franchise QB
  6. Yea I am. They are not low level scouts, they are in charge of an entire recruiting area or the Pro side of things.
  7. I'd say Josh Allen has the most upside out of Rosen Darnold and Allen. Darnold will be the safest guy out of those 3.
  8. I still don't like bringing back guys. I'm sure they are thankful for their jobs back and won't hold ill will but a house cleaning is supposed to be just that. These guys have been apart of some miserable drafts and their opinions and reports are valued by higher up people in previous regimes. This is why I don't understand bringing them back
  9. Jordan is a downhill runner who needs to be in a pro style offense. UB forced him to run shoulders to the sideline too much last year. He was also behind a pretty young offensive line that struggled last year. Above average hands in the passing game.
  10. I really like Blair Brown from Ohio. I think he'd be a great WLB down the line. Might not last tho till our pick.
  11. Chad Williams Grambling State
  12. I know most people will take this as a joke and say ah who cares I like JuJu. I wouldn't draft him based off of that. That's info is serious when u talk about a WR catching the football in the cold. It also might give an insight into a guys plans after his rookie deal. He also reminds me way too much of Robert Woods and that is not a good thing. I want someone who is more dynamic as a WR.
  13. I'm thinking Kevin King at 27 if he is still available
  14. I like Corey Davis. I work for the Univ of Buffalo and got a first hand look at him destroy us in Kalamazoo singlehandedly in the 2nd quarter of the game. He is a hell of a player. My issue is that he has not been able to work out the entire offseason. The comp level he plays at is sub par, and he couldn't run a 40 yard dash. We also need to know he is fully healthy because our already number 1 WR can't do it. What is the point of having two #1s that aren't on the field. That is my point when it comes to taking him at 10. It has nothing to do with what I see in mock drafts
  15. Ah got ya. I can see Thomas, I can see Howard, I can't see Davis or Ross at 10. Maybe after a trade down but no way at 10. Lattimore wont be there so no worries
  16. I guess my question would be why isn't he actually posting this? Why is some 2nd hander doing it? No offense. If this is our top 5 board then yuck lol
  17. Reddick may not even be there at 10. I think he is the odds on favorite if Hooker and Adams are off the board.
  18. I'm so sick of the we have holes theory and we need to plug in for depth. There is one position that makes your team go around and that is QB. That position makes every other positions weaknesses hidden. Does drafting any other positions help us win games? How many more games did we win with Marshawn Lynch, Stephon Gilmore etc We have an all pro DT at 3rd overall. Before Rex ruined him he was getting 8-10 sacks a season. Did he get us in the playoffs? One position matters and that is QB. Tyrod is not going to take this team to a Super Bowl. You have to gamble big to win big sometimes.
  19. Could this be more about gathering info on Reddick and Hairston than actually about Walker?
  20. I've been a huge fan of Sheads. I know he tore his ACL late last year but I can't believe the Seahawks didn't tender him as an RFA. This is a great get for a team running a zone defense like we will be. This is one I would really like to see get done
  21. Man if I had to go with one on the list I'd probably take Malik Hooker. I'm really intrigued by Obi though. He has the size and athleticism that we desperately need against the Patriots. With his size speed combo he can develop like Byron Jones and would be one of a handful of guys who might be able to slow down Rob Gronkowski. In addition, he is a bigger Shaq Thompson who can be the LB/S combo that McDermott really likes to have on his roster. A really flexible, versatile behavior. Anybody who thinks this guy is gonna be there at 44 is nuts
  22. The Head Coach just had a presser that we pretty much said they are looking for accountable playeres who can lead and are good people off of the field. This is not going to happen
  23. I'm not in love with re-signing Zach Brown to a long term deal tbh. He's been a journeyman his whole career. He is not the best run defender, and he's only had one season where he played above his skill level(last season). If the contract is right then fine but giving this guy 5-6 mill a season will blow up on you
  24. It's not really up to Lynn unless he gets a head coaching gig. The Bills, if they want, can block Lynn going to another team to be an OC because he is under contract to the Bills. That's where all this is coming from
